Don't go here--bad customer service. I went to Sun Auto to get my driver-side tire fixed, and everything seemed fine at first. The next day, they sent me a recommendation saying my other tires had the same problem. They never told me about that while I was there and still let me drive the car with bad tires. All they could say was, "Sorry, maybe it was a misunderstanding." When I picked up my car, the mechanic was on the phone while checking it. Of course they missed things--they were too busy using their phones. SMH. Don't go here. Total waste of time. ZERO STAR!!!!

The guys at Sun auto service helped me with an alignment issue, they were straight forward and told me what was in their scope, showing me my car on the lift. Without up charging or trying to find issues to tack on. Great group of guys!

This is the old sticker they appear to have picked at and then just left without even putting a new one.

4/23/25 This place used to feel trustworthy, but now it feels like the type of shop that tries to intimidate customers and pressure them into unnecessary expenses. If you enjoy being treated like you don't know anything about cars, and you're okay with upsells and questionable repair recommendations, then this might be the place for you. As for me, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I've been a loyal customer of Sun Auto for years, taking both of my vehicles there for regular maintenance. Unfortunately, I won't be returning after my recent experience. Their prices have climbed higher than most other places in the area, and to make matters worse, the way they treat customers has gone downhill. During my last visit, Edgar was especially rude and condescending. He tried to upsell me on new tires, insisting that I was in dire need of replacement, even though my tires are only two years old and in great condition. His pushy behavior made me uncomfortable, and it all became clear when I noticed the big poster on their front door advertising a tire sale--it felt like the hard sell was purely profit-driven. I also asked for a general inspection because my car was making a weird noise, something they used to do for free in the past. This time, I was told it would cost $155. When I declined, Edgar's attitude became noticeably worse. He warned me that I was "taking the risk of doing worse damage to the car" and then made a comment about how they "would go out of business if they gave free inspections." The entire interaction felt dismissive and unfriendly, as though I was being punished for not agreeing to the upsell. To top it all off, on a prior visit with my other vehicle, they claimed I needed a $5,000 repair. Thankfully, I decided to get a second opinion, and it turned out the repair wasn't needed at all. Addition 4/26/25 My "need oil change" light came on today. (2 days after the oil change)Then I looked in the upper left corner of the car windsheild and the old sticker they put on from last oil change is STILL there, and even worse, the corners are picked at, as if they tried to get it off but couldn't and just left it. UNBELIEVABLE! They couldn't even reset the oil change counter on the dash or give me a new sticker that shows when i'm due next. I now am doubting that they even did the oil change!!!

Proof they put the wrong oil in my Jeep

Naturally, they discovered a few other issues and were eager to have them fixed at their shop as soon as possible. I reached out to Roadside Wrench, and Jonathan promptly arrived at my place the next day. Jonathan worked efficiently and completed the job in no time. Findlay Honda, however, attempted to charge me an exorbitant amount for this minor repair.

Called up and scheduled an appointment with Jon. Upon his arrival we just knew things were about to trend in the right direction. He has such an incredible personality, is patient and overall, has a down to earth demeanor that is a RARITY (and refreshing to see) in this city. After attempting to "kick" the starter and run diagnostics on the battery, it became evident that both needed to be replaced. The battery was only a few months old, but as is the case sometimes, there is a chance you might end up with a dud. Based on Jon's suggestion, we managed to get a replacement from the nearby auto parts store, and within a couple days, the starter replacement arrived, and Jon not only installed it but even helped change the oil in my mom's car as well and answer some of her questions and concerns. We will definitely continue to use, as well as recommend Jon to friends and family. Thanks Jon! BTW: The Rooster, with his leather jacket on, says hi. :D

