Don't put your grandma in a car they work on. I purchased rear rotors ans brakes in February 2025 and within a MONTH the brakes start to make noise. Very loud squeeking and it's non stop. Went back and I was told I needed to wash my car b/c when they drove it around the block 2 times there was nothing wrong with them. The sound is pearcing and annoying. Their 6 month guarantee expires next month and they refuse to fix the problem. These bumbs took over $600, purchased the cheapest brakes and put them on my car! Mixed feelings about DT. Staff attentive, knowledgeable and responsive. But marred paint job on wheels that had been recently done. Was very pleased on timing and scheduling of tire replacement, and the texts to let me know the progress of the replacement - they've integrated the IT component nicely. Ordered set of tires, 3 came in, 4th delayed. They finally called me on a Sat morning and said it arrived and if I get there in 30min they can get me right in. Got there in 30min, spent like 15min at counter while employee tried to figure out the computer. Finally gets it, and tells me it'll be 2.5 hours!! When truck was done, I drive home and TPMS shows that they put 60psi front and 80psi rear (correct) on passenger side, but reversed it 80psi front and 60psi rear on driver side (incorrect). Verified with pressure gauge. This is FOURTH time out of last 5 that they've screwed up - twice they broke tpms, once found most of the balance weights had fallen off during 10 mile drive home, and now can't even get pressures right.. Been coming here since this location first opened. Place has gone downhill over last couple years. Now taking my 6 vehicles and 4 trailers (45 tires) elsewhere. read more

I have been going to this location in Monument for years to get my tires on a number of different vehicles. I've always gotten a great set of tires and good service for a reasonable price. I tend to have vehicles that take off-size tires, so getting a full set for under $1000 has been considered a bargain! I recently purchased tires for my Ford Flex for a great price and wrote a much less than stellar review when they put on an alternate size from what I previously had on the vehicle because they were in-stock and readily available. It took several weeks and phone calls to get replacement tires for the same price in the appropriate size (they have a nice 30 day guarantee), and then the new set had 3 out of 4 valves leaking the next day. Oy. When we got all that fixed, I have been an exceptionally happy with my tires and the quality for the price and a great smooth ride. Management knew that I was frustrated and I had been through more than a month of hassle and disruption in snowy weather with the tire fiasco, so they reached out to me and offered a very generous refund of part of my purchase! I went to this location to shop for new tires for my Honda CRV. I had purchased very noisy tires 6 years ago from another dealer, and I wasn't going to make that mistake again. Kyle was extremely helpful, and he showed me the ratings system on the computer for the tires that they had in stock. I searched this system until I found the tires that I thought would work best for my car. I made the appointment for the next day. I arrived on time, and within 10 min the car was in the garage getting new tires and new wiper blades. They estimated it would take 1 hour, and it took about 1 hour. Excellent customer service, excellent products. The only bad part of the visit was the recommendation for Brakes Plus down the street to do the alignment. Absolute worst experience at Brakes Plus, but that's not Discount Tire's fault. I purchased Yokohama YK-CTX tires, and that day they were tested on snowy/icy roads and handled well. Experience was average to mediocre. Went in for a seasonal change. They over inflated my tires and did not calibrate the TPMS. When I left, the TPMS indicator came on which is ironic because on the receipt envelope it has a paragraph dedicated to what the TPMS means and if it comes on you should come in and get it checked out. They also lost two of my air valve caps and gave me some fugly metal ones which are mismatched from the other two. Also, they talked me into a wiper blade change which is fine but they didn't have the passenger side one. They still charged me for it and I haven't heard from them as of yet about it. It's been about 10 days. I can't imagine it being too difficult to get one either from another store or shipped. read more

It is a converted Tahoe to an Escalade "escahoe" done out of her pleasure because she likes cars..She told me all she got to see was workers snickering over her car because it wasn't to there liking..Pretty girl comes in to get her car worked on and she gets bs from a bunch of high school Teenagers working on her car. we won't be back. This is the second issue we have had here along the same lines had the same problem a couple years ago on my beater car I drive on the side because I have a f350 and drive a fuel saver and they were snickering over that too... what if that was someone's hard earned car and they didn't have money for something fancy. Got to my appointment 30 minutes early, they helped me right away and even got me out of there in less than an hour. Most likely will be bringing my new wheels here when I get them. We were about 3 miles out when we got a flat on Christmas Eve. I looked up the closest Discount Tire. We safely made it here. They were closing by 1 pm but thankfully it was 11:30 am. Izzy immediately helped us. He was super nice. Our tire was toast -it had Two nails and a staple in it. It could have been so much worse. DT replaced the tire within 30 minutes and even gave us a Military Discount (we are both military). You could see how efficient and nice everyone that worked there was. They had it together. Most recent visit I needed a new tire due to there being a nail in the sidewall and they were able to get me a matching tire and out the door within an hour. I scheduled a time to get my tires replaced on my minivan, however a snow storm came in early and I couldn't get my van out of my neighborhood with the bald tires. I called and let them know I couldn't make it in that day. They were very friendly and told me it was fine I could come in whenever. They did warn to come first thing in the morning if I could, because the snow inspired a lot of people to get new tires. Sure enough 4 days later when I could get in I showed up before they opened and still was 12th in line. They were prepared for the rush though and within 15 minutes my van was checked in and I headed to work. They were still catching up on a backlog from the previous day, but they got the new tires on by noon. I picked it up after work and was on the road within 5 minutes of arriving. The tires I got are mud and snow rated since that's required on I-70 now. They have fantastic traction in the snow. Discount Tire gave a great price on them too, name brand but nearly half the price of some competitors. read more

They were out of stock and discontinued. Why would you let customers place an order for an item you never plan on having in stock? Dominic was very helpful and said he would be able to get me the Blizzak tires for the same price. Awesome. Two weeks later, I have called three times for updates the tires are not ready for my appointment. This morning I called again and they said they could not do the Blizzaks for the same price. This has probably been one of the worst customer experiences in my life. No one kept me up to date of my order status and then they went back on their word. I had two horses in my horse trailer it's 80 plus degrees outside when I noticed I had a low tire I pull into discount tire and there's the RV in the place where you get free tire checks. I asked if somebody could help me, they said no the manager said it would be 45 to an hour wait just to get air in my tire so they were going to make my horses wait in a hot horse trailer because they didn't want to move the RV. The gentleman that had the RV was more than happy to move it while I got air in my low tire so I could be on my way. I had lived in many states while in the military. All had Discount Tires where I have purchased over 12 sets of tires, principally from this and the Colorado Springs stores. With every set of tires being from Discount Tire it amazing me how they can say gouges on the interior inside of the aluminum wheel were caused by someone else. Additionally wheels are usually balanced in the same place due to manufacturing anomalies. This Discount Tire never clears off the adhesive from previous balancing requiring the next technician to move weights further inboard or fore and aft. Tercel weights per wheel seem excessive. YOU CAN HAVE IT CHEAP OR GOOD OR FAST BUT NOT ALL. At Discount Tire you get cheap, if that's your sole criterion than shop Discount Tire, if not try another tire store, you get what you pay for. AVOID IF YOU HAVE EXPENSIVE WHEELS OR ARE A GEAR HEAD! read more
