Kinda ghetto at this location. I go here to get my tires pumped up,and even that requires hearing mexican music.

As soon as I walked up I was greeted by Mike, he was really nice and seemed like he was in a good mood which is refreshing. I just needed a little air in my tires which I told him and he didn't even make me go inside he told me to pull my car around and then Matt filled up my tires happily. I spoke to another guy there but I can't remember his name he was really nice too! Super fast, super friendly, great service... And it was free! This was probably my worst experience at a discount tire EVER! I've been coming to discount tire for 8 years and the service at this location was a complete dumpster fire. The guy helping me had no idea what he was doing or what he was looking for. Which I understand you are new and it's a learning curve but his team members should be helping him and not tell him to figure it out when dealing with a customer. Once he figured out what to look for he was completely ignoring the information I was giving him about my car and head to go look at my car when I gave him all of the proper information. When he finally put the information in he sold me 4 tires and when i went to pay he said he didn't have the tires he sold me in stock. All and all the service at discount tire falls flat and the only reason I stopped at this location cause it's right next to my work. I should of risked my tire exploding in order to get great service at the other location closer to my house and college. read more

I love these guys!! For 6 years they have never failed me. Really friendly service at all of the 4 locations I've been to so far and they always have a solution! This was a frustrating experience all the way around. Slow, changed their price at checkout, and not very friendly. I showed up with two trailer tires and waited 15 minutes for service while 1/3 employees behind the counter helped another customer. They were very unorganized- it was another 15 min before I could leave due to having to go out and show them the tires and going back in to give them the info they should have gotten the first time I was in there. I showed up 5 hours later and my tires were still not done. I went the next day to pick up the tires and what I was told would be a $220 bill was almost $280. It was bad business and I will not be back. Royce City tire and Archer care care are close convenient and don't Bait and switch when they are trying to sell you something. read more

Such amazing Customer Service!!! I was driving from Houston to Dallas for a meeting when I ran over a nail, I was able to locate a Discount Tire a few miles from where my appointment was. Although there were many ahead of me in line when I arrived, i explained my dilemma and driving in for a meeting and was on a time crunch, I was offered a ride to my location and so graciously picked up afterwards. I've been a customer of Discount Tire for 15+ years. Unfortunately, this last experience was not acceptable. My front left tire had a hole from driving through a construction site and couldn't be repaired. I was told my front right tire needed to be replaced soon too. I only had enough money for one tire but I was convinced to come up with the money for a second tire, so I did. My tires were ordered online and delivered to the store the next day. I called the store three times because I never received a call back by the various times I was quoted. They never contacted me once they received my new tires. The last time I called, I was told my car would be done in 5 minutes. Meaning they received my tires and chose not to contact me. Once I returned to pick up my car, I was told my two right tires were replaced instead. When I originally spoke to the manager, he informed me that the front two tires needed to be replaced and never mentioned an issue with a back tire. So they left my front left tire on the car and replaced my back right tire instead. From my understanding that tire did not need to be replaced nor was it ever brought up to me. I went from thinking I needed to replace ONE tire....to THREE tires. And since they've already taken my back tire off of my car without letting me know, there is no way for me to know if it actually needed to be replaced. I feel robbed. This was a horrible experience! read more

Update: I had to take off two stars because I came in when my car low tire pressure went off. I had an appointment and came in, thinking a slow leak or something since it's summer weather. The guy checks my tires and tells me the air pressure is fine but that TWO (not one but TWO) tire sensors went bad at the same time and could be replaced at $60 PER TIRE, and would be about 90 minutes. I confirmed that the air pressure was fine and leave because I was not planning on dropping $120+. Fast forward a month and I get a legit flat tire (nice screw in it). All my tires have warranty from discount tire so I make another appointment and come in to have it repaired. Part of the service includes refilling all your tires with air and so on. As I drive away, I realize my low tire light is off. It's been two weeks and it's still off. So I'm pretty sure the original guy was trying to rip me off $120, since refilling the air fixed the problem. Be cautious with what they tell you if it isn't obvious. I am super disappointed and wish I had that guy's name. Everyone else there has always been amazing though and does a great job. read more

