I recently purchased a set of tires after the ones from factory wore out. The car had never had the tires unmounted or touched before, rims were still in mint condition. After they finished and i got my receipt i noticed my wheels were damaged from the mounting and unmounting. Cashier said his guys didnt do it and that i probably hit a curb. He kept pushing for me to accept it. After i got tired of him i just simply left and swore never to come back. The next day i actually drove the car a good distance and realized that it vibrated. I called to let them know and they asked to bring it in to check the balance. I am now at another discount tire where they once again re did the balance because it was off. This store is horrible. Wait time is almost unbearable, and obviously they cant even balance a tire on a machine that is literally telling them which weight they need to put in. read more

the guys @ this location could not be more amazing!! my daughter had a flat and needed to get to a performance and the guys at Metro opened the door shortly after they were supposed to close and put tires on the car for us immediately. they gave us information regarding the safety of the type of wheels on her vehicle and made an extremely stressful situation sooo much easier. I needed new tires. I went to their website in search of a certain brand, they indeed had them. I then spent days looking to make certain I could not get them cheaper elsewhere---I couldn't. I then put in a request online for the tires, as well as an appointment time that same day. I showed up ten minutes early as instructed, they took my vehicle in, they put the tires I requested on, I paid and was out of there. The entire process took about 20 minutes. It was very efficient, there was no upsale attempt whatsoever, and I couldn't have asked for an easier experience. This is not the first time I have been to this Discount Tire however. They have removed nails, rotated tires, and always did it free. The employees at this store are ALWAYS kind, they are 100% honest, and they want to help you. You can hear people come in stressed and sometimes raising their voices at these employees, lets face it visiting a tire shop is never for fun reasons, but these employees manage to smile and be courteous to these people as well. I would highly recommend this Discount Tire. Although I hope I don't have to go back any time soon, if a tire issue should arise I have absolutely no doubt where I would go. read more

I'm SO extremely thankful that even though there are closer locations to me now living out in carefree that I could go to that I came here instead. These guys are straight up a total blessing & I truly cannot thank them enough. I'm waiting for my car to be done and even though it's been much past the estimated time I was given, I figured it would be as they were slam packed nearly out the door! Have been a discount tire customer for quite a bit. (8years) not loyal to one specific place, but I have definitely got great service at all locations. Particularly this one, Seth had taken care of me, was given the standard knowledge of the wear and tear on my current tires. I noticed that the bay was communicating well with the front guys as well, which had my car in and out promptly. Honest opinions go a long way. Discount Tires cannot be beat when it comes to exceptional customer service. I had just come out to my vehicle after spending some time shopping at the mall. I noticed my tire was going flat. I looked up Discount on my phone and there was a stire literally on the other side of the mall. I got in my car and managed to drive over there with the remaining air. From the minute you enter the store you feel like the number one priority. I was greeted wuthin 5 seconds and they had my account screen pulled up shortly there after. I explained what I had noticed, but told them I wasnt sure if it was just low on air or if I gad pic km ed up a nail or something. The assiciate was reassuring as we went outside to look. From there they asked for my keys and explained they were taking it in now for repair. They offered me a beverage and a seat and advised me if the timeframe, which was 20 minutes. As promised my car was ready within that time. It was a nail t b ey explained and it was air tight and fixed now. The charge was zero. The warranty they provide covers these mishaps free of charge. I was back on the road wuth piece of mind in well less than an hour. The customer expierence was top notch and efficient. This company really cares about theur customers. read more

I drove my car in to the Metrocenter Discount today out of convenience of the location since my low tire pressure light had come on and was indicating very low tire pressure compared to the other three tires....a nail? That particular tire was brand new, purchased at Flagstaff's Discount Tire. After a short wait, we were escorted to the vehicle to evaluate the problem. Upon completion, we were told to wait in a long line of cars, facing east, in a coned single lane that was backed up out onto a city street to have the air pressure checked rather than be placed on the waiting list for the tire bay to check the tire for a nail, or other street damage that may cause a slow leak. Really? That was it? No time to check a NEW tire for street damage, a nail, a bad tire pressure sensor, nothing? Especially when one is not like the others? Just a see ya, go wait in the line...and by the way, you may need some new tires on the front. Have a nice day. Well, Metrocenter Discount, you won't EVER see me, my money or my cars again. I am emphatic about tire safety, and this is a car that my daughters drive...precious valuable irreplaceable cargo, but you don't get it. Shame on you! Shame on your sales managers at the front desk! FYI...it wasn't just in need of a squirt of air, and what about those new tires I might have purchased????! Thank goodness there are more responsible Discount Tires that were relatively close by that apparently weren't so determined or "care less" of our safety that wanted to send us on a wild goose chase or waste our time to just go through a tire air check line, but immediately were concerned enough to put our vehicle in the tire bay to SOLVE the problem. All you managed to do was earn a bad review and lose a customer-funny, I pass by the store every single day on my way to work... (I will honk as I drive by each weekday morning to remind you of this-around 7:45). I contacted Juan at about 5pm, Google's info says they are a 24 hour shop so I wanted to call and check because I've never heard of such magical things. Juan told me 6pm and I didn't want to show up super late like an ass but Juan insisted I come in so they could take care of me. Made it there at 5:25 and Juan was the one to make the process enjoyable, 10 minutes later and my car is already lifted, another 6 mins go by and I'm safely back on the road. I'll be back to this discount tire for my next check in/problem- the staff being friendly, compassionate and efficient is an understatement. Thanks guys! read more

