I took my car and asked them not to Max. The credit that I had they maxed out the credit and then some. None of the work fixed the problem. I think they just fixed whatever they could to change me the maximum amount. I took the truck back, was promised a new sensor and that my issues would be fixed. They did not install the sensor and the tire light is still on. I am questioning if they even did the work. I don't even ha e windshield wiper fuild...for 3200!!! Blew a tire while travel thru Los Lunas to Texas. First customer at 7a, manager said "tires should be ready just after 10a" (had to order from warehouse) Swung back in at 10:30a, manager said they weren't on the delivery truck. "I'm sending someone now- 30 mins And we'll get you on your way." another 90 mins later I was still waiting. I do not recommend this Big O and will not be returning. Had tires swapped back to stock tires. On the way home the tire fell off! Thankfully nobody was injured. Called Big -O, they advised they would call tow truck and get us back to shop. After long wait, not hearing back on tow info and dealing with two kids they sent down to "help" by jacking up the truck; to do what, I don't know.(mind you, the truck landing spot was at a slant and in water) I contacted a tow srvc myself, tired if waiting on them. Due to the damage that was created he needed flatbed, it had to be left overnight. I never got any acknowledgement on the tow Big O supposedly set up. Big-O basically says "oh, we'd never do that! BUT, we will replace what has been damaged." Well, they only want to replace tire and "ya we will replace the rim." The rim they replaced did not contain the sensor and state there was not one in the damaged one. Well, they were the original stock tires, and they all come with one. They state that the tire falling off could NOT have caused damage to rotar, breaks, tie rod end, balance or anything else but tire n rim. Not sure who actually falls in what order in their chain of command, have dealt with a different person everytime; Carlos, Gilbert, Jeime and a few others. Spoke to them last today, as we are still waiting for the rim. "We have not had to deal with people like you before, we are tired of you. We are going to let the manager know HOW you are!" ....? HOW we are? Anyway, I thanked them for doing so.. "FINALLY! (Even tho on previous occasions all three above were said to be management) please do, will this be the shift? general manager? owner? Jotting contact info-again, please provide them with mine AND insurance co info with claim #. We would like our deductible back as well, since we had to use insurance to repair truck. So we would appreciate contact all the way around.. Thank you again.." This happened around 5pm 2/5/22, and its still not over. By any means, I am not 'Karen', but I would have never expected this service/response from such a long time - well known franchise. I do not and will never recommend Big O. Everytime we go to Big O we are always taken great care of. From oil changes to installation of new tires. They all do great work

We needed new headlights for our Jeep. We checked around for prices and they were very reasonable. We made an appointment and got in quickly considering they had to order our headlights and we wanted them upgraded to a brighter light. We got the car back in a timely manner and didn't drive after dark for a few days. When we did drive after dark we couldn't see the road as well as before one headlight went out. We took it back and explained what we were seeing. They had us bring the car back the next late afternoon and they closed the doors to the work area of the shop. Immediately they discovered the lights were not aligned correctly. They reset the alignment of the lights and they are fantastic!! We were treated as valued customers and the correction was made with no hassle or doubt. I am taking all my auto needs, that they handle, to them. Customer beware. Have taken our cars here before and never had a problem but in ALL cases we dealt with Jaimie. Had my 80+ year old mother take my truck down for an oil change. Jaimie was not in so she left it. They called her back and told her she needed to replace the rocker arm, ball joints and upper control arm. Not so funny part, we just had them replaced two weeks prior. Big O is pretty reliable overall but they are mostly independently owned so you can run into places like this where they will take advantage an 80 year old customer. Please do not take your vehicle here. Went in for an oil change. Informed the mechanic that I was setting off for a long road trip by myself and would be traveling through the hottest part of the country (Needles/Mojave Desert-mind you, it's July) and could they please do a check on fluids, etc. Got the oil change (I think), drove it to a friend's the next day. He insisted on rechecking it for me. The brake/transmission fluid was almost gone, and the coolant was very low. What did they do? I don't know. I didn't mark my oil filter to see if it was replaced. The oil was somewhat clean, so I wasn't so sure. Just know that I trusted them and my car was definitely not road worthy after leaving this place. read more

