12/30/19 UPDATE: Today I received a call from the store manager Jay. He was extremely professional while listening to my frustrating experience. He took the time to apologize and made sure he understood the entire situation. He again apologized for the length of time and hurdles I went through to get to this point . During our dialogue we came to a resolution to the issue and I'm updating my review of this location as I'm very appreciative that we had a chance to discuss this situation. My problem started with an online inquiry to price match a set of Nokian Tire Entyre 2.0 235 /55 R19. Lorenzo initially responded. I then found an even better price at Walmart and submitted another online inquiry as well as replied back to Lorenzo, and never heard back from anyone. I called my local store at 181st Wright and Pete told me the tire wasn't available in store, but he didn't make it clear if he was going to check. I asked him if he could price match Walmart and he told me I'd need to go online to inquire. I contacted another store and the gentleman was much more helpful in calling Nokian to find the tires were no longer available (please remove from your website). I researched and ordered a set of General Altimax instead. When we arrived to pickup our truck it was left in the parking lot running and the fob was inside the store. I informed the assistant Mgr and he said he would have the store MGR contact me the next day and I've not heard from anyone still. This has been the worst experience with discount tires and I've purchased tires for 4 vehicles in the past few years. It's questionable if I'll return to this location again. 11/18 And still to this day I've not heard from this location or the online customer service. I've seen responses that have taken up to three months to get a response. That's pretty bad. read more

Took my sons car in to have 2 flats repaired(free!). I was expecting some sales pitch for new tires but not the case. They just fixed the flats and mentioned I had corrosion on the wheels. Here's why I am giving 5 stars: while I was there waiting, the employees were physically running to and from this and that and to cars in the lot, etc. Maybe I'm old fashioned in saying this but I love to see people actually make an effort and work hard. - this is what I saw there and it blew me away read more

Excellent customer service! Fast turnaround on tire repair and replacement! Jay greeted me with a smile and a warm welcome as soon as I walked in the door. David checked over my tires and discovered that I had a screw in the one tire that had a slow leak, which they had replaced previously, so they would patch that tire up for me. He went on to explain that my other three tires had the tread worn down to the point they were almost unsafe to drive on. He priced out replacing the set versus just the three and let me know that even with the specials going on it would be cheaper to just do the three, then went further by googling prices elsewhere and was able to lower the price another $20 or so. Marcus explained clearly where the old tire would be placed and assured me that he would relearn the sensors. Overall it was a great experience & I would highly recommend this tire shop! read more

Fantastic customer service. They will fix punctures for free and fill low tires, have used this service a few times and they treat you great, they do not try to sell you tires if you do not need them. I have also purchased new tires from them; great prices, great service and they do free tire rotations. 185th and Center is a great location, you cannot beat the service and price. read more

Taking an appointment has no meaning at this place. I went there 5 min before my appointment but waited for 20 min in line just to check-in. That I understand as there was a lot of rush. After checking-in, they said it's going to be a 45-minute wait. I waited for an hour and realized that my car was not even pulled in for service. After I told them that my car was not pulled in, then they got activated. So, I ended up waiting for total 2 hours for a 20-min job, after taking an appointment. The worst part was, they didn't even have the basic courtesy to explain to me why it was delayed so long. They seem to be generally polite until you check-in and make the payment and after that there was no more love! I wouldn't go to such a place again who don't respect others' time. read more

I have purchased my tires from a discount tire the last 3 times. I recently purchased a single tire to replace a damaged one. They gave me a spare tire while my new one was being shipped. I thought that was awesome. But the reason for this review is about my current visit. I came in because of a low tire pressure light. Once the tech did his initial assessment, he realized they had put wrong load weight tire. I don't know what that is for but... He ordered a new one and apologized. I was very impressed with the professionalism and honesty. I would have never know that the tire was the wrong one, but discount tire is making it right. Wow! I got a good deal on tires (without the annoying sales pitches trying to get me to spend way more money for crap I don't really need, as a woman we get this WAAAAYYYY too much any time we step foot in any business having anything to do with automobiles. I'm not an idiot and don't appreciate being treated like one. This place treated me like a PERSON) and they always fit me in for my free tire rotations in a timely manner. I went to get my tires rotated last night, and you could tell everyone there was working their butts off. Anyways, they looked extremely busy but got me in and out in under 30 minutes. I forget I had left money in my center console, when I picked up my car it was still there. So not only were these dudes working hard, they are honest as well. Made an appointment the day before to fix a nail in my tire. Showed up 15 mins. early, took my car in right away. 15 mins. After that, my car was finished! No charge! All puncture fixes are free as long as there is no serious damage, tire rotations are also free! They did try to upsale some chrome rims, but I didn't feel over pressured. I left my garage at 5:58pm to discover a flat tire so I called Discount Tire 180th/Center to check when they close. I was told 6pm and being a few miles away, thought I wouldn't make it! They were nice enough to stay open for me, get my tire patched (at no cost as have the insurance) and on my way by 6:30. Awesome service especially from Eli Hansen and they all went above and beyond after hours. read more

After buying tires here for several different vehicles over the last five years, I had a problem. The tires on one of my vehicles started making a groaning noise about halfway through their guaranteed mileage period. I stopped in to discuss the issue with them. Seems to be different people there every time I go in, so they must have a high turnover rate. The young man looked at my tires, measured the tread depth and proclaimed it was not the tires, so it must be something mechanical. I had the alignment and wheel bearing checked by the dealership and all were good. He offered to rotate the tires, in hopes that it would solve the problem. I explained that the noise occurs both before and after the last rotation. I offered to let him drive the vehicle and listen to the noise but he had no interest. I left frustrated but these people are not worth my time. Next stop Costco, where I had a new set of tires installed in less than 30 minutes and now I am back on the road with quiet tires. Discount Tire lost a customer who has spent thousands of dollars there over many years. I will no longer be purchasing from them or recommending their products. read more

I had a completely flat tire. I pulled up and before I even was able to get my daughter out of the car someone cane out to greet me and ask me what the problem was. He got all of the information he needed about the vehicle and walked in with me to get my information. Gave me a price quote in case the tire couldn't be repaired. I walked over to Lowes and received a text about 1 1/2 later. Turned out that they were able to repair my tire and I wasn't charged because apparently they don't charge for tire repairs. I'm definitely coming coming back for any future tire needs and will refer others to them as well. read more
