I made a 10:30AM appointment for an oil change, brought my car in a few minutes early, was told by Brandon that it would be done by 11:30. At 12 noon I walked up to the desk to see if it was done, only to be told that they had not started on it yet. What the hell good was it to have an appointment at this dirty, disorganized shop? The best part for me is that I was in the market to buy a set of tires, but now I will buy them anywhere but at Tirediscounters. They have seen the last of me. read more

I bought new tires at this location and had them installed here as well. All seemed well until I had to have the tires removed to change the brakes. At that point, my mechanic notified me that whomever had installed the tires had cross-threaded a stud. This meant that the tire couldn't be removed without breaking off the bolt. This caused my mechanic a significant amount of extra work and could have caused a lot more trouble if I found this issue with a flare tire on the side of the road, unable to remove the tire. When I notified the associates and manager about this issue, they offered me $100 and then never followed through with their offer to make up for their mistake. Using their services jeopardized my safety and cost me extra time and money. read more

Me and my girlfriend came in Saturday to get the Front Driver Side and the Back Passenger Tire replaced. It was done alot quicker than expected and seemed to be a great experience. When we got home the back passenger tire had not been changed. They replaced the both front tires instead. I called back to see what had happened. On the phone they said they did replace the back tire but just rotated it. We brought in back in Monday and we were told whoever I spoke too on the phone lied. We eneded having to pay an additional 256 for a new tire and service. I can understand if you make a mistake but don't straight up lie about it. Nothing was done to fix this mistake or anything. This is a poor business practice and very disappointing. read more

Buyer Beware! I took my daughters vehicle in to have the brakes replaced prior to her move to Dallas. Shortly after arrival, her brakes completely failed with the pedal hitting the floor and her luckily able to stop the car utilizing the parking brake. Having it towed to a repair shop, it was determined that the hard line to the caliper was broken due to the bolt missing from the hold down causing the line to bend then break. $987.98 later(not including tow cost) the car was repaired. When I reported this back to the store, they got me in touch with the RM for remedy. To date, the RM has tried to negotiate down the reimbursement and has been very slow to respond to my numerous calls and text. Mistakes happen in any industry and how you fix/remedy them is what makes a good store or a bad one. To date, this is turning out to be a bad one. read more

Wonderful service! My husband and I got a flat tire a few blocks away from their location but didn't have the money for a new tire until pay day. We had a spare but no tools to get the flat tire off. We nursed the car to tire discounters and they took off the tire and put on the spare for free! As we were leaving, we realized that we had walked into the office 1 minute before close, and they still didn't turn us away. This location sure does hire good, compassionate people. read more

I initially visited Tire Discounters a few months ago to get my car aligned and tires balanced - I didn't know at the time but the oil change place that did my tire rotation didn't include balancing/alignment. Without an appointment, I walked in and told the staff about the vibration I experienced on the highway and they handled it on the spot - without charge. I don't know about anyone else, but this amazed me because after calling multiple other shops in the Brentwood area, they all quoted me between $15-$22 per wheel to balance the tires. Not only was I impressed by that, but the staff was extremely friendly and offered complimentary water and snacks. Double bonus. I most recently returned to Tire Discounters on Saturday to get an oil change. Even though I didn't have a coupon on hand, they still gave me their coupon deal of $32.99 for semi-synthetic oil change. They also rotated and balanced my tires (along with checking the alignment) - AGAIN at no additional charge. I was there no more than an hour, and was thoroughly impressed with the clean waiting room, complimentary water and snacks, as well as on-demand TV. I also stopped by the shops across the street for a little Christmas shopping (Mignon's) and noticed there was more boutique shops within walking distance (Snooty Fox, etc.) in case you don't want to sit around. I would HIGHLY suggest getting any and all car services here as they have treated me like their number one customer each time I have visited. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable, polite, and friendly. Bill, the store manager, even gave me a call this morning to check on my car and wish me happy holidays. When my tire went totally flat in October, I took my tire in to Tire Discounters. They did a great quality job repairing my tire, I had a large screw in it, but they fixed it. When I went to pay, they did not accept any money, and said the service was free. That turned a bad day into a much better one. If you need flat repair, balancing, or new tires, I would HIGHLY RECCOMEND Tire Discounters. Friendly, good people who have really made a huge change from just last year. Tire Discounters overall has been a great service for me. They let me ask a lot of questions and don't rush me about them. This location in particular is my favorite in the Nashville area. Everybody is friendly and is always aware of the recent discount for you. My oil change has always been completed accurately and I'm happy with my tires. Again they have looked for discounts for me, it seems if they have the tires in store you get a discount and that happened to me when I replaced my worn tires with Pirelli tires. Just relocated from Michigan. Came out in the morning to a slow leak on my Chevy Equinox right rear tire. Two other name brand places, very close in proximity to TD, gave me $25.50 - 30 and $35 or "around that price" quotes. To fix a slow leak? It turned out to be a nail that had broken off in the tread! When I asked Tire Discounters if they could help me out he said "well we're totally backed up to 7pm, short one installer, but if you can wait or leave it we'll get it done". Had to work so I pulled out my jack and took off the tire, put on my spare, and left it for them. When I came back later they not only changed the tire, but also put the spare back in the well and when I asked him how much he said - Nothing. Just your patience & remember us next time you need tires or service"! Now that's how you build a loyal client base. By treating people well with the small stuff - then they remember and come back for the tires, alignments, oil changes, brakes, shocks, and necessary service that are their stock-in-trade. I went in for an oil change and I'm pretty sure they didn't change my filter. And tire rotation is included with the oil change which they didn't do!!!! plus they didn't top off my washer fluid. Purchased two new tires two months ago. Without asking they snuck the roadhazard insurance on the tires and proceeded to charge me that. When I pushed him about how we never discussed it, he said it was an 'accident'. I was suspicious but gave them the benefit of the doubt. Went back today for just a simple oil change. 'Tall Mike' proceeded to tell me that my Murano requires synthetic and that's all they will put in it. After he left to check the car I pushed the issue with 'Short Mike' who told me that it was BS but he'd give me a $10 coupon that would take the price down to $29 plus disposal and tax, and that it should be about $35 out the door. Once finished 'Short Mike' is no where to be found. 'Tall Mike' gives me the $10 coupon but also throws in a $20 labor charge to make up for their loss. $42 was the total. It's this kind of behavior that makes people hate to go to a mechanic. read more

