Went to this location on a Saturday and waited 15 min for the sales guy up front to finish waiting on a customer. I'm well aware that discount always has a long wait time and I was prepared but after 15 min of waiting without being acknowledged I had to leave when a female customer walked in and was helped immediately upon walking through the door. I went down the street to a local tire shop and had my car on the rack in less than 5 min. I suppose I could chalk it up to being overlooked, but when there is only one other person in the showroom area that's kind of a stretch. Will probably never buy tires from discount tire again. Just terrific. I'm a ditz when it comes to refilling the air in my tires, so I drive over there and they do it for me. And, of course, that kind of service earns my business when I need tires. By far the best experience I've ever had at a tire place and a great customer service experience aside from that. The guy who helped me was not only courteous, prompt and kind, but helped me through an entire lugnut debacle with the Mercedes dealership and spoke to my parents on the phone about payment. It was actually kind of fun! To top it off, when they couldn't get the new tire for a few days, he replaced it with a "loaner" free of charge on the condition that I didn't put too many miles on it. Very friendly service. I usually know exactly what I need so these guys are happy to help, and go the extra mile. Tom the manager is very good to work with. When I replaced the tires on my Jeep, he offered to store my old ones until I could come pick them up a few days later. When I come in for a balance/rotate, they remember me and my car and make sure to do the specific 5-wheel rotation I requested and air the tires to exactly 29 lbs. This is the Discount Tire to go to when you need new tires. The staff are all pleasant to deal with and welcome you the moment you walk in the door. I've tried stopping at their other location on McClintock and Southern on a few occasions and they are not the same. It's worth driving the few extra miles to receive great and super speedy service. Worst place every! Come in early morning for a tire rotation, manager says it's only 4 cars in front of me and 2 we're being worked on already. It's 8:45am an hour later 4 more cars have been pushed in front of my car and it's now almost 10am and my car still has not been worked on! Happens every time i come here, pushing black customers to the back of the line! Save your money and go somewhere else! read more

What a GREAT staff this Discount Tire has. We barely got in the parking lot before Johnathan ran to assist us. Then another gentleman named Red came over as well. We had a bolt in our tire and they took care of it and we were thanked for coming in and we were ready to go. This took all of 10 minutes. Every time we go in there it's always the same. I dealt with both the manager and another gentleman and they were both very professional and helpful. Price was only slightly higher than COSTCO. But Discount Tires was more convenient. Can't argue with the price and the warranty is a plus, but please don't try and Buffalo me with upsale tactics. I went there to get one new tire. Had just recently replaced my others not long before. Therefore when the sales rep tried to tell me my one back tire was bad and a "danger" to drive on; when the tire was under six months old was pretty shady to say the least. I know enough about tires to know when the tread is bad, which is why I waited to replace the last one. However, by telling me a tire that is less than 6 months old needs replaced and is a "danger" as method to try and make a few more bucks worth of sales will be a good way to get a customer to take their business elsewhere. I'll be back for tires in the future but spare the upselling. read more

I have been bringing my car here for the past 3 years i wont be again. The last time i went in just to get my tires rotated they told me my front alignment was off and my tires were baulding just on the outside and they were dangerous i would have to buy new tires. When he looked up my account he remarked it was weird cuz im in there like clockwork for service. Then said he would help me out and the total for everything would be $162 and they would fix me up making it sound like they were fixing the alignment too. When they brought me my keys i asked so the problem is fixed and they said i would still have to fix my alignment so i thought maybe they don't do alignments. When looking up where i could go discount tire popped up. That made me think as much as im in there they couldnt tell my tires were baulding until they were so bad i needed new ones. And every time something happens to my tire and its under warranty and they have to replace the tire for free, magically they dont have my tire and i have to buy the upgraded one. They are liars and will rip you off. I will be taking my loyal buisiness somewhere else from now on. read more

