I just had one of the best customer service experiences I've had in a very long time at Discount Tire, and it was all thanks to Shawn. From the moment we walked in, Shawn truly listened to us. He took the time to understand the type of driving we do and what we actually needed -- not just what he could sell us. He presented several options, clearly explained the differences, and then gave us a recommendation that was absolutely spot-on for our situation. We didn't even have our warranty information with us, but Shawn went above and beyond by looking up our records in their system. Not only did he find everything quickly, he also made sure we received credit for a tire with a nail in it. That kind of honesty and initiative is rare these days. They took over 20 minutes with no line at all to air check my tires. I came with no one in line and I called to let them know we were outside and then they said someone will be with you shortly and they took a total of 20 minutes from that spot. Unfortunate because I've been a loyal discount tire customer for years. Maybe this is just the worst one yet in terms of service. When I got here no one was behind me. By the time I got serviced a total 6 cars were behind me. Terrible service and needless to say the value is not here. Go to any other discount tire for your tires. Maybe even a different auto shop. Their worker passed us by and just went straight in. I understand he was busy and may be servicing another car, but he said someone will be right with you and then came out to one if not, two other vehicles in the meantime. It wasn't until a lady was rude to him and told him that there are a lot of cars out here waiting that he can help. He was really nice when he did come out, but I just feel like they almost tried to put everybody in line to a back burner which that caused a long line. Total time was 30-35 minutes and he really fixed my tires within two minutes, so. Just felt like they didn't prioritize those vehicles because they weren't revenue generating one in reality. My last two sets of tires I've bought from discount tire so if anything is the local customers that are getting hurt. If it's an understaffing issue then I feel like could do a better job of scheduling. read more

Another top notch experience at this shop which for us has had a near (!) perfect record of good service. In for a winter snow tire swap ($80.00), I arrived early for my 1:15 appt and was assisted by Eric (Erik?) at the counter. What a pro. More on that later. They have an app that tells you the three step progress on the car - its' in the bay, it 's in progress, it's done. Took about an hour total. My summer tires were bagged and loaded in back. They were very busy with appointments and a LOT of walk-ins that apparently have no clue how busy tire stores are as winter begins. It took almost 2 weeks to get in with an appointment! Watching and listening to Eric as he dealt with customers of all kinds was a pleasure. He was personable, friendly, knowledgeable and a good salesman in the best sense of the word. And icing on the cake, the young man that brought me my car asked, 'how did we do today'? (or something to that effect) Five stars. read more

Communication was horrible and cost me almost 2 days without our vehicle. The first time we thought they were patching our tire and when we picked it up (we weren't texted or called) they told us it was repaired. The tire slowly leaked again and I took it back into Discount. This time I was told they couldn't repair the tire because they didn't do the repair the first time. So they either lied to me when I picked up the car the first time or just didn't care and told me the tire was repaired so I would be on my way. I'll never go back to Discount again and will use Costco for all our families tire needs! read more

I tried to have an alignment done on my car at this location I called with five days before To try to make an alignment when I called the guy on the phone told me that I don't need an appointment To just come in and I will get it done I asked him are you sure because I'm trying to come on a Saturday and is going to be busy and he told me told everything is gonna be OK and they will get it done on Saturday with no appointment ! Discount tire not only beat the price from Costco, but they are able to get my tires today. Incredibly helpful staff, very courteous and patient. Sept 19, 2024, in for a new set of tires for the vette. In my prepaid online order totaling about $1000, I noted to please mount the tires so that the valves will be in the same position - sure makes checking and filling air a lot easier. I also verbally told that to the young man at the counter when I dropped off the car. Nope, didn't do it. When I picked up the car late afternoon, both sales guys were busy with people at their stations. A couple more folks came in behind me to wait. They finished with the people in front of them but, then began taking calls instead of helping people STANDING THERE WAITING. That line, with me in front, grew to about 6 people while the counter guys continued to take calls. One long conversation was with some guy who'd ordered lug nuts and, never mind, it was a5-10 minute conversation. Talk about lug nuts... come on guys, really? Once I was told to approach, I had my receipt and keys in under 60 seconds. 20 minute wait for a sub 60 second transaction. I'm glad tires last for years, if this was a store I had to purchase from regularly - no thanks. The online experience, their prices, dropoff process, all good. And their staff is helpful, friendly and polite. == Previously.. I was so happy with this visit, right till the end, then, kapow. A blowout. I needed snow tires rotated back onto our Audi and for my Vette, move a tire from a damaged rim onto a new rim. Very pleased to be told that it would be $30 total (no charge for the tire swap, all our tires come from this store) and done in 45 minutes! But the first thing I told the service writer when he came to me (I'll leave his name out) was, the rear left has a nail in it, leaks and needs repaired. Then I said rotate in the snow tires, swap the other tire/rim, etc. Car comes out right at 45 minutes, a different young man handed me the keys and told me that oh, by the way, one of those tires we removed has a nail it, you should get that fixed. Whaaaaat????? I was so blown away by the lunacy of that, I just took the keys and got in the car and drove away without comment. That they didn't a simple request right, ok, stuff happens. But a tire guy who just had your car for an hour tells you, by the way you have a nail in your tire you should get fixed?? Well at least they marked the nail in the tire. Nice. So, you're in surgery for hours, it's successful, you live, you wake up and the surgeon visits and says, "We replaced your aorta, you're gonna be fine. Oh but, you have a hole in your heart, you really ought to get that looked at". Fortunately they did ask if I wanted to keep the trashed Vette rim, yes, I did (the new one was $380.00 used). I get home and unload and notice they had not moved the center decorative '50th Anniversary' hub center from the old rim to the new one - had I not opted to keep the old rim, that would have cost me dearly. It's a great store, I'll keep doing business there but, wow. That's some f'd up work today. read more

