    Look at the tread of a tire for the front tires

    February 01 2021 I was there for a 4 brand new tires I paid 328 for it but today I just checked my 2 tires front tires look brand new but 2 rear tires why is look old and the tread of a tires are gone don't it supposed to look the same because all 4 tires is brand new so any answer why?

My sisters, mom and brother in law have been coming to Discount Tires for years and I can see why. They recommended this place to me. I'll explain more below, Discount tire was cheaper overall in comparison with other nearby tire shops for the same tires including the above fees, Discount tire was cheaper then Pepboys, Walmart. It was not however cheaper than Sears (due to a $30 higher rebate offer at the time of my purchase) or Costco.... I provided Craig, one of the workers here with the Sears quote and he was able to match that offer. Keep in mind they will need proof of a quote to match it. However, compared to Costco... if you wish to purchase the certificate (warranty of tires up-to thread life which includes replacement or refund of tire if it's unfixable), they are not able to match this. But costco only covers up to 2 years while Discount will offer 3 years. Also, costco does not cover tire damage from potholes, construction etc while discount tire does. One other bonus is that the wait time is usually less compared to Costco for air, rotation, balance. Overall, they are able to match all nearby tire shops in prices including installation. In comparison to costco, there is a discrepancy in price and I would say I paid $20-$25 more at discount tire but got the added benefit of one more year of "warranty" which includes damage due to road hazards. I came here to fix my mom's flat tire due to a nail. This time Jesus helped me out and he was very kind and helpful. He is straightforward about what he sees wrong with the tire and if it's repairable or not. They DO NOT do wheel alignments, brake service, suspension repair.

    They're good place to if you ever need new tires. I had nail in my tire and they fixed right up. They're good and dependable.

Easy peasy! They even were so kind as to place the one scratched up rim on the back of my car (thank you guys!) without my asking and pulled my car up for me when I came to pick it up. I don't think it gets any better than this! I received texts reminding me of my appt time, asking to update them when I left my home, and when I arrived at their store. Along the way, they kept me informed of the approximate time it would be ready. They have such an accurate system that they greeted me by name as I entered their door, at the beginning of the job. oh, and they also replace windshield wipers! Very competent service. They should be schooling Toyota dealerships on how to do service.

I gave him the key to the car as he wanted to check the tires and get some information about the car. He came back and said the store could not rotate and balance the tires as the depth on ALL four tires were 3/32". I had checked before and after going to the store with a manual tire depth gauge at home and the tires measured 5/32". He wanted me to buy a set of tires. Today, May 19, 2026, I took my Nissan Pathfinder Platinum AWD 2024 into the Nissan dealer for the 30,000 mile maintenance. The dealer also measured the tires to be 5/32". I asked the service writer if I needed new tires and he told me he would like to sell me a set of tires, but new ones are not needed yet. I just checked the Discount Tire website and it erroneously showed that I was a no show on May 9. Unbelievable. I had previously bought all my replacement tires from that Ogden store, but I won't any more. Beware of this shady practice, think twice about going to this store and, if you do, double check what the store tells you.

