Adjunct to previous review! Jay, Bryan, Joe have kept my Toyota Scion running beyond all Toyota expectations! 230,000. miles. Prices are more than reasonable! Care is always attentive with explanations to a "Car Idiot" which would be myself. Their dignoises are spot on; often with very creative ideas, adding a belt to bypass an extremely repair, more than my "Rudi" Toyota Scion is worth. The offices are always "Clean" and the Car Bays are always full, yet they find the time to get most everyone in and out on a more than timely basis. Beyond Car Services with reasonable prices and a continuous flow of returning to new customers, the personal service is impecable! The sitting room is Clean, serving coffee and fresh water, plus WiFi and a TV if one is interested. This is a Team who share the responsibility of any given vehicle entering their lot! When I arrived at Midas I was immediately greeted by the manager who is Jeff Smith. I had a difficult situation with an exhaust leak and within 5 minutes my car was up on the lift and a service diagnosis was underway. The problem was my exhaust gasket was blown and I was immediately given a solution. I will bring the car back later in the week to have the leak repaired. I was also in a rush to go to the doctor and Mr. Jim Smith's accommodation was able to diagnose the problem (I might add with a big smile) in less then 10 minutes and get me out the door. The first time I went here was to get a flat fixed. I walked in and they had it repaired quickly. Only as I was leaving did I notice the sign on the door stating their closing time was about 30 minutes before I had shown up. They never said a word. So when I needed new tires for my roadster I looked around. I could have saved $10/tire elsewhere, but I wanted to give them my business. They had them swapped out fast and efficiently. I had a slight alignment concern before the new tires but I wanted to make sure that actual good tires didn't fix it, so drove the new ones around a bit and decided it DID need an alignment. It actually needed a new part which was half the price there as at BMW, and they got it done in the time they promised. 2007 Z4 and rides like it is brand-new. read more

Originally I gave this business a one star review but I'm changing it to five stars and here's why: I had my battery replaced here in 2022 but recently realized that the incorrect battery was put into my car. After a bunch of back and forth with the manager I was told they would not cover the cost of having to replace it with the correct battery (hence the initial one star review); however, the owner, Jeremy, called me personally and was entirely apologetic. He addressed the issue honorably and fairly, and offered to cover the cost of the replacement battery. Despite the initial experience I had, the owner is fantastic and I would come back for service here. Mistakes happen and I am understanding of that. I got an oil change here for the first time ever. It was a really busy day and they somehow squeezed me in, i waited an hour and a half. This was months ago and I went to change the oil myself and couldn't get the drain plug off with every method in the book including impact driver. The drain plug has drip of dried blue loctite. Everybody was too busy and couldn't help. We called Midas and spoke to Jay the manager. My husband explained our situation and Jay said even though they are really busy, that he'd take care of us and to bring our truck in at 7:30 the next morning. We were there at 7 and they were all already there and working. We left our truck and walked across the street to get a bite to eat. Went to Midas just for an oil change. There were no lights on on my dashboard. They claim my brake light and battery came on. They said I may have an alternator issue. I had a new alternator put in last year and it has been running just fine. The battery and brake light did not come on until it was in their bay. My brakes were recently done too. This all sounds extremely suspect to me. read more

My wife's car battery had died so we went here. They proceeded to give her the wrong battery size for her car and we proceed to spend the next 2-3 months trying to get figure out why the car kept having starting issues (had to jump it constantly). She was even trapped a few times after going to the store. We went back in and even swapped it out (with another wrong size). After spending 2 weeks in the shop with dealership's mechanic they came back and said it was not the correct battery. So they swapped it out again. I will give Midas credit they did finally give us a refund, but only after we came with A LOT of paperwork from the dealership documenting what the issue was. So in hindsight, this little error cost us hundred of dollars indirectly, because of the extra money we had to spend (on extra care trips). I suspect this error probably cost us upwards of about 500$ in Uber rides, extra gas fill-ups on the other car, insurance, etc. read more

My insurance company wasn't in their network/couldn't get me a rental car the same day, so Midas was kind enough to lend me their loaner car (free of charge) until the insurance approval and repairs were done. This Midas is great, as long as you get the right people up front. Jeff was incredibly helpful, and Lauren made sure my service was handle quickly. While I was sitting in the waiting though, I couldn't help but over hear/witness a little commotion. A gentleman behind the counter, I'm not sure what his name was, but he was taller, older, and he smiled a lot, had told some one to bring their car down and they would get taken care of right away. Now, I didn't know it at the time, but this shop was apparently very busy. I left happy after my hour and a half wait time that I was told up front, but the guy that came down was very displeased when I was leaving. He had been there for about as long as I had, but instead of being taken care of "right away" as he was told, his car hadn't even been pulled in to be serviced when I left. I guess, moral of the story is, make sure they can actually handle your business before you show up. read more

just now Do not go to this Midas. I brought my van in for New brakes. They replaced them along with a few other things. Several weeks later my van started to shudder when I applied the brakes. I took it back and I was told the brake pads failed. The report they wrote up states that they replaced them as a "courtesy" when the brakes and with are supposed to be under a warranty. As soon as I got the van back after the second time of them replacing the brakes I had shuddering when I applied the brakes. I brought it back a third time, this time they didn't even make a ticket in the computer, they looked at it for 10 minutes and told me it was the suspension. I know the shocks and struts need to be replaced, but my brakes should work. I was blown off by their technician. I felt so patronized. Several weeks later the brakes started to squeal so loud that people on the phone could hear it. I brought it back a 4th time and was told that it's normal for brakes to squeal. I was handed a flyer explaining that squealing brakes is normal. Maybe some small squeaks here and there, but not the high pitched loud squeal that my van was making. They ordered factory parts and replaced the brakes again. Then on the report they wrote it was a "goodwill gesture". Really? Something is not right with my brakes that you worked on and instead of stating that they were replaced under warranty they put it was a goodwill gesture? So just something to shut me up? The techs at this shop talk down to people like they are stupid. The one good thing about this shop is the customer service from Lauren. I'm ready to call the better business bureau and report this shop. read more

I took my car in for an oil change from a coupon I got from King Soopers. My car was in good condition prior to this visit. I have a regular mechanic that knows about my vehicle and it's condition. After my visit to this location, my car now has some issues with a seal leak. It didn't spontaneously start leaking. My mechanic thinks it was tampered with. They wanted several hundred dollars to fix this sudden problem along with as laundry list of other things they "found". Beware of this shop! They are not on the up and up! read more