I do not recommend this location at all. As a woman I went in for my tire repair which is a free service and the blonde younger guy at the front desk immediately told me my tires were in need of replacement and he "needed to go over numbers with me". I told him I wasn't going to do anything this month but that I wanted a quote printed for me. I was quoted $960-1050 for four tires for an AWD SUV. I was told these were the lowest cost tires and my only options and was then pressured to get the service done today to which I again said I wasn't buying anything this month (December). After leaving my while my tire repair was getting done I called three other discount tires in the area and they all told me the lowest cost tires are $400-500 and the highest cost ones were the $950-1050 I was originally quoted. When I returned for my vehicle my male fiancée came in with me and asked the same blonde guy how much the cheapest tires were for my car. WITHOUT EVEN LOOKING AT THE COMPUTER he quoted my fiancée $400-500 right in front of me. We call him out and ask why he quoted me the most expensive tires and his excuse was that I was his first customer after his lunch break and he "forgot" he could look at other tire options on his computer. He then shows us his computer and claims the reason he forgot is because the button to check is so small and not noticeable. You guys- it is a huge square button with a big black tire on it in the bottom center of the screen . And again, he quoted my fiancée lower without even looking at the computer. I told him it was bullshit that they quote women higher and they assume we are stupid and easily taken advantage of. I would never recommend anyone go to this location as they clearly try to swindle you. What despicable, evil, heartless and sexist pigs who work there. read more

I ran over a nail and was losing air in my right rear tire. I pulled into Discount Tire and was pleasantly surprised from the word go. I was met with a sign with a meta tag that I merely needed to take a photo of. It automatically brought up form to fill in my name and car type act. It assigned me a number then I simply parked in the lot and waited. Ten minutes later, a masked man pointed me towards a bay. I drove myself in, got out and waited outside. Twenty minutes later, they were done and had me back me car out. Nobody ever got in my car and nobody even got all that close to me. The kicker? They didn't even charge me for the repair. Horrible experience!! Lee was horribly rude. Acted like I was an inconvenience. I need the touch free rotation done to my 2022 F450 Platinum Dually. The wheels are super soft. I told him I wanted a true Dually rotation breaking down all the tires moving the front to the inner rear wheels. He said they could switch out the outer rear with the front. That it would save on labor. I said that's not what I want. That isn't the correct way to do it. I made it clear what I wanted. With no response from him. I called the day before and they said I didn't need an appointment to just bring it by and drop it off. Then Lee proceeded to tell that they had a very full schedule and they would try to fit it in. I left it there. But the more I thought about it the worse I felt about leaving my beautiful expensive truck there. I felt it wasn't going to go well. So I went back and picked it up before they got a chance to mess it up. Lee did not make me feel comfortable that they could do the job well. I won't be going back. Employee who is working on my car right now gives zero effort. He is rude and doesn't seem to care abt his job or doing quality work at all. I had to complain to the manager because he threw tires on my light colored leather seats even though I have a second car to transport them in. Manager didn't seem very concerned about my experience either. ****Updated Edit: Counter representatives Eric and Nick tried to make it better and were very concerned. Manager appeared to speak with the tire technician. One of my lug nuts is completely stripped so I have to go to dealer and buy a new one. Will see how that goes. read more

