I'm so happy with the attention to detail I get every single time I stop in to my local Discount Tire Store. They are the busiest place every day, yet they take the time to customize the experience, so well worth the wait. I made an appointment to get my tires rotated because the line was so long and was able to get in an out in a really timely manner. I see that every person there has a good quality of customer relations and I was treated like a queen, very respectfully and with good sense. Contrast that with another shop I went to last week where the employees were condesending and rude. If I could give 10 stars, I would! Anyway to give this place a 10? Slow leak and there was no way I could keep driving it. Tire pressure light came on again after I had it checked 2 days ago. It was after 5pm (they close at 6) and they were able to fix it and help me get on my way. I was scared to drive my car and they made it right! There ended up being a nail in the sidewall and I had to get a new tire. Thank you for the coverage on my tires, it's worth it!! $23 for a new tire and I was on my way! Thank you guys so much! So originally I made an appointment for 9 o'clock. I got there at 8:30. They told me they would get me in by 10. I was pissed. But then they get my car done by 9:15. I should be able to trust them to do what they say they're going to do. I asked them to fix the flat and rotate my tires. After I had an appointment, I waited almost an hour to get it fixed and supposedly "rotated". I trusted they did the job and drove all the way home. When I got home, I saw the same driver front tire was in the same spot. I KNOW it was the same tire because we had it marked with a yellow paint marker to mark the flat. Instead of rotating, they just said they did and sent me on my way. I hate that I can't trust them to do their job and my time is valuable. read more

So frustrated with the tires I bought and the defective tire. Came to just replace the back tires but the wait was 3 + hours. Really! Three hours. Guy told me to pull up and someone would come take all my information. Waited 20 minutes and no one showed up. I'd have spent over $700 today at DT but I took my business to another tire business. I took my van to discount tires and had new tires installed, after they had installed them a technician came and said if I had ever seen the tire sensor light on and I told him no. He said the tire sensor was broken and had probably broke before I took it to them. They wanted to charge me to replace it and I am pretty sure one of their techs broke it. They actually have a call center which allows their reps to take as much time as needed in assisting their customers over the phone without interrupting the guys at the facility who are trying to get the work done. So coming from a family of tire repair owners and having worked in a tire shop for many years. It should and cannot take this long for a basic flat repair. I have literally been here for 57 minutes. I cannot imagine if I was getting a new set of tires or rotate and balance. But it literally has taken over an hour for this repair. But the non surprising thing is every time I have had to visit a Big O Tire or Discount this is the norm. I guess I'm a bit spoiled from experiencing working in a family tire business and making sure our customers were in and out quickly. We provided fast service and guaranteed work. Those days seem to be gone as far as showing initiative. I should of expected this I guess. Got a flat on the way to work, filled it up thanks to my handy air tank I keep in the back seat. We crawl into the parking lot and see a lot of mechanics running around but none of them tell me where to park or even acknowledge me. By the time I guess where I can park and make my way inside some guy named Mike comes out and asks me to park in the parking behind the garage. He looks at the tire with his Guage and brings me inside. I asked him to also fill up my now empty air tank and he refuses. Mike gives me this excuse of special air pressure gages they use that prohibits then from filing up air takes. I knew he was lying to me when I could see their pressure air hoses. Plus filing up a 60 lb tank is just like putting air in a tire. Well I don't care about the tank but I really just want to go to work already 40 minutes Late. Now I'm just sitting in the lobby watching all the staff run to help the paying customers. (I would pay for the flat if they hustled for me the way they do for the paying customers). Wait, they just pulled my truck in... Let's see if they can redeem their self... Just staring down Mike in the lobby...comfortable chairs here... looks like they have coffee for the paying customers. A nice cup of Joe would be great after my morning with a flat, o well. Haven't seen one smile yet or ounce of customer service. Keeping up hope for this staff mabye they will wow me. No one working on my truck yet but it's in the garage. One step at a time right? It's an hour now that I have been here, 3 customers down I'm still here... While I'm waiting her I'm wondering why he asked me for my address and phone number to fix a flat anyway? O well there goes another customer, I'm still here. Then when I reminded them I was here they rushed my work order only to tell me that my right front tire was fine. No nail. It was the rear left. Attempted to get a flat tire fixed on my fifth wheel backed the rig in because the parking lot did not allow for a complete turnaround the worker wanted us to pull back out of the driveway and pull back in doing a 90° turn to line our RV up into their bay which was possible but anyone who drives A fifth wheel with a triple axel knows that the tires will roll it's not the best option so we left without getting our tire fixed and had to call AAA we became customers at discount tire because there is no less Schwab east of Reno Nevada after spending over $1200 on tires this is the service we get! if it was less Schwab they would drive out to wherever your flat was and fix the tire for you discount tire sucks. Put a call into the regional office let's see where that gets us HORRIBLE customer service! read more

I had flat tire and went there, they fixed it with no charge. I had under sized tires on my pathfinder and they would not fix my flat the next time at all even if I wanted to pay them. They operate on very strict rules there, most of the time you will have to wait and deal with all the safety rules they follow. I still bought a tire for my wife's car on 2/27/15. Customer service can be hit or miss, but it is a tire place, unless I'm blonde with a 36dd pulling in your not gonna get an all star service at any tire shop I know of. Overall it is clean and professional for this two horse town. I wish I could rate the drivers in this town but yelp doesn't give negative stars. I like the store overall, they could be friendlier than they are, been this way since the store opened it probably ain't gonna change either. Hope my review helps someone read more

I went in to buy new tires for one of my trucks, I've been buying tires from these guys for over 15 years! This was the worst experience ever! The tire I wanted and have on a couple other trucks wasn't in stock, Ez (the store clerk) was amazing showing me different sizes and tire types. But really what I wanted was what was proven to us and wore well. He said to try a different tire for the weekend and if I didn't like it to bring it back and they would install the others at no cost, so I did. I didn't like the ride or performance and took it back to get the tires replaced. I know this must have cost the store money but it wasn't my idea. EZ wasn't at work and I had to deal with a different guy. I felt bad and even looked at some rims to buy to try and help make up their loss. The whole experience was unpleasant and unprofessional, to top it off he (Chris) the store manager had to be reminded he owed me money back because the tires that I wanted were cheaper!!! Ugh!!! And I sat there fo 20 minutes as my truck was there and ready,,,, no phone call no text!!! I just took $80 in store credit and left!!!! Worst experience ever!!! Big 0 and Walmart are right around the corner and Albuquerque isn't far away either!!! Nobody respects the business anymore!!!! read more
