Always traded with Discount and back in the day the value prop was really good. Usually their procing was tough to beat and great customer experience. Ok, so I notice the pass side rear tire is low on our Sequoia and take it to discount this AM. Mgr walks to the vehicle and quickly says 'hey you really need new front tires'. Which is true. I said 'yeah, and the tire looked the same a couple months ago when I brought it in for a repair and your guy said the same thing but instead of replacing it, he chose to repair it.' No response from the manager. Somehow the tread gage gave another mil of depth like immaculate conception on my prior visit. Definitely a situation where they decided they wanted me to purchase the tire vs. replacing it under road hazard warranty. Now I pick up the vehicle and the same guy tells me it needs new tires...even writes me a note (attached). Four vehicles from SUVs to sports cars currenty in the household that I have purchased tires at Discount for over the past several years. Guessing $600 annual avg. every year. Today, there seem to be alot of options. I will take the advice to get new tires, but will try a competitor. read more

I love Discount Tire! My dad has been a loyal customer of this location for over 10 years, so naturally whenever my parents, siblings or I need new tires we go here. Yesterday a coworker noticed that I had a nail in my tire. I went straight to DT & they removed the 3 nails in my tire, patched it up & made sure none of my other tires had any nails. ALL FOR FREE! Stopped in to get air in my tires. The car before me left after waiting to get air in their tires. Four different employees walked past my car, and my friend said to me.. watch as they avoid eye contact.. after a long period of time 1 of the 4 employees came over and asked me what they could do for me.. I said I needed air checked, and they said somebody will be there.. and I waited for quite a while.. then the one guy that was running around moving tires and stuff ran over and offered to fill my tires.. Discount Tire is usually great. They fix tires for free which is pretty cool. I've also spent a lot of money on sets of tires here as well. I should clarify, not at this store, at the one in my area. But at this particular store, I brought my car in at 8:30 am to replace a tire. $275. I came to pick it up at 5:00 and it still wasn't ready. It's now 6:00 and they are just pulling it into the bay. They did have to get the tire from another store but 9 hours? The problem is they way over promise and are dishonest about the time they'll finish at this store. I think I got taken advantage of because I left my car instead of waiting for it. If there were another tire store across the street they would make a killing. There's plenty of business in this area. I will use Discount again but not this location. read more

Worst Experience Ever! They let me drive away with out airing my tire up on my 22" rims. Within 100ft my tire was shredded and I destroyed a $5k set of rims. I called back and they told me that they would not take any responsibility for my wheels. STAY AWAY from this discount tire!!! read more

Horrible horrible service! I was surprised to see that this place carried discounts name. Alex helped me. He was rude and told that there was nothing wrong with my tires. They were put on in 2011!! They are trashed! He said they were not unsafe and that he couldn't give any kind of warranty or deal. Also this location has no water in their fridge. Of course I drove to a different location. One that I usually go to. They will get all the credit for this happy customer. Stay away from this location. They don't care about their clientele and it shows! For god sakes it is 117 degrees out! I had walked out if work to a flat tire and by the time I got the spare put on and walked in, it was 30 min to close. The guys were super sweet and i knew all of my tires were awful and i told them i could replace the one tire and come replace the rest of them when they werent about to close but the guys said they would rather make sure I'm safe out on the road than leave on time. I got in, got out. I live right around the corner so I made an appointment, only to go in and find out I accidentally made it at a different location. But that was no problem! The gentleman honored my appointment time, gave me an estimate of a cheaper yet same efficiency of my existing tires. They quoted me 45 min but before i knew it, I looked up it was already done. I've been a customer of this location for years. I try to remaim loyal in buying new tires from this Discount Tire store becasue they always take care of me when I need a rotation or tire repair. I have purchased many tires for SUVs, sports cars and trailers, in addition to having repairs and rotations perfomed here. While this location can get quite busy, I've never had a bad experience here. Turnaround is as quick as can be reasonbly expected and communication is always excellent. read more

I came in today about 45 minutes before they closed with a flat tire. My tires were still under warranty so they said they would do whatever they could to fix it... They tire was damaged beyond fixing so they gave me a brand new tire, no charge. I only had to pay for installation ($35) but for only $5 more ($40- 10 per tire) I would get a certificate for all my tires so that they would all be covered, past warranty, if this ever happened again, and it included any installation fees. What a great deal! Alex was very helpful from start to finish and they had me out in less than an hour, no appointment. read more

I've been buying tires from Discount Tire since 1986 and doubt I'll be going back. I had been in a few weeks ago and was told my tires were covered under the manufacturer warranty. At the time I couldn't get them replaced so I went back today. The person today didn't seem to believe what I told him, even after telling him the name. Of who I spoke with, the date and the calculations I was given. More than once he said 's you were given the impression' no, I was told what was going to happen and shown the figures in their computer. I was told when the person I originally spoke to would be in, and I could go back and talk to him then. Rather than waste anymore time, I'm looking for a new tire shop. read more

I really like the service that discount tire provides. My trip to discount on Friday of last week was great, I had no issues with the service or staff. However, there were a couple of corporate guys at the location during my visit. It seems they were trying to pump up the staff on promoting credit cards. Maybe there was more to their visit, but that I what I got out of it. They made the sales associate make sure to "pitch me the offer". I went in because of a nail in my tire and made an appointment online the same day. I got there and the parking lot was crowded but organized. I walked in and was instantly greeted and waited 2 minutes in line for an employee, John, to address me. He immediately went and checked my tires and came back with recommendations to get new tires soon because of their condition. I told them just the patch today and they didn't mind and gave me a 45 minutes wait time. I don't think I was there 30 minutes before it was all done. The next employee, Henry I believe, said they gave me a great deal on the patch and told me that they hoped I would consider them when I was ready to buy and sent me on my way! I am very impressed with the service. I went in today with a flat tire they repaired it and unfortunately once I made it home. It was flat again. Not there fault. There was another puncture. They were very quick and pleasant when I returned to their store. Took my car in this afternoon, I have been having problems with pressure light coming on over the course of a year. I figured I might need new tires or have to patch one up. Either way, I was feeling a bit anxious wondering what the cost was going to be. I brought my car in and I was surprised not only by quick service but everyone was friendly. One of the technicians did a walk around with me, checked my pressure and told me they would check to find the source of the leak. In true auto body nature, I expected them to find something, anything just to sell me a set of tires or pay for services. WOW, what a surprise, they simply put air in my tires, did an inspection and told me my tires were just fine. NO CHARGE!!! The change in temperature was to blame for the pressure light coming on. WHAT??? YOU ARE NOT trying to sell me something I don't need!? You have no idea what it feels to walk away from a auto shop and feel that they are being honest. Got a piece of some sort of long metal junk that punctured my tire in the tread part recently that just put a damper on my day. I was able to get the tire changed and at least get on my day a little late to work and whatnot. After coworkers recommended discount tire as having great service, I gave them a call and let them know my situation early on in the morning. I spoke to a gentleman by the name of Pat who told me to come on in whenever I had a free moment and they'd take care of me. After work I was able to get to this discount tire location. After seeing how many people were in waiting on a Friday night just before close I was a little skeptical. Within 30 seconds I was greeted by Pat who was able to personally come and take a look at my broken tire. He assured me that they'd be able to fix it up... free of charge (what!?)! I only waited a good 30 minutes before the guys had me back on the road with my tire back on my car and the spare all put away nicely in my car. I couldn't have had a better experience dealing with an issue like this. Thank goodness for the great people who work at discount tire, especially Pat, who made me feel like I was truly a customer (without charging me anything for the service) and not a number in and out the door.
