I brought my truck in to get the tires rotated before a long trip the next day. They came back out and told me my front tires were at a "2" (legally bald) and I needed to have them replaced. They said they are not safe to drive on for any significant distance more than around town. Thankfully, I have a second car and, while less ideal because older and more wear/tear was not preferred, I just said I would drive that car. When I returned to CO, I took my truck to Costco to get new tires. They measured the front tires and found them at mostly "4" with one "3." They told me it was completely safe to drive for a while longer but to come back in a couple months to have them remeasured. I will never return to Discount Tire for any services because they clearly are not honest in business practices. read more

I brought my Toyota Camry in for tires. I bought 5 tires, replacing the spare as well. After driving my car for a week and feeling like something wasn't quite right, my son noticed my tires on the driver side weren't the same size. I had four 205 R15's (one in the trunk as a spare) and one 190 R15 on the drivers side back tire...thank heavens. My son and my mechanic said it would have done some serious damage as my car is front wheel drive. So far today I've called this Discount Tire Store 6 times letting the phone ring and ring and ring....no answer. I guess ill take my chances to see if I can get the right tire on my car. I had my mechanic take the odd size tire off and put the correct size tire on my car. I will not be back, ever. There are too many good tire companies to go back to this location. Honestly, This is the worst discount store in Colorado. The staff is very immature and act as though they are untrained scam artists. My female friend went to the store for a simple tire swap, Zach an employee began to belittle and gender target her by trying to upsell her all 4 wheels saying they were damaged, when they weren't instead of her simple tire change request to fix a blown tire. I then called and requested the manager, after speaking with him he was no help, i then requested the regionals number to which I denied and then given a false number. Resulting in having to call another discount to retrieve the true number and had them help me. I would not recommend this store to anybody that doesn't have a clue about wheels/tires. Visited this location twice in the last 2 weeks. Both times I had an appointment and both times I was told they would be done less than 45minutes. The first time my vehicle was still sitting where I parked it an hour later and hadn't even been looked at. I'm still in the middle of my second visit and it has been over an hour and it is still being worked on. This second visit was for a puncture inspection that should have taken only a few minutes. They might do an ok job of putting tires on, but this location is terrible at managing their job flow. You cannot trust their wait times. They appear to just make up the wait times. And I'm not sure if making an appointment matters at all. If it does, I hate to think what the wait times are if you don't make an appointment... And for reference this is in September and the waiting room is half empty. I've used discount tire for several decades. Next time I'm going to Costco or Big-O tires. read more

I was so happy with this visit, right till the end, then, kapow. I needed snow tires rotated back on our Audi and for my vette, move a tire from a damaged rim onto a new rim. Very pleased to be told that it would be $30 total (no charge for the tire swap, all our tires come from this store) and done in 45 minutes! But the first thing I told the service writer when he came to me (I'll leave his name out) was, the rear left has a nail in it, leaks and needs repaired. Then I said rotate in the snow tires, swap the other tire/rim, etc. Car comes out right at 45 minutes, a different young man handed me the keys and told me that oh, by the way, one of those tires we removed has a nail it, you should get that fixed. Whaaaaat????? I was so blown away by the lunacy of that, I just took the keys and got in the car and drove away without comment. So, you're in surgery for hours, it's successful, you live, you wake up and the surgeon visits and says, "We replaced your aorta, you're gonna be fine. Oh but, you have a hole in your heart, you really ought to get that looked at". It's a great store, I'll keep doing business there but, wow. That's f'd up. read more

Manager gave me a call and was very kind and took care of the situation. Great customer service. Disappointed in Discount. Drove 40 min to get to my appointment and the price was given over the phone was not out the door as I was lead to believe. All the add ons and up charges nearly doubled the price. The service person was cool but ultimately wasn't able to or at least didn't offer to provide any meaningful remedy. Bummer, would like to see greater transparency when quoting prices. read more

Edit: recap of this past week. After posting this review below I was contacted by the manager. The manager was very eager to make things right and apologized for the inconvenience and was willing to admit the mistakes that were made. I rescheduled for today 1/18/25 and was given an appointment at 2 pm. I arrived early (1:45). They got me right in. I had them even replace a TPMS sensor. My truck was ready within 45 minutes. They performed at the level I have expected from Discount Tire over the years. The guy at the counter (Ryan) was very helpful and did a great job. I'm modifying my review to 4 star. It would be a 5 star if I was able to get this done last week. Thank you Discount for taking care of the issues. I will be continuing to use Discount and this location. I have been using Discount Tires for over 20 years. This has been the absolute worst experience with Discount I have ever had. First I ordered the tires Cooper STT Pro's 2 days prior. They told me they would be there on Friday 1/10/25. I asked for an appointment early Saturday morning. They told me no appointment needed if I get there at 8 when they open. I asked twice for an appointment and was told the same both times. So I arrived at 8am on 1/11/25. There were probably 10 people already there. Once I got my turn at the counter I explained I was here for tires. The guy behind the counter looked and said. The tires will not be here until 1/13/25 and I should come back then. I asked the guy if he was serious. He stated whoever I talked to should have told me. Absolutely will not be going back. I would suggest using another tire dealer if they treat customers who are there to spend thousands of dollars at a time this way. Do not use them. read more

