That is horrible business practice and you shouldn't be taking advantage of people especially the way the economy is, where people can hardly afford to put food on their table. Phil quickly recommended a diagnostic test, which revealed a radiator failure causing a leak. He reassured me they could handle the repair without any issues. On the day of the repair, things didn't go as smoothly as planned. There was a delay that took longer than expected, which understandably left me frustrated. However, when I shared my concerns with Phil especially about needing better updates so I could plan around not having my car, he completely turned the situation around. Phil took ownership of the issue, communicated clearly, and set realistic expectations. He genuinely made an effort to make things right and followed through by getting my 2013 Cadillac ATS fixed properly. While I wasn't thrilled about the $1,400 cost, he did everything he could to help, including explaining financing options that ended up being a huge relief. In the end, I'm very happy with the results and the overall experience. I'll definitely be returning. Also, shoutout to Mario and the mechanics for being incredibly patient throughout the process. The car needed to reset all the electronics, they asked me to drive around the block to clear them, and then come back so they could ensure all was well with new battery. He suggested they do a complimentary Vehicle Inspection and then talk again about what the mechanic found. The Inspection report was emailed to me so I got to look through it before he called me up again. When he called me he told me that my front brakes were worn and needed to be replaced, but my back brakes were fine. Wow! That's honesty. He could have sold me front and back and I wouldn't have known the difference.. The mechanic also recommended a transmission flush due to the mileage. I figured since they saved me $ on brakes, let's go ahead and do it. We also did an oil change and I'm not sure if they re-balanced my wheels or not, but my car seems to be running WAY better than it did when I arrived! I recently had an experience that reminded me why I continue to choose Firestone…read more A few weeks ago, I visited the Firestone location on South Rainbow and had one of my tires replaced. At that time, I also asked them to inspect my front tire because I was concerned about it. I was told there was nothing wrong with it and that it simply needed air. Unfortunately, about two weeks later, the tire began leaking badly and would not hold air. I contacted the store to see if I could get it replaced the same day, but the tire needed to be ordered. The following day, I had appointments for my daughter and couldn't make it in, so I kept putting air in the tire just to get by. Eventually, the tire went completely flat on the side of the road, and I had to call AAA for assistance. While dealing with the situation, I searched for the nearest Firestone because I've always trusted Firestone's service and the quality of their run-flat tires. That's when I contacted the Flamingo location and spoke with Mark. Mark was an absolute lifesaver. He told me to come right in, confirmed they had the tire I needed in stock, and assured me they could take care of it. Despite it being a last-minute visit, my tire was replaced in about an hour. I honestly expected to be there for several hours, but Mark and his team got me back on the road quickly and professionally. Because of the outstanding service I received from Mark, I am more than willing to drive from the Cactus and Blue Diamond area all the way to the Flamingo location for future service. That's how much of an impact this experience had on me. Thank you, Mark, for turning a stressful situation into a positive one. Our Chevy Traverse died while driving on Friday, dead battery. Turned out it was more than that…read more Had the vehicle towed to Firestone on Flamingo Rd and the technicians had to push the car into the service bay. The battery was dead but so was the alternator. They did charge a fee for an alternator test and I agreed to it, good thing I did. They had the battery in stock and were able to get a rebuilt alternator. Trump's tariffs are making auto parts expensive because they weren't charged an extra fee since they are made in Mexico or Canada, now their prices go up and down and are hard to keep in stock. Firestone is trying to keep costs down to the consumer, hence the rebuild. Everything was take care of in a few hours after bringing it in and their estimation on the repair time was spot on. What really helped was the Epic Sales Event that was going on that week.
