Called on a Monday morning about a tire replacement. They had to order it from another local location and said it would arrive later that day. I went ahead and made an appointment for the next day at 1:45pm. Show up for my appointment and the tire isn't here!! No call or update to not come in, instead I'm risking driving around unnecessarily on a spare tire. So they order the tire again and say they will call me as soon as it's in and I could just come in and wouldn't have to wait. The next day rolls around about 10am and no call so I call myself and of course the tires there and no one told me. They say I have to make an appointment which I arrive 15 minutes early to. My tires were low on air and so J looked up a place where they fill your tires for free and this place popped up. You drive into their lot and there is a designated car line for filling up tires like a drive thru. You wait until it's your turn and they ask you what psi to fill your tires to. They are very friendly and greet you with a bright smile. Even though there were so many cars in line for air, when it was my turn, he was still very friendly and warm. Even with the high volume of customers, the staff remained professional, courteous, and apologized for the delay time and time again. Adrian (the representative who helped me, I believe) took the time to walk me through several tire options and explain the differences so I could make an informed choice. Being in an unfamiliar area and already stressed about the whole situation, I really appreciated how considerate he was. Had a great experience here, I bought some new wheels somewhere else and came here for a quote on some tires. I ended up working with Kris, he gave me a great price on some all terrains, I also need new sensors and gave me a great price on those as well. So I purchased the tires, sensors which also have a 6 year warranty and bought lug nuts from him as well. I had an appointment for 4:15pm but I had my truck in at 3pm and it was taken in sooner. However, discount tire did! Upon arrival, I soon learned that this place was BUSY! Their team member assessed all of my tires and proposed options (including alternative - cheaper- tire brand options). I decided to replace both of my front tires. The service was great! They were informative, patient, and treated very customer with respect and good customer service. Because I was "walk-in", I had to wait for a couple of hours. No worries- ended up ubering to check out the shopping scene. As an FYI- they do take appointments. One thing I thought was unique, was that although they "close" at 5pm- they made a commitment to service each and every car that was in line to be completed for the day. I got a brand new set of tires purchased and installed today, but let's start this review last October. My low tire indicator light popped on in my car and they graciously fit me in between paying customers to fill the air in the low tire. Checked all others and charged nothing. Could not have been more helpful or kind to a gal who is terrible with cars. Fast forward. Because they were so kind and attentive, when I needed new tires, they were the first place I called! Made a big mistake coming here. Last week, I got a nail in my tire and I came in to get it plugged an hour after because I was leaving for a 10 hour drive later in the day. Dropped off my car at 11:30am and the online portal said it would be ready at 3:18pm. I asked the guy helping me if that time was wrong, how much later would it be after that. He said an hour so I left assuming my car would be ready on time as I had expressed I was going on a road trip. At 3:09pm, I called because the tracker had said my car was still not being worked on and they said it would be an hour at the very maximum. So I showed up at 4:15 and had to wait in the line that was going out the door until I finally spoke with someone who said it would be ready "soon." I had to ask for a specific time frame as it was already way later than they quoted and he said 20 minutes. 20 minutes turned to 40 and I finally left at 5:30. But in that time waiting, I was told they broke the arm for the rear windshield wiper when they went to replace it. They explained they would order the part and to come back after my trip and they would install it. So I left with no rear windshield wiper in the complete dark, even though I had planned to leave before 4. Next morning I wake up and the same tire is deflated and I took it to a shop in the town I was in and they fixed it efficiently and treated my time with respect. When I got back, I called to make an appointment since I did not want a repeat of my experience but was told one was not needed as they could just fix it quickly from the parking lot. So today, I went back in to get my wiper replaced and guess what, I had to wait 40 minutes until the guy went to put it on and it only took 1 minute. When I approached Lenny around 6:10 pm and very nicely asked about the status of my vehicle, he was very short with me in his responses and just said they'd been busy and showed me multiple cars still ahead of mine. All day I saw Lenny check in on the other men who had been waiting on their cars and made sure that they were accommodated when they complained to him. I got a screw in the very center of my front left wheel. Slowly leaking, just needed a patch. Tried to call when they opened and either got put on hold or hung up on for about ten minutes. I get there around 4ish, and am immediately greeted by Dane. Dane is lovely, personable, and answered all my questions about the gizmo he was using, etc. He not only answered my questions, but went above and beyond by telling me that, while it was nothing to worry about, if I hadn't gotten my alignment looked at recently to look into getting it done since my tires were starting to show signs of uneven wear. He gave me an estimate of about an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes. Cool, no problem. EXACTLY 30min later, a different gentleman came to get me, give me my keys and tell me I'm good to go. I will be completely honest, I did not pay much attention to the receipt, but I did not pay a dime today. I had previously bought all four tires here, and had bought insurance, but I am not sure if that had anything to do with my total because I did not question the gentleman who was returning my keys to me. If in Nashville go to the Charlotte PIke AVOIDE Franklin location Franklin location replaced the wrong tire and sent me on the road with a flat after preaching safety and how important it was that I replaced the tire instead of patching the nail head. i drove immediantly (on a flat) to the Charlotte pike location and they immediantly remedied the situation, I would recommend that the Franklin location invest in some training for their repair techs and highly recommend the Charlotte location for any tire concerns, they took it very seriously and fixed the mistake even though it wasn't their mistake at all. read more
