I'm giving these folks 4 stars with every indication that they'll be a "5" after repeat service. I had a new (to me) used car from Carvana. I'd picked up said car after my prior car started making clunking noises which led to a diagnosis that was more expensive to fix that that car was worth so I traded up. Two days into my 7 day "trial" period from Carvana, my updated vehicle starts making its own noises. I tried to make an appointment at a Midas and they never confirmed me, so I came to Firestone (after realizing they were an authorized Carvana mechanic meaning they, not Midas, honor my warranties so it was fortunate for me in the long term). Firestone booked my requested appointment, did a full inspection and diagnosis in a couple of hours, and found multiple issues that needed addressing to get me road safe and up to speed. Kudos to the employee who dealt with the Carvana rep on the phone as it sounded (to me at least) that they were a bit of a beast in needing detailed photos and rationale for every suggested repair (and it sounded like at least once they tried to get Firestone to use a cheaper, plastic part). Anyway, that work then took...about 6 hours. So I spent a whole day at Firestone. Thankfully they have free wifi and I was able to do most of my planned work for the day! They had other customers to attend to, and while I feel like my car might have been done but simply not lowered and parked for awhile before ultimate completion that could easily be me just thinking that after a long day (and one that would have been avoided if Carvana had used their own mechanics to fully diagnose and repair basic maintenance issues before selling the car). Anyway--will most certainly use this location again. Friendly crew, easy parking on site, and reliable work as far as I can tell. read more

Do not recommend. I came in for a simple spare tire replacement and have experienced nothing but problems ever since. Immediately after the tire was installed, the TPMS system failed to recognize the new tire, and eventually stopped recognizing any of the tires at all. I returned to Firestone four separate times to have the issue corrected. Despite multiple attempts, the problem was never resolved. I ultimately took my vehicle to the dealership, where I was informed that Firestone had damaged the TPMS sensor and then installed a refurbished sensor in an unsuccessful attempt to fix the issue. I was quoted approximately $700 in repairs to replace the tire monitoring system because of the damage. Sean, the manager, eventually stopped trying to address the problem and simply told me to take the vehicle to the dealership. Throughout the entire process, the staff displayed a lack of urgency, accountability, and concern for customer service. On my third return visit, despite having a 9:00 a.m. appointment, I was told it could be up to two hours before anyone even looked at my car. What should have been a routine tire replacement turned into multiple wasted trips, ongoing vehicle issues, and a costly repair bill. Firestone created a problem they could not fix and then left me to deal with the consequences. Extremely frustrating experience, and I will not be returning. read more

They make you listen on hold to this thing that says they are complete auto repair because it's in their name. The person in charge said he didn't know for sure if he would be to replace a hub on a 2019 Pro master 3500 don't sound they're very complete to me. Don't waste your time. read more

This location is not to be trusted. They have been caught in multiple lies and will only take your money. Find a reliable and trustworthy establishment and a good mechanic. They also brag about taking advantage of women specifically. Without writing a novel; they told me my fiancés Kia Forte needed a completely new engine, when in reality, it needed a spark plug and an oil change. 4-6k for a motor and they were willing to pull a perfectly good motor, just to make a sale. If that doesn't turn you away from this place, nothing will. Disgusting business practices that have been reported to the BBB and multiple other resources. The people here are either incompetent or deceptive. I had a 1pm Saturday appointment for brake work, as I was hearing them squeaking. Around 4pm I retuned the shop and was told by Adam that he has good news and bad news. The good news was that my brakes were okay. The bad news was that I needed new tires and news shocks. We went out to the repair area and he showed me the signs of the scope of work that was needed. Since Adam said my brakes were okay I assumed that the sound I was hearing might had come from suspension system. So I okayed the new tires and shocks, and left my car to worked on and picked up the next day, Sunday. Just before 11am on Sunday I received a call informing me that my car was ready to pick up. I made it there a little after 1 pm, paid the bill, had the invoice sent to my email account, got my keys and left. At this time I didn't hear and squeaking noise because I had been driving at highway speeds for much of the trip. But when I stopped at a store before getting home I heard the same noise coming from the wheels. I heard the noise from now on as I was now driving at much slower than highway speeds for the finally couple of miles to my home. I checked my email after arriving home and saw the inspection form that had been sent along with my bill. On the form it showed what I suspected: I needed to brakes (plus rotors). So how could I have been advised that my brakes were fine when the inspection forms states otherwise, with pictures? Bottom line: I spent over $3000 for repairs that did not clear up my brake problem. And I didn't have my brakes repaired then because I was informed that there were good. read more