My tire blew, he could have charged me for a new tire but he gave me a credit for my tire (which was relatively new but I didn't even buy there!) and only charged for the balance to retain us as customers. He went above and beyond what he needed to. He also assessed my tires and made us a two-for-one offer, again to keep our business...but was still open to suggesting that we shop around! Why bother? I stopped in at 8:30 this morning to repair/replace a flat tire. I was quoted 45 minutes to a hour and decided to walk across the street and wait at Starbucks. I let Edgar know and told him I could be reached by phone if they needed my consent to replace it. After an hour passed I walked back to find my car still hadn't been touched. It's now 9:45 and they are finally pulling my car in. After a quick 2 minute inspection Edgar tells me they have to replace the tire. When I asked for the price he said not to worry, they would take care of it. Just happens they were replacing it with a tire that is .5 in taller and wider than the rest. So you're telling me that a tire store doesn't carry tires for a standard 2015 Honda Civic? That I am unable to purchase the correct tire? Not only does having different size tires on the car affect handling but the axel and wear of the tires. I asked Edgar to write a statement saying that Discount Tire would take full responsibility for any damage done to my car due to mismatched tires and he insisted on a report stating my car was in perfect running condition. Once I notified him I had an inspection report from AZ Collision Center from last month stating the car had no issues he dropped the subject and wrote the statement. Guess he didn't think I could come up with the paperwork. On top of my quote time running over, and the hassle of making sure they guarantee their work provided, Edgar insisted I come back for them to fix a problem caused by another company. Guess next time I see someone asking for a full refund when I walk in because they missed a nail in someone else's tire, I should take the hint and walk out. FYI, free work is usually cheap work. Always go with someone who understands what they are doing even if it costs more. read more

if you dont get your tire needs filled by discount tire, you are not getting the most for your money. i will not go to any other tire service station again, ever. i have custom wheels, with wide, low profile tires, and discount always has my tires in stock. if i get a screw , or nail in my tire, i go to discount and they fix it. if im going on a road trip, i stop at discount before i go, and have them give my tires a look-see, and they are happy to do it. the guys at discount never hesitate to look at my tires, and just tell me what they think. honestly, and knowledgebly. never try to sell me more than i need. i love discount tire. and so will you. read more

I recently had to take my Nissan in to get new tires. While they are very nice and professional at this location the wait time is very long. They only have 3 spots for cars so its probably due to that but as much as I like this company I have to give them less stars because of the long wait time. All in all my experience with them was pleasant. Had taken my truck there for a rotation/balance and to my surprise it was free (apparently since 2 of my tires were from them). My only complaint was that when they pulled my truck out of the bay they parked it against the back wall which normally... no problem... but this time.. they couldn't have timed it any worse. There delivery guy (HUGE Semi) was backed in preventing me from being able to back out my truck... next thing you know ANOTHER delivery truck pulls in waiting to unload as well. I spoke with the second truck driver and told him i need to get out. He was super sweet and went to talk with the first driver (who was inside the store getting signatures or who knows what) they backed the Semi rig up as far as they could and then assisted me to back into the street. I think next time their guys should be more aware of the time and if they know deliveries are being made,.... DONT PARK PEOPLE WHERE THE TRUCKS UNLOAD! Common sense right? read more

Called and made an appointment to get my tire repaired. When I went there, the receptionist/salesman went outside to look at my tire which had a slow leak and was not fully inflated. He then said they could not repair it because it was too worn and was dangerous. He then went into a hard sales pitch about getting a new tire. My car has less than 25,000 miles. Obviously, if a tire is not fully inflated, the tread will look shallower. Waste of time, will never go back there or any discount tire again. I really like how they take you outside so they can lay the sales pitch on outside of the other customers earshot. Also, I can't be 100% sure but I think he put in a nail while I wasn't looking (it was magically in my direct line of view and was glinting in the sun and looked very clean) . Stay away from these crooks! They didn't even bother to try filling my tire with air. Good thing I have my own inflator. read more