Called on Mon to order tires and wheels. Told they would be in Fri. I called Thu to confirm. Told they would be in Sat and to be there 10am. I arrived at 10 am Sat to drop off car. Told it would be 1.5 hrs. I waited 1.25 hours before I was told they did not have the wheels. I made it clear that I didnt want to waste time if they did not have them. They should have called me to save the trip or at least told me when i dropped off the car. I could have made other arrangements instead I wasted 2 hours of my Sat for nothing. Dealt with Mgr Patrick and Asst Mgr Branden, so it wasnt some inexperienced employee who wasted my time. I assume they expected to sell me something in-stock after waiting so long. I refused to reward that kind of business practices and left. I then wasted 2 more hours someplace else getting tires put on. Could have avoided wasting so much time had they just been upfront about not having them. read more

I've been coming here and gotten my tires replaced 2x different times here. I came in for an air check. It was 111+ degrees out with the sun shining right on where you have to park. My ac needed a service and I Was going there after. I waited 2-3 minutes in my car no one came. I then stood outside my car because it was so hot. another 2 minutes went by and a guy with short grey hair came out he looked like the manager. He had a clipboard in his hand and it looked like he was doing inventory. He said someone will be with you in just a minute.... I waited and waited it was so hot. About 10 minutes had now gone by... I walked up to him ( he had his back turned looking at tires about 10 feet from where I was parked ) and said " hey is someone still coming? " and he ignored me he didn't even turn around. This time I raised my voice and said it real loud and hostile and he still tried to act like he was ignoring me but he turned around at the last second. He said ya someone is coming and thats when I flipped out and told him he was a scum bag. Someone finally did come as I was driving off I gave them the finger honked real loud and a car was pulling in. I made sure to get his attention he rolled his window down and I told him this place has horrible customer service before I pulled out for the last time ever. Don't ever go here especially for an air check. They will be happier if you don't come. read more

Today was not the best day I ever had. First of all, I had to go get my car an Emission Test. I developed a flat tire while waiting 45 minutes in the hot morning sun, and by the time I got up to the front of the line, they would not test my car because of the flat. I drove it off the testing site, called emergency road service, and got the tire fixed. The spare was also flat (as it usually is when you need it!) Well, luckily, the flat tire had a nail in it, and held enough air so I could drive to Discount tire, about five miles from where I was. When I got there, I was treated like I was the most important customer they had in the store at the time. This is not unusual. They seem to make every guest that walked in the door feel that way. Even though I had a bought a new car since my last visit, they still offered to fix the tire at no charge! Unfortunately, the old tire could not be fixed, but they found the least expensive way for me to get back on the road, all in under an hour. Soon, I was back at the emission testing place. I expected them to put the car on the rotors and test it like it was on the road, but all they did was look at the gas cap, stick a probe in the tank and charged me $27.50 and told me I passed. They never turned on the freaking motor. Why they made me go fix the tire first and wait in line all over again is beyond me, but DISCOUNT TIRE made a bad experience so much better just by treating me like they really cared. I will always bring my car here for any tire related issue. They have earned my business on more than one occasion. Plus they have great TV commercials!!! read more

If you need new tires, or existing ones fixed, go here. All the staff are amazingly friendly, courteous and helpful. While having locking lug nuts that I did not have the key for replaced (at a very reasonable price), my car died and would not start. They tried to jump it for me, and that did not work. The mechanic I called could not do anything until the next day, and Trevor allowed me to leave the car in his parking lot while I went to work. He and another employee both offered to push the car into the garage at closing time to keep it safe, but since I had to go to work and was hoping it would start at 11:30pm, I declined their kind offers. It didn't but I felt relieved to know that it being there overnight would not be a problem. It did start in the morning, and I was very grateful that I did not have to deal with tow trucks, etc. prior to going to work. I work in a group home for developmentally delayed adults, and we always bring the company van here, as it seems to be a magnet for nails. Once the low tire symbol was on, but they could not find a problem, so they replaced the sensor. Problem solved. Their service is outstanding. They provide cold bottled water for their customers. When I asked them about buying a tire gauge, as the one in the company van had disappeared, they gave me a free one! Because I had a couple of the guys from the group home, they gave each of them one too. Not everyone treats these guys with respect and courtesy, so I always make not of places that do and give them any return business. Once again, thank you to Trevor and the whole crew. I never leave reviews, I just use yelp to read them. But I just felt the need to tell everybody of the great customer service and service in general I received from this Discount Tire location. Although the location was very busy, I never felt that the quality of customer service I received was compromised. I was helped by Patrick and he took the time to inform me of everything I was being charged before we went ahead with the transaction. He also suggested different option but never made himself too pushy like other auto places do. There were about 5 or so people in line almost the whole time I waited for my car and Patrick never seemed overwhelmed, he was as cool as a cucumber and helped everybody else out. He would update customers waiting in the lobby of the status of their vehicle and continually thanked everybody that came in. I always feel so out of place when I go to a car place but I felt like Patrick and the rest of the Discount Tire crew really wanted to help. I will recommend this location to everybody I know. Two co-workers of mine recommended this location to me and now I know why! I wish I would have come here sooner. Thank you for all your help! read more