Edgar must have been going through something personal when he came to help me. That's all I can…read morethink of to try to empathize and understand why he would treat me and my fiancee the way he did. I will do my best to be impartial and lay out the facts, but I'll be honest when I say that it does anger me to remember that I put my fiancee through this experience back in August. To begin, his communication is not clear in the slightest. I had to keep asking questions to gain clarity, and it seemed like I annoyed him by asking questions. He would often respond with one word responses or include ellipsis (...). When we met for the diagnosis, I shook his hand and gave a big smile. I asked if I could get him a drink or help him with anything as it was a hot August day. He hardly made eye contact with me and didn't smile. He figured out the issue with my car and I paid him $80 cash for the diagnosis (a reasonable/average price). Though he wasn't the kindest to me, I was already in for the diagnosis fee which he said goes towards labor, so I decided to move forward with labor. We spoke on the phone for a little when I asked him what his availability is for the labor, and how much it might cost. He said verbatim, "I don't know like $400?" and struggled to give me a day for availability, so I offered to give him a moment to think about it and text me when he figures it out. In text on Yelp I asked him what his hourly labor rate is to which he replied $120/hr. The day he is available I am working, but he says that's fine and that he can work on it while I'm at work. He shows up to do the work and he seems to be in a worse mood than the first time. I ask if I can get him anything before I leave for work, but he says no with his back turned towards me. I introduce him to my fiancee so she can assist him with anything he might need. While I'm at work, she's texting me that he's making her feel uncomfortable, so I tell her he might be having a bad day and ask her to bring him a cold drink. She does. He asks to use the bathroom so she takes him to our apartment's community restroom. He comments on the quality of the apartments and that they must be expensive. Uh oh. Time for payment. I'm at work so I'm not able to respond very quickly, but I ask him how much I owe him, to which he says $400. At $120/hr, the math didn't add up. He demands $400 and says he said that's how much it was on the phone. Will someone please explain in what world I ask for his hourly rate if it was clear to me that it was going to be a flat $400? We spoke on the phone a little to which he starts yelling and cussing at me while I'm just trying to gain some clarity on this obvious misunderstanding. My fiancee is texting me that she is extremely uncomfortable being around him, so to avoid any further issues or discomfort, I tell him I will pay what he is demanding. I tell him I will send him $320 to which he starts raging at me again. When he calms down a little I explained that he originally told me on Yelp that the diagnostic fee will go towards the labor. He reluctantly accepts after checking our Yelp conversation. I send my fiancee down one last time with the money in cash (to be nice because I know he's not claiming any of this on his taxes). I apologize for the misunderstanding, even though I still think the misunderstanding was his fault within his poor communication and customer service. He says "lose my number" after he still got what he demanded for. Screenshots attached. I am giving him 2 stars because the work he did was great. The part he installed has held up and is still working great to this day. Thank you for your service. If you were going through something personal then, I hope things have turned around for the better. All love!

I had a very disappointing experience with Nevada Auto Center and would strongly advise others to…read moreproceed with caution. My boyfriend brought his work truck in for a diagnostic due to starting issues and other concerns. We were initially charged for the diagnostic, and then quoted approximately $1,900 for repairs. After leaving the vehicle with them, communication quickly became a major issue. Nearly a full week went by with no updates we had to call them ourselves just to find out what was going on. We were told they were waiting on a part from California and that it would arrive within a couple of days. However, several more days passed with no communication. Each time we followed up, we were given vague answers and repeated assurances that the truck would be "ready later that day or the next." This happened several times on separate occasions where we were told the truck would be ready, only for it not to be. In total, they had the truck for three weeks. This is not just an inconvenience this is our work truck, and the delay directly caused lost income. When the truck was finally picked up, on the very next day one of the original issue was still not resolved. It continued to have trouble starting one of the very issue it was brought in for. When we contacted them about this, instead of taking responsibility, and covering it under the repair warranty they claimed it was a separate problem and informed us it would be an additional charge of $400. Additionally, when we attempted to contact the owner directly to discuss and resolve this issue, our calls were ignored and not returned. This is unacceptable. The purpose of a diagnostic is to identify the issues with the vehicle. Charging nearly $2,000 and returning the truck with the same problem and then charging more for it shows either a lack of competence or a lack of integrity. Overall, the experience was marked by: Poor communication and lack of proactive updates Repeated missed timelines and false assurances Extended delays that caused financial loss Failure to properly diagnose and fix the original issue Additional charges for a problem that should have been addressed initially. I rarely leave reviews, but this experience warrants it. Based on our experience, I would not trust this shop with another vehicle, and I would not recommend it to others.