This Firestone location is horrible..I had an appointment for 7:000 am..I bring my Q50 there at 7:00 the manager proceeds to tell me the appointment is for 8:00 am...I then ask him for an estimate of how long until they looked at my car..his answer was well as you can see we have a lot of cars ahead of you..what was the point of the appointment then Firestone? They ended up keeping my car for 2 days & never called me about the oil leak, reason why I brought the car there in the first place ..I called the third day and asked for an update..No manager there just another employee and he tells me he doesn't really know what is wrong with the car..he says he is not the Master Mechanic and then proceeds to tell me it could be an hour to fix the problem or a 15 hour process..that could cost up to 3,200 dollars to fix.then told me his manager would call me in the morning to discuss...I showed up to the shop to pick my car up about an hour after our discussion on the phone and there was just 1 employee there sitting in a chair with his hoodie on and scrolling on his phone..real professional..I told him I was here to pick my Q50 up..He then proceeded to disappear for 5 minutes..when he comes back he tells me he just got off the phone with his boss & told me they couldn't find a leak anywhere from the oil..and I'm good to go..This Firestone is horrible and unprofessional..very dishonest..I also had a very expensive pair of sunglasses (Bolt & arrow ) in my car and they stole them ..I DO NOT RECOMMEND this Firestone location...I hope this location fires the store manager.They need someone who cares and acts in integrity. read more

I have been going to this Firestone since I moved to Nashville in '04 (21 years). Multiple vehicles (two wagons, two vans and a Truck) many different issues and they have always been Aces. That of course covers many different Managers and Employees. They have all been outstanding. Pro. They always have great staff. I have always driven older vehicles that need a little TLC. I have always been treated well and honestly. The Current Staff is Great. I got emailed a full easy to read Diagnostic and was told which things were urgent and which were not (I had them do all of it) My truck was handling funky and driving rough..Now it feels and handles great again. They found some stuff I wasn't even aware of. Quoted me a price and stuck to it. Nashville is the capital of potholes, so it's nice to have a shop that does everything , including alignment and suspension. I am by no means wealthy, so I can only afford to do stuff Once and these guys have never let me down. You might find it a couple bucks cheaper somewhere but in 21 years I have NEVER had to go back for the same issue. If you want it done right, go to the West Nashville Firestone. Peace read more

They said they did a diagnostic and found 3 errors that'll cost $350. So, I said ok fix it. After I paid and picked my car up, the engine light was still on. I called back and they said "oh yeah, you can get that fixed at the dealership for free." Nobody was going to tell me after I walked off the lot, and especially not before I paid them $350. Have always been treated professionally, honestly, quoted fair repair costs with excellent communication detailing proposed repairs. Brought daughters vehicle with squeaking breaks in and told all good. No repair needed. Son's Explorer just needed complete front and back break replacement. Communication excellent both repair cost quote and estimated time of completion. This place is always booked so advise calling in advance and scheduling an appointment. read more