I brought my car in after getting a flat, the guy I talked to (Lee) just lectured me about driving on a flat tire (duh but I had no other option) for an insane amount of time. He then proceeded to ignore me until my male parter showed up to help. Lee couldn't help us & didn't even look up from his phone to inform us we had to leave the parking lot to put on the spare tire. After all his lecturing, he sent me away driving on a flat. Genius. I came to you for help, sometimes you can't help & that's fine but there's no reason to treat someone like shit. Lee really went out of his way to be rude. It's been a long time since I've had such a terrible customer experience. I took it to Costco tires and they told me I'd have to get 4 new tires (AWD), because the nail was too close to the sidewall and couldn't be repaired. Well before incurring that huge unexpected expense I checked with the EXPERTS at Discount. They had it repaired in less than an hour and didn't even charge me for it . They filled up my tires to the max capacity and the light eventually turned off. Then, the light came back on...I thought okay, my computer system is wonky. Wow. I have been a loyal discount tire customer for over a decade and have rarely had an issue with a location, but this one takes the cake for bad service. I went in to get new wheels and tires mounted. Not only were my brand new wheels badly dinged and scratched, one had a gigantic dent in it and two of them had chewing gum wiped on them. I've added a picture of one of the wheels that had gum on it. On top of that, the service guys do a bad job and the sales men are very condescending. I am surprised more people aren't reporting/reviewing issues like that. I will not be going back to this location, if I even go to a discount tire again. read more

Attentive, knowledgeable, and quick. I came to this place on Martin Luther King Day to get a new set of tires on my car and Discount Tire took good care of me. With it being a holiday, many people decided to show up/walk in which kept the place busy. Regardless of the busy-ness, the staff was attentive and quick. You are welcome to walk in but I recommend scheduling an appointment for quicker service. Brian was the individual who worked with me and he was very helpful - super knowledgeable and not pushy at all. This location will shoot you a text when your vehicle is ready so that you are able to drop off the car and run other errands as needed. They also have free WiFi, magazines, and a mini fridge should you decide to stay and wait. The lobby/waiting area isn't super nice but it'll do. Final note, Discount Tire is doing an $80 rebate if you purchase Good Year tires and Good Year is doing a $60 rebate to go along as well! read more

Free air check service is great, especially after a cold snap makes the tire pressure drop. I always tip the guy a couple dollars which may be $1 more than if I did it myself but saves me from doing it myself. I went in today to Discount Tire due to a leaky tire that wouldn't keep air inside, prior to going to DT, we found what we thought was a staple and the culprit of the leak. My husband thought we would need to get a new (or 2, to keep them even) tire. I met with Robert and he told me they would take a look and see what they could do. Went for a walk as he estimated it would take 45-1 hour and when I came back I received the best news! They were able to fix my tire and I did not have to buy new tires! Best of all, the nail repair was complimentary! We buy our tires here, but even if you don't they will still repair complimentary. I was so thrilled to learn it was fixable and we didn't have to buy new tires on car not even a year old with great tires on it still. Customer service by Robert was top notch. He was thorough, and he explained everything they would be doing to me. He kept me from stressing out and most importantly to me, did not take advantage of my lack of knowledge and try to upsell me on items I didn't need like many places do, or make me feel dumb for not knowing a lot about cars. My husband was equally as happy as usually dealing with the cars is his forte and he was very pleased to hear they were so great to me as he couldn't bring the car in himself. I also had a slow leak in one of my tires...they took great care of me & got us done in around an hour. While the person who waited on me was very friendly my tire did not get fixed nor did they reset the sensors after rotating my tires. Very disappointed as I live 3.5 hrs away in a small mountain town that has no tire repair service. My low tire light didn't come on again until I got home. I told them this too . There comes a time in every person's life where you have to fork over cash for something that wasn't necessarily in your budget. For me, that came in the form of a new set of tires for my Saturn, which has now achieved collector-item status. Woot! To be fair, my BIL warned me a few months ago that my tires were looking a little worn (and he said my clutch was probably slipping, too, a statement I'm going to continue to ignore until the new year.) But after a recent rainstorm, I realized that I was probably risking it with those worn out tires, and decided it was time for some new ones after all. I've been a big fan of Discount Tire since they rescued me from a commuter-related blowout on 1-25 a few years ago, so I had no doubt that's where I'd go. I settled on a set that was about what I paid a few years ago too, with a 55K expected life - so they may end up living longer than my actual car, which is a-ok. They gave me an automatic $25 discount, which is great, but when it's given so easily why not make it a bit higher? Like $50, or $75? Wishful thinking, I know. Anyhow, they quoted me a 45 minute wait which was amazing considering the shop was packed to the gills with other customers. I moseyed over to Lone Star and had a drink and worked on my laptop for about an hour, and the car was ready to go when I got back. In fact, they mentioned that it was done earlier, so they parked it in the back lot. Overall, I'm a fan. I have it on good authority that you can order tires for cheaper online and have them shipped to Discount Tire, where they will do your install. I discovered you need to have a little bit of finesse when doing this (ie. you need to know your car and tire sizing pretty well) but if you have the time and inclination you can probably save yourself some more dough.