Long term customer at Discount tire and this location has very poor quality control. For the 2nd time, they have incorrectly installed the wheels on my car. The tires and balance are fine, but they over torqued the wheels to over 130 lbs on a German Car. The first time, they stripped the threads on the hub (which they acknowledged and repaired). I was doing maintenance on the vehicle and could not loosen a lug nut with a breaker bar until I put a pipe on it for leverage. The same problem existed for one lug nut on each wheel, so I put a torque wrench on it to measure it. Hoping corporate reads this and addresses the issues at this location. read more

Came in with a nail in my tire. Once repaired they tell me they broke my stud and gave me a "free repair" at brakes plus. Call brakes plus and it's a 3-4 hour repair. No remorse or care, just so casual about it. Because of discount tires carelessness, I have to dedicate an entire day to repair my vehicle and try to figure out transportation on a week day. Came here to get a set of wheels mounted. The team put in tire pressure system monitors that do not connect to my car. I obviously do not want to keep taking the tires on and off the rims as it's bad for the integrity of the tire. I worked with a man named Andy who was absolutely useless and wildly rude when I came back to try to see what the shop could do for me and what part they used. I am shocked that a shop like this would not be able to put in accurate parts. I now have a tpms that does nothing but throw a warning light on my dash. There was absolutely no responsibility by discount tire. Andy gave me nothing but attitude. He should fine a different job if he can't play a part in customer service. I've been a big fan of Discount for many years. Unfortunately a few days ago I arrived early morning needing a rotation/balance/and air tpms lite was on so need air in tires. As I waited I saw my car get pulled in very quickly and 10 min later pulled out. The employee pulled my car out front and gave me my keys. I asked him if they checked the air pressure because my lite was on and he replied they all checked out. I got home light still on and 20lbs of pressure in rear tire. I filled it myself and light came off. Bottom line this shouldn't have happened. Taking short cuts on something so standard could ultimately result in a safety issue. read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Aaron, Kevin, and Garrett! These poor guys got stuck with helping me and my husband. We had budgeted to purchased wheels and tires for my husbands car, however, we didn't budget for a new set of tires for my car, as I didn't need any until we found a bulge and nail in the same tire. I purchased my tires first, on a Monday, they needed to order them, and the next day they were there. Thankfully, I purchased the warranty, because by that Friday I had a nail in my tire, by that Saturday my tire was replaced. The following Monday we decided on the wheels and tired for my husband's car. We originally purchased a set of KO2's with new Black Rhino wheels, and they test fitted the tires, and they were too large. Aaron and Kevin talked to us about AT options we had and found a perfect set. Fast forward two weeks later, my husband found a screw came out of the wheel, I called and spoke with Aaron, he said "bring your car in and we will get a new screw in there for you". Poor experience here this afternoon. Got in about 5:15 and was the first in line waiting for help. Took the next 10-15 minutes to get acknowledged while each associate that became available ended up taking a phone call. Not sure what page of the customer service manual it says to ignore people waiting In your lobby for phone calls, that's a new one. Eventually got helped, I have a leak in a tire. We go look at it then head back into the store where they tell me it's way too late to do anything since they close in 30 minutes and I need to make an appointment.... for a tire leak. The next available is 2 days away. So at this point I guess I have to make an appointment and take time off work, or hope they have availability on the weekends... just to have a leak looked at??? Doesn't make sense. I bought the tires and even sprung for the certs from this location and had hoped that would count for something. Usually only have good things to say about Discount but maybe just this location is having issues. read more

I don't know who dropped the ball with Discount tire here in Littleton Colorado, but the customer service here is a joke! I'm use to seeing techs in California where they are called America's Tire, and they immediately make you feel noticed, and acknowledge you. "Hey thanks for coming in, we will be right with you." Here in Colorado they look at you, and could give a shit less. The demeanor of their care, was unimpressive, and I can't believe this is the same company. I came in for an air check, and like I usually do I take the valve caps off, and by that time, I would be greeted by a tech. Don't get me wrong I know you guys get busy, but that wasn't the case today. By the time I was done taking my valve caps off, I looked up I saw few tech standing around, while watching a few techs work on a few cars. I must've been standing there for 10 mins before I was greeted and got my air check done. I came in to get my wife's tire flat fixed after she ran over a screw. Was not expecting it to be free of charge! The staff was super friendly on the phone and in person , and despite being a walk in- they were fairly quick- it only took about 40 minutes. They even filled up her spare and put it back. All for a whopping $0! I was so impressed that I will definitely be coming back in the future for other needs. This is the way customer service should be!! read more

They do a great job every time I have come here. they're usually pretty busy and the most recent time I came it was about an hour til they closed. I was worried they wouldn't be able to fit me in, as they told me it would be about a 2hr wait, but they took care of me and it only took about half the estimated time. Kudos to the management as well as I'm sure the high number of cars they cycle in and out can't be easy! The team works hard for sure, and they patched my tire for free (which is not unheard of but it still blows my mind every time).