I came in with no appointment on a Wednesday afternoon, it was a busy busy place and was told that my Oil Change may take up to two hours. Being that my car was due for the service and I was planning to travel the following day, I decided to stay and wait out the two hours. The waiting area was clean and there was a Baseball game on their TV. After an hour my car was pulled into the service bay and Voi-La, the oil was changed. Jason, the service Manager called me over to go over the findings, you will need a new Air Filter and a set of Tires.... I asked prices of tires and took their print-out quote and I was on my way. Within an hour of pulling out of their parking lot the Orange Service Engine Light came on. I knew that I was driving to Kentucky the following day, only 200 miles round trip and I thought it would be alright until my return to have this checked out. On the trip my car began to sputter and run roughly, then the engine completely shut down on the highway, I pulled to the side of the road and re-cranked the car and it was running really rough, after a few minutes I was able to pull into traffic without getting run over and made it home. Sunday morning the Firestone shop opens at 8:AM and I was there waiting for them to unlock the doors, Jason greeted me with a smile and asked if I was there to buy those tires today, I explained the condition that my car was in since leaving the shop on Wednesday afternoon, he said it could be a Butterfly Wing on the sensor and that they would gladly look at it for me. Within the hour Steve, a service technician came out with Jason to show me a small piece of a Leaf that had gotten on the sensor and caused my problems. With that I was out and on my way again, No Charge. This Firestone is the worst! If you want your money taken from you with no real work done, then this is your place otherwise I suggest going somewhere else. They were going to let us leave the parking lot with a bald tire and swore up and down that it was not bald. Until my husband called the manager out on it he then came out and saw himself it was bald and claimed it was questionable but still fine. Also we have free balance and rotation on tires and they charged us even though they knew that. After all that we still ended up leaving with a bald tire. The staff is unprofessional on their phones in the lobby. Just not worth your time or your money. I had to get a rim and all 4 tires replaced. I was told 3 days in a row that it would be completed the next morning. I had to call every afternoon to get an update. The staff was either lying or didn't care. If they were just honest about timelines I would have rented a car, but instead gave bogus excuses thinking it was better to tell me "in the morning", so it didn't sound too bad. Ended up taking my car on the 4th day because when I went to the store at 4pm to check on it in the afternoon, the car was still in the parking lot not being worked on. Timely and great customer service for a nail in my tire. Didn't have an appointment and they got me in on the same day.

Our car picked up a nail in the right rear tire, and we took it to the Firestone at 6618 Charlotte Pike. No appointment, just a drop-in on a Saturday morning. They had some cars in the bays, definitely busy, but we got immediate attention. They repaired the tire with an internal patch (instead of a temporary "plug", this is a permanent fix) and had us on our way in less than 45 minutes. The service manager, Shane Lukas, was very attentive and knowledgeable. We would recommend these guys without question. read more