I arrived around ten a.m. on a Thursday morning for a rotation/balance. It took THREE HOURS! This was about six months ago. I will never go back to this location. Today I went to the Discount Tire at 1638 S. Buckner in Dallas. Had same work done in ONE HOUR. Plus, they said I had a cross-threaded lug nut - the nut wasn't even the size that goes on my wheels! He said whoever worked on the tires last put on the wrong size lug nut and destroyed the stud. I told him the last place that worked on it was (you guessed it) the Discount Tire on Galloway in Mesquite. After a few minutes, Jose came out and said that Discount Tire would pay to have the stud replaced. Next door to this location is a brake shop: they had fixed it (FOR FREE) in about 15 minutes. Trust me, don't go to the Galloway location. Drive a little farther to the Discount Tire on South Buckner. read more

I arrived at this location at 3 pm and purchased 4 new tires. I was told that they would need to pick one up from another store but they would do it then. I asked how long they thought it would take and he quoted me an hour and a half. I explained that I needed to be out of there as soon as possible because I had tickets to a game. He said "You will have your keys in your hand by 4:45." At 4:25 my car still had not moved from where I parked. I asked him about it and he said I was next. I watched them pull my car in. The tire techs love their job. They were laughing, and dancing and just kidding around. They worked on my car a bit and then it just sits there. After 10 minutes of no one on my car, I ask about it again. The guy walked out and came to tell me they didn't have the tires and that the porter had just left to go get my tires. He stated that their Assistant Vice President had just shown up unannounced so they couldnt leave before then. This was 15 minutes passed the time they said I'd have my car back. He offered me to reschedule because 2.5 hours in there wasn't already enough I guess. Then he offered to refund 2 of the tires that hadn't been put on, which would have left me with unmatching tires. I ended up waiting but I can tell you I will never be back to this location again. read more

Highly recommend this store! Bought my tires from this location last year... they are the best! Between tire rotations and a nail in my tire two separate times they have been very courteous and helpful. Came in today to have a leaky tire checked and found the tire rotation was due. Tire fixed and tire rotation/balancing...in and out within an hour! From the young man who did the free air check, to the gentleman who worked up my order, to the young man who brought me my car... all with a smile and a thank you! I called before i came here and spoke to MIKE and asking how much they charge for patching my tire and he said it was FREE, then when i came there NICK was charging me for 12.50/ tire, i said i spoke to mike and said it was free, then he just ignored me then we walk out to my car and i mentioned it again and he said it was a joke, if i didnt mentioned it they would get my 12.50, so beware of this scammers.. read more

Won't ever go to this location again. Tire light was on, guy comes out put a machine to each tire with no other inspection, resets and says I'm good to go. As a single mom, I trusted that what he said was true. Today, took it in for some maintenance and the dealership tells me I have a nail in my tire that's why my light was on. Bad enough to do it to any customer but as a single mom I need to be able to trust a reputable place. Really disappointed. read more

So, I take my 2016 Infiniti to the dealership for an oil change and tire rotation - which I had a coupon for) and my tire pressure light was on. So I asked them to check that. The Infiniti dealership told me that I had a slow leak in one tire that was not repairable because it was on the shoulder and asked me if I wanted to replace the less than 13,K miles tire at the cost of $258 without road protection insurance. I told them no, since I was sure I could get a tire cheaper and with insurance for those roadside conditions. So they put the tire back on the car and sure enough it was a slow leak. Three weeks later the tire pressure light comes on again and I called Discount Tire to find out the cost of the same brand of tire. They gave me a price even tho less than the dealership's price, was a bit a strain for my pocket. Here's the good part The Rep at DT (I didn't get his name) told me to bring the car in and it might NOT need a new tire and that they would fix the flat free anyway. At first I really didn't believe that they would fix the flat free and not try to sell me a new tire. BUT they did just what they said they would. I went there after work about 30 minutes before DT's closing _ and it seemed like everybody else did as well. They checked out the tire which showed a visible flat head nail sticking in it - said that they could repair it and DID. Gave me an invoice for $0. As i was sitting in the waiting area reading signs and such, I noticed that they offered this service to everyone. The service was spot on and the technicians stayed past their 6:00p ending time to make sure that everyone that came into the store was service - and even one guy that showed up after 6pm. Truly exceptional service from the first call to the final invoice. Couldn't be happier with my repaired less than 13K miles tire. Thank you guys! read more