I came in as a working on a very busy day. I always feel very vulnerable as a female dealing with any kind of car inspection or repair issues. Most recently I was completely fleeced by a major dealership. The staff were completely respectful and helpful. They inspected everything I asked and even drove the car around. They also let me know that no repairs were needed at that time. I was only charged for the new windshield wipers I had requested. Met another woman while I was in the waiting area there who said she had nothing but good experiences there and then a nurse I spoke with lighter at my allergy clinic affirm the same thing.I will absolutely be going back there soon to buy new tires. read more

I would not use Tire Discounters again! With many visits to two different locations, I have been lied to many times. From a tire which was unfixable ( Discount tire fixed and showed me it was just a surface scratch not a razor blade in tire) to a oil change with out changing the filter and overfilling my vehicle by one full quart- possibly wrecking my engine!!! I pulled in with a bad tire on one of my worktrucks.There quoted me 130.00 more than discount tire. I informed them of this and asked what My final cost would be. They told me 430 and change. Fearing I would break down trying to go elsewhere I accepted and asked them to call me the moment it was done. I called them several hours later after not hearing anything, and of course is was finished, and they had no reason for not calling me. Once I got there, they charged me 479! When I asked why the change, he said he needed to add tax. I informed him that I asked for final cost and told him the quote given to me by discount tire and that I felt he was taking advantage of my because I was stuck. He declined to help. If this ever happens to me again, I will call a tow truck to take me elsewhere. I am completely unhappy with the service, attitude and price gouge. read more