The first was $530, but when set up the appointment they said sorry it's actually $660. I said sorry that second quote is not reasonable. They then said "we can do it for $590." I ended the call. Since they were open late and close by and I had run out of time to get to Discount Tire I called back and they quoted $537. I said okay and went in. While I was there for installation they attempted to upsell me by suggesting I install a new $80 sensor. I said no. After they installed three tires they came in to tell me there was a good chance one of the studs on the fourth tire was going to break. They said I had to give them the go ahead to proceed and accept responsibility to fix it if it broke -$57. I asked "what's my alternative?" They said "leave the old worn tire on." I needed to have the tires for a family hospital visit -- so I reluctantly agreed while expressing my displeasure. Predictably they broke it. Since it was almost closing time i completed the payment. Yet another glitch (they had not included the tax in the "out the door price. This was becoming a cluster you know what. The out the door price, including the cost of the broken stud was now about $100 more than their last quote. It took about 10 minutes and multiple tries to process my payment. And when we were done they casually mentioned that the stud would not be in till the following day. They told me it was ok to drive on it with one out of four bolts missing. I later discovered that was NOT at all a safe thing to do. They did not call about the part so that I could return to have it installed. After several calls and being put on hold with aggressive advertising pitches, the installation guy (Pepe) told me they had no openings until 4:30 in the afternoon. He said he'd have to "squeeze me in and expect a 90 minute wait." I told him that was longer than the tire installation! He replied they were very busy. When I arrived I told them that 90 minutes was unacceptable and that I'd already paid them and had to make multiple calls instead of them calling me. They became very disrespectful at that point. St that point I called Belle's national customer service line and complained. They were closed for the day. I recorded a message but never got a call back. The stud was installed in 15 minutes. The charge for parts was $11 and the "labor" for the part they broke was $46 (billed the day before). In summary a) their quotes are wildly disingenuous, b) I question their competence and/or integrity about the broken stud, c) they put me at risk by lying about the safety of the missing stud and bolt, d) they were very disrespectful, and e) Belle Tire Corporate does hot care about Sycamore Belle's shoddy practices as they did not address my complaint. This was among the worst repair SNAFUs I have encountered in over 50 years of driving! Steer clear of this place; it's like a pirate ship.

    I visited this location for a routine oil change and replacement of all four tires. At the time of…read moredrop-off, only those services were authorized. Later, I agreed to a brake fluid service after being informed it was needed. During the process, I was told a brake caliper was "jammed" and the service could not be completed unless additional repairs (around $900+) were performed. I declined those repairs. Despite this, I was initially charged for the brake fluid service even though it was not completed as explained by the staff. The bigger issue was how the situation was handled. When I went to the store to understand what happened, the staff member raised his voice, repeatedly asked me to leave, and threatened to call the police while I was calmly asking for clarification. The police were called over what was essentially a billing discussion. The responding officer handled the situation professionally and clarified that it was a civil matter. After I completed payment, I was told I am no longer welcome at the store. This is not my first concern with this location. In a previous visit, I paid for a lifetime alignment, but the issue was not resolved and only later I was informed it was due to a strut problem. That said, after escalating the issue to corporate, they reached out, acknowledged the situation, refunded the brake fluid charge, and provided a resolution with discounted repair. I appreciate the corporate team for addressing the issue. Overall, while the final resolution was fair, the initial handling at the store level was disappointing and could have been managed much more professionally. 5 Stars for Corporate Team Only*****

Acorn had installed new tires on several of my cars, and I felt relatively good about the service. However, this time was different. I needed four new tire pressure sensors at a cost of over $800. I agreed because they had my trust. All four sensors were installed, but just a day later, the light on the dashboard came on. They admitted they needed more time to sync the four tire sensors to the control unit. One more trip resulted in what I thought was a successful syncing of the sensors with the unit. However, just a day later, the light came back on again. I took it back in, and they removed the four new tire pressure sensors and replaced them with other sensors. I was good to go...or so I thought...until the light came on again. It turns out, Acorn did not have the proper technology to sync the tires with the central unit, so they refunded my money (in 9-12 business days) and told me I would have to take the van to Toyota. I appreciated their honesty. However... Two days later, one of my front tires lost pressure at an alarming rate. I refilled and watched the pressure reduce further. I took the van back and found out the tire had a leaky valve stem. They replaced it and I was on my way. Now that I'm home for a few hours, I've checked the tire pressure, and all four - after spending three hours in a cold garage, are reading 40 PSI on all four tires. I'm done. Why, after telling the desk rep that all four tire pressures were all over the map, would all four be so out of whack? If you use Acorn, do so at your peril. I hate to say this, but my experience has been more than informative. I have to find a new tire source.

Second, he was never contacted when work was done to pick up the car. When he came to pick up the car at the end of the day, work was done, but he had to wait to get it another 20 min or so, even though only one person was working and three were talking among each others. The worst customer services, starting from giving wrong prices to careless behavior with customers and no apology.