I have had a tire leaking air for awhile. It wasn't an emergency to get repaired so I called around, and this place assured me if I dropped it off they would work it in during the day and take a look at it. I dropped my car off at 9 am. Around 3 pm, I called for an update and they told me it was the next car to be looked at. I ubered there thinking it would be ready when I arrived. At 330, when I arrived, they assured me it was next going in to be seen. I sat down and waited. 4 o clock rolled around. My car still sat in the parking lot. I needed to get to the vet by 6 pm to pick up medication for my sick dog. Once again, reassured me my car was next to be seen. At 445 my car was still sitting in the parking lot and had not even been taken back to be seen. 8 hours later I requested my keys back and left without my car ever being seen. Do NOT tell people you have the ability to work someone's car in and waste 8 hours of their day! I would call and have words with management at this company- but beings it's Christmas and I want to be "less ugly" this is my angry Yelp rant. After hitting debris on the freeway interrupting my Lyft shift on St Patrick's day, and dealing with the at-fault parties insurance for weeks, these guys hung on to my car for a month and kept it safe. They were so comforting the entire time and kept re-assuring me everything would work out. This- coming from a gal who usually does her own Maintinence work on her car. I.E. Filter cleaning, fluid exchange, changing motor or break parts. These guys even saved me a couple hundred bucks! Do not--I repeat--DO NOT waste your time. Came in on a slow, rainy afternoon for a headlight replacement. Was told it would be a roughly two hour wait. Not being able to drive anywhere with the broken headlight, I sucked it up and decided to wait. The price was a hefty $70, but I figured I needed it done before traveling for the holidays. Come to find out after an hour of waiting, the man at the register had accidentally looked up the wrong bulb. The actual cost was almost $150. FOR A HEADLIGHT. Most of that being labor. Regardless, I was provided with the best customer experience imaginable. Derrick S. did everything he could to help me out and I left at 7:30 with a fully functioning vehicle. Derrick S., Don L., and Tyler R. all stayed the few minutes late to ensure that I wasn't stranded without a vehicle. My boyfriend took my 2014 Honda Civic here to change my battery that was deemed on the border of being dead by AAA. I had called earlier to ask them how the online price worked and he explained it to me but I did not want to schedule an appointment for another day since my boyfriend was already at Costco across the street. My boyfriend stoped by firestone and they said they could change the battery today for the online price. He just asked him how much the online price was and gave it to us for that price. He took my car in and once he checked it, he came back out and let my boyfriend know that my battery was actually testing great and that in the future if this happens again, I can go to Honda because it falls under my 3 year warranty. He told him that he did not want to take his money and that he also has a 2015 Honda Civic and knows about the warranty. He saved me over $120 and I'm so grateful! While they did adequate work, there was a serious issue with their customer service. I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment, checked in, and gave my keys to the employee. It then took them until 50 minutes after my scheduled appointment time to even drive my car up to the rack. Not once was I told there would be a delay. This shows a serious lack of professionalism and lack of respect for the customer and the value of their time. After filling out their survey and a telephone call with a manager, I was given some bs line about it being like a doctor's office. Not once was there an apology for their lack of respect and customer service. Like I said, their work is adequate, but they have no respect for you and your time. They also tried to change my quoted price twice without informing me specifically. Buyer beware. Check everything and question them closely, as well as giving yourself an extra hour or two of time. Stellar customer service and repairs! I needed a nail removed from my tire and the tire repaired and put back on. They were honest about their busy schedule, and told me I could bring it the next day and they would fix it for a reasonable price while I waited. I did, and they fixed it in an hour. In addition, they topped off my fluids, told me my windshield wipers were wearing down, offered to install new ones at a reasonable price... and then told me the wipers were buy one, get one free in March! I drive a 3 year old Mazda 3 that I bought brand new. I've religiously taken it to the dealership for every oil change, tire rotation, and filter change. There was a change of circumstances where I had to take my car to this Firestone twice, once for an oil change and once for a tire rotation. They did the tire rotation and told me that my tires needed to be replaced. I procrastinated on the replacement, but the next time I went to the dealership for an oil change, I asked them to rotate the tires. They wouldn't be of how worn they were, so I had them order the new tires. Well, here I am to get my tires replaced, and the dealership tells me there's an issue with the tire sensor on two of my tires. They were twisted in such a way that caused them to malfunction, and the way in which they are twisted could not happen through normal wear and tear. My tire pressure sensors being busted after one trip to Firestone but not after many, many trips to the dealership seems like much more than a coincidence. The service person here at the dealership just told me that he's going to discount the TPS sensors for my trouble (my "trouble" being that they didn't have the parts in stock right this second). Five or so years ago, when I first moved to west Nashville, I took my Monte Carlo in for a tire rotation, and the TPS sensors were already busted and I knew it. I asked this same Firestone to fix that issue as long as they were rotating the tires anyway. I was billed for the fix and a week later their "fix" was broken again. I don't remember the outcome (if they refunded my money or not, I know they didn't fix my TPS sensor) but I remember the anger I had with them when it happened and I said then, five years ago, that I wouldn't come back. Why I gave them another chance with my Mazda, I have no idea. Avoid, avoid, avoid. read more

Charged her for an alignment we didn't need (just had one a few weeks prior), charged a ton for labor when installation was listed as free, and $50 for an oil change, which is way over the typical rate. I was in the process of selling my personal car and the buyer wanted to have it inspected by Firestone. The inspection was only $10 so it's a good idea to have this done at least once a year. I always keep up with the recommended service on my cars so I was a bit dubious when Firestone found about $2,200 worth of needed repairs. I took the car to my mechanics and they verified all Firestone's findings. I had them fix everything and returned for round two at this Firestone with the same buyer. Although we had set up an appointment time the shop was backed up with clients and we were told it would take over two hours before they could get to us. Once the shop foreman found out that we were just there for a follow up inspection he kindly took the car in immediately and verified all the required repairs had been made within a mere ten minutes. So, that proved to me that they make honest, accurate and thorough assessments/inspections. None of those problems had been noticed by other mechanics. And I deeply appreciate the two hour wait they spared us. Sold the car right after that. read more
