Went in to get new tires for a 2004 GMC Envoy. After getting the vehicle back and bringing it back home to put the wheel locks back on, the hubcap clips inside were broken (you can see the pieces on the floor). It broke because they forced on the hubcaps and also looks like they forcefully picked them out because theres damage to the edges,even though they are super easy to remove. Another thing they didn't do was check the tire sensor as we specifically mentioned it to Octavian? when we brought in the vehicle. He went to check and said that the sensor is fine and the tires are just low on air but they'll fix it for us if is broken. Which doesn't make sense because that's how we know the sensor is off because we have already put air in them. Once we got the car back, we realized the sensor still said low tire pressure even w the new tires. So they never fixed it or were told anything about it like Octavian said it would be fixed. They just handed us the keys and receipt and told us they'll see us when we go for the free services. read more

Very professional and quick service. Prices are quite reasonable and their tire warranty actually seems to be a good deal. Most warranties are just a chance for the business to charge you extra, unlike most I will probably actually use their warranty, I have bad luck with cars. read more

Octavian provided me AWESOME cusotmer service! I came in with my spare tire on the car. They were busy but repaired my tire very quickly. When it was done, all the bays were full so Octavian brought a hand jack out to my car in the parking lot to put the tire back on! He spent the time to properly replace the spare and related equipment in my trunk. He wanted to confirm my tire sensor was off and helped me through resetting it. I came to discount tire to get a low tire checked. They lied and said the tire could not be fixed, I took it elsewhere and they fixed it with no issues. They also lied and said my tread was bad when it is fine. The wait was over 2 hours! Additionally they were playing country music which sets my teeth on edge... they refused to change the music. I chose to sit outside in 109 degree heat rather than listen to their horrible music! No benches were even located in the shade and they were too hot to sit on! The customer service sucks! I am handicapped but was forced to find a place to sit on the ground in the shade... the lack of handicapped parking is also an issue! The one spot was taken and they made me walk to the other side of the building to park rather than move it for me. read more

First off I would just like to say that I have never been to a mechanic or a tire shop where I felt like I was being ripped off or taken advantage of. Let alone I have never been to a tire shop where they do it patch jobs for free they even replace the tire monitoring sensor for free. Customer service is always as friendly as ever. The only location ever been to is Camelback & 18th St. I went in before I was going to go on a long road trip just to get my tires aired up and they showed me the tire depth of the front tires & the back tires. The front ones needed to be replaced BAD. I didn't have the money for front tires and so they told me to apply with synchrony bank and I had told them my credit was not the best and I knew I would not get a plied or approved for. So they told me to apply anyway and if I get denied then I can apply through sunbit make installments on the front tires. Which absolutely was an amazing thing I think for them to do it read more

Stopped by on my lunch break to get air in my tires and took over 10 minutes to be acknowledged while sitting at the air station even with workers in the garage noticing I was just sitting here. I hVe a love hate relationship with discount tire... this location rises to the top of bitting my tongue. Not sure if they are understaffed or just overwhelmed. To get a nail removed takes 2 hrs. I offered to wait after being told it would be and 60 min to 70min. At 2 hrs they finally pulled the vehicle in. As a business owner myself I understand that there are days when stuff just goes sideways. However it just seems the same here. If you come to this location just be ready to spend 2-3 hrs. Second to none, and the sales force is knowledgeable and informative. The crew at Discount Tires is second to none. I thought was a small leak in one of my tires. I brought my vehicle to Discount Tire to have the tire looked at before it went flat. Once I arrived at Discount Tires I noticed the place was packed. I asked the sales associate if there was any possibility to have a tire checked for a leak, and he said, "absolutely". The sales associate took my information and advised that I was due for a tire rotation so they would take care of that as well. My tire was just low on air pressure, no leak, the tires were rotated, and I was back on the road in no time flat. Discount Tire has consistently performed at a level seldom seen these days. I'm not suggesting you run over nails to visit this place, but everyone was so professional and relaxed, it was nice waiting to get the repairs. I use a specialty tire designed for the combo dirt & asphalt here in AZ. The tires delivered more than they promised (just came off a set of BFG's that I loved & these work better for the rim road we travel.) Anyway, the tires work great 3+ years in on dirt, that nasty bedrock sharp nasty crap on the rim and the killer Phx streets where people bedazzle the road with nails. (Thank you Phoenix! I'll remember this on my way out.) Great service on a crap hot day in Misery, AZ. Had a flat tire, so i went back to Discount tire where I bought the tires. The nice thing is I had the warranty, service was great, was there 1/2 hr.. Did a great job.. BUT.. when the service guy checked the tire, he said a few times looks like the tire may have to be replaced, may need replaced, might have to replace.... I am a loyal customer to discount tires. They go above and beyond for customer service. I needed new tires and they did not have them in stock, but a young man, (so sorry I don't remember his name). Picked them up for me at another store prior to him coming to work, and he went out of his way to work for this, so I didn't have to wait for a special order. I'm a fan. I set up an appointment for installation of some Pirelli tires to replace some BF Goodrich tires that were driving me nuts as they were showing cupping wear. I set up the appointment for 10 am. They greeted me fairly quickly and before I knew it they were done at 1040am and I was on my way. I'm totally thrilled with the service, I got the replacement certificates and was driving on the road and there was little roar and they handle great. I have been a customer of Discount for years but have not been to this store in a long while. The Mighty Tucson had a nail in one of it's tires. I went to another location (see my OTHER Discount review) to fix it but decided to try this location after a less-than-stellar experience trying to address the same issue. I made an appointment for mid-morning , then showed up and settled in with coffee and some "light" textbook reading. My visit took less than an hour. The employees were all friendly and professional, and the lobby was nice and cool, which made the wait very comfortable. I later called the store manager to thank him for restoring my faith in Discount overall. Went to the store with an appointment (they even took a re-schedule the same morning). I initially came in to replace only two tires. Then the friendly tech showed me that my other two tires were coming apart at the sidewall on the inside (a major safety issue). The waiting room was clean, and the staff were very polite and friendly. I ended up spending more money than I planned to, but otherwise I would have been at risk of a bad blowout. I love Discount! Been going to several of their locations for years.. just recently I had a screw in my tire and had to take a trip to the ol' tire shop. The tire with the screw was covered under warranty and I needed another tore due to wear and tear so I left the store with two new tires and two warranties for under $100! Not only that... but I always stop by to have my tires checked out and they always fill them up with the right pressure of air... and...... my last visit I only waited 20 minutes before my car was done. This company is great because they help to check your tire pressures for free and add tire pressure to it for free if it's low. They have helped added tire pressure to my car for free more than once. One time my tire pressure was very low and they found out there was a nail and they patched it up for no charge!! Great service and work! I stopped at Discount Tire at 2240 W Camelback at 4:50pm today- Saturday- the pressure check station told me I had a screw in one of my tires- they refilled the air pressure & told me it was too late in the day & they were too busy to repair the flat in one of their tires!! They said they would be open on Monday- (2-days later) and wished me good luck. That's not good enough! This is egregious-horrible service! I have purchased tires at Discount Tire for 25-years!