This place used to be good, but my mom recently went in for an oil change. When she got home it was leaking oil. She took it back and they said it was fine, that the oil well was too full. It kept leaking so she took it to her mechanic. There was oil all over the motor and he said the oil filter was faulty. He said it's a good thing she noticed or she could have blown her motor. Also, she had marked one tire prior to a rotation. The tire with the mark was still in the same spot, same side. Tires had not been rotated. We will not be going back. Big O your customers are not stupid, quit treating them as such. You lost 2 long time customers. read more

I had an awful experience interior in my car in grease in addition all four of my rims were scratched with a paint taken off! And jime did not want to do anything about it or to make it right for me. I will never go there again very disappointed and hopefully people know that they will not take care of you if they do wrong! read more

I went in because my break pads needed to get replaced. I asked if they could take a look at my drums. The guy told me I didn't have drums and tried selling me brand new rotors, and the estimate came out to $500 and he said he'd give me a $20 coupon. I took my car to brake masters and they told me I had plenty of metal left in my rotors and that I do have drums. Big o tires tried selling me a bunch of stuff I didn't even need... I'll never go back there again and not only that but the staff was extremely rude as if I didn't know what I was talking about. Brake masters didn't even charge me $200 for everything! read more

Went in to Big O to get tires balanced and rotated. Had a coupon to do for free so Anthony took coupon and was very friendly and professional with me even though I wasn't paying as I had a coupon. Anthony asked me if there was anything else and I said yes if I can use the other coupon for oil change which he replied yes you can. I've been a loyal customer of Big O Tires for years. I recently referred a family member to the Los Lunas Big O store. I'm sorry to say that my family member did not have a good experience. The crew that worked on their vehicle managed to damage all four wheels/rim's durring the installation of new tires. The crew also left the steering wheel and door handles greasy. In the end the manager would only offer a credit of $100. With that in mind, to replace one wheel would cost over $140.00. So to offer $100.00 is an insult to say the least. I've purchased Big O brand tires for both my vehicles within the last year, year and a half. Each occasion my experience was less than satisfactory. On one vehicle, they scratched the chrome wheel caps on each wheel. However I was able to polish most of the scratches out. As for the tire, not bad for the price. When I pointed out the scratches on the chrome wheel covers to the manager he didn't seem too concerned nor was there an a appolgy. Needless to say I stopped going to that Big O store. A short time after, I decided to visited the Los Lunas NM Big O store, and ended up purchasing 4 Big O brand for my truck. The crew that worked on my truck managed to get black grease on my door handles and steering wheel. Lastly, I've had to take the truck back on several occasions to get the tires ballanced. I even went so far as to visiting a different Big O in the next Town. That store did a little better. However, they couldn't ballance the tires either. They were however, able to keep from smearing grease on my steering wheel and door handles. So that was nice for a change. Having said that I will never recommend/refer family or friends ever again. Nor will I do business with Big O at any location ever again. It's simply not worth the time, money or hassle to go out of my way to request that the crew keep from getting grease on everything they touch. Moreover, I don't like having to get into a debate over how they damaged my wheels as well as failing to balance my tires. I recommend choosing a different tire/store other than Big O. When they first opened they were really good, a while back the store owner a female charged me 237.00 for work done incorrectly, refused to fix really shoddy work, the main mechanic tried to tell her I was right. I used to take my five cars there for work to be done cuz I was lazy, I am a mechanic myself so I know what the heck is going on, the female owner acts like she knows, but not really. I stopped going there, I told my wife's company to change from there and I avoid it like the opened gates of hell. If you go there I'm sorry you did not read any reviews. Yelp could not find it, so I added it. So buyer beware. I think word has gotten around town anyway, because a lot of other customers have had some bad stories from there also.