Dear Consumers, Tire Discounters in Brentwood TN, told my wife that she needed tires, and led her to believe that she was receiving all season tires which was untrue. They also did a front brake job letting her know she needed calipers and brake pads. Ok , so then they sold her wipers that did not work and when we returned they immediately denied it was their wipers even though we had the bill that itemized the cost we were charged for their wipers , so we showed them the Bill which they then replaced it. When they sold her suppose to be all season tires the car was all over the road . When we returned to have the car checked out for the alignment they charged her for initially when she bought 4 tires. They replied " yes we were right to have brought the car back then they showed us the Tech sheet indicating that the alignment was bad and charged us for a 4 wheel alignment. The third time we returned we were told that there was a problem, then the manager said that they could not set the camber on the rear tires. So we then questioned why weren't these problems accessed the first time we brought the tires after 3 alignments. The car was loosing control and running off the road, the left driver tire was loose and they claimed they repaired it. So I asked the acting store manager if you say that the rear tire camber cannot be set why are we being charged for a four wheel alignment? They danced around saying we did the right thing by bringing the car back , snatched the receipt from us , but to our avail we made copies of both. No one to this date has called us, or sent us any emails to these matters. When I spoke to the regional manager T....s, He quickly told me he only had 3 minutes to talk and to take the car to another place to access the problem which they have missed so they can concur in keeping the money. I said no, at this point since you did not catch it the first time, 3, times later ? Coming back to Tire Discounters is an inconvenience to us, not to say hazardious. Then he replied " I will Just refund your money go to talk with C.....s and let the other car company can fix it. I am not going to monkey with it anymore. Then he told us to come back to Brentwood store to get the refund. We saw a J.... and he said since the regional manager has signed off on this , corporate will handle this. Told my wife to watch her email and they did not need her credit card to refund anything , they can handle it internally. Nothing to this date started 2016 , Feb 16, 2017 and now it is April 13, 2017. We spent At least 1000.00 and we were suppose to receive a $104.00 back for catching the final 4 wheel alignment they admitted they could not do. Today we never received any customer support. I would not recommend anyone doing business with Tire Discounters. The worse part is the fact that when we started with the brake job, transmission flush and tires it was quoted at Brentwood store and the work was done in Murphressboro TN. Then the other two alignments were done in Brentwood. When we were leaving we were told we did the correct thing by bringing back the vehicle and come over to Smyrna TN, and they would take care of us! No way! read more

This place is the best! If you are needing to get work done on your car it is never a good thing. Always takes time, cost money and 99% of the time you end up needing to get more fixed than what you had originally went in there for (kind of like the dentist) and 100% of the time you never know if what the mechanics are saying needs to be done actually needs to be done. Regardless if you have money to pay for it or not, it sucks. Well, this Tire Discounter location has definitely put my mind to ease when it comes to trusting the guys that are working on my car. Demarcus and CJ are two of the nicest and hardest working guys I've ever seen. I have never left there feeling 'gotten' or like I had just been scammed, in fact it's quite the opposite. I used to live near this location and I now drive 45 min out of my way whenever I need anything for my car. (When I say anything, I mean anything...alignment, nails in tires, breaks, windshield wipers, etc.). Tire Discounters is lucky to have guys like CJ and Demarcus, they genuinely care about the customer...so rare to find the days, especially at large chain tire store. read more

I called to compare charges for wheel alignment and was quoted a certain price plus tax. After the service, when it was time to pay, there was an additional charge added under "shop charges". The person on the counter could not explain what those charges were. After repairs, the car was still pulling to the side, so I called back, and had to take car back to shop, and they fixed it the second time (they explained that the problem was with tires). read more

9/2/16 at 10:30 dropped off car for rotate, balance, alignment and check steering wheel that is off center. At 12:30 received a call that we need rear brake pads. I approved. Charles said they should have them by 2 and could finish quickly. I called at 2:30 and mistake was made and brakes not ordered at 12:30. At 5:00 I called and they said ready but no one had called. Husband picked up at 6:30. Asked if steering wheel had been checked. After the third request my husband said please go ask technician. Came back and said yes all fixed. Reality...steering wheel had absolutely no change, car still shakes when breaking, no rotate and balance or alignment was done to car. So all we got was what we did not come in for...rear brakes. UPDATE! The District Manager called immediately. I decided to give the Nolensville Road /Concord Rd a chance to correct this situation. They were AMAZING. David the Service Manager and the lady at the front desk were great. And the master mechanic (also named David) fixed the car and it rubs wonderfully again! read more

The manager Mark was extremely aggressive and did not take responsibility for damage that was done to my wheel while in their possession. I purchased 4 new tires and noticed the left front wheel had received damage while the tire was replaced by this location. Mark humiliated me by publicly calling me a liar. A simple apology and replacement of wheel would have sufficed. I deeply regret going here. The manager did not provide the standard of service or product I expected from him or this location. read more

After I chanced my tires and upon driving home, my car shook a lot. A friend told me to go back because they didn't balance my tires correctly. I went back the next day (this is a 20 minute drive from me) with an hour and a half left of the day before close and I was told that they couldn't help me that night. There was one car on a lift in the garage and no work orders on their board. I had a 13 hour car ride the next day and now I had to push back my start time because I could only leave after they fixed the problem the next day. I went in at 8:10 am and the guy balanced my tires in 20 minutes (leaving me to believe they could have fixed this the night prior). He said that every tire was "way out of balance". About an hour into my trip, the Tire Pressure Monitor Light came on. It has never come on in the three years of owning this car. In the process of getting new tires, my TPMS monitor was broken. Now I need to go and pay to have this fixed. read more
