I'm upset that as a woman I can't even buy tires without my husband. I came to this location with a flat while my husband was at work. They said it was not fixable which is fine I have a spare but they told me that all my tires are bad and I need to replace them immediately or the sidewalls on all my tires will split like my not fixable tire. They also got upset with me when I found out the tire was not fixable I asked them to just put the spare on and they even tried to convince me that was a bad idea. Today I came to a different discount location and when the manager looked at our tires he just said that two needed to be replaced and the other two look pretty good. now like anything else to do with cars I will have to wait for my husband to come with me because males in this industry think that they can take advantage of women and that's not cool at all. Do you not take your vehicle to this location. If you go to get your tires aired for free, make sure they put the caps back on your tire. If you get a flat and they fix it, watch them do it and make sure you document your tire before they fix it because they will put a nail and you're tired just so they can make more money. They claim they don't do that, but I seen them with my own eyes. Even the manager offered to give me a discount however, I refused due to the fact that I'm probably not the only one that they have done this too. There was not a second nail in my tire when I went in and it was conveniently placed at the edge of my tire so I would be forced to buy a new tire. Even the manager admitted that they hammer nails in just to get them out. How do I know that they didn't hammer this additional nail into my tire that was brand new when the other nail in my tire is old? It's because they are crooked. I have nothing really bad to say about discount tires other than don't go to this particular location near I 17 and Camelback. Drive the distance to 16th St. and Camelback because they are more honest and friendlier. They actually say hello to you when you enter the facility and go out of their way to make sure that they know you're there and will get to you when they're done dealing with their other customer or get another employee who's not busy to assist you. I emailed discount tire through Facebook corporate office and they forwarded my email to the discount tire that I filed a complaint against. So if you don't want corporate offices to do that make sure you have expectations of privacy so that the manager of the facility are complaining on doesn't call you to intimidate you and claim that their business does not do that because it would cost them more. Like I said before, go to any other discount tire, but do not go to the one on I-17 and Camelback. If you do watch them closely. You can stand outside of The garage doors and watch your vehicle as long as you don't get in their way. read more

Wait was a bit but as expected since last minute and no appointment. Sergio the store mgr was amazing. They need the air check to be more efficient and quicker. We're not here to play 20 questions. We're here to get a quick air check and go! There's 2 guys out here every time, one talking nonstop and and the other one does the air. Either have both of them doing air on 2 cars at a time or 1 person working. I had a flat tire tire this afternoon so I called discount tire & they were so nice over the phone. Like "yeah no problem have them tow your car in and we're open till 6" like they stay after 6 to get all these appointments done which is amazing and it's hard work. Brett W wasn't the person I spoke with on the phone but he took care of me the rest of the way when I got in. Pretty busy location from my opinion and they do amazing work. He took a look at my flat tire & also pointed out to me my front right tire was low and that he would figure out why and fix the issue since he knew I had a warranty with them even though I didn't know that. They fixed my three tires up within 40 minutes and it was just a really great experience. 5 star customer service, 5 star service in general. I would highly recommend and I will be back. read more

I am a loyal Discount Tire customer because when I was 20, I thought I needed new tires on my car. When they went out to take a look, the guy said, "Your tires are perfectly fine. You won't need new tires for a while." He also taught me how to check the tread. He had an opportunity to take advantage of a naive 20 year old woman and instead sent her on her way. Just unhelpful and could only tell me how busy he is. Running a fleet with 9 vehicles all being serviced by discount tire you would hope you would get some kind of service. Had 3 nails in my tire while I was driving to work & the air was rushing out fast. I pulled off the freeway to get in here before 9am & they were backed up and said that they could not look at my tire until noon. I was disappointed but said ok & grabbed a seat - there was no where else I could go as I was stuck on my way to work. They ended up squeezing in my car in the middle of other work, we're able to latch the tire, and get me out of there in less than 30 minutes. So grateful for these guys! read more

Went in due to a nail on the center tread of my tire. I only knew this because my tire was making a loud tapping sound as I would drive. I was sold a tire and after about an hour and a half wait I headed home. As I was heading out to work later that evening I happened to have my windows down and realized that the tapping sound was still there and that the tire had never been changed. I did have to go back in and all they could offer was an apology. In general I like what Discount has to offer and have been to several throughout the Valley but I feel as if this specific location always takes advantage. Employees seem nice however they do not communicate with each other or actually do what they tell you over the phone. I was told to wait for a call instead of coming in to my appointment because the tires may not arrive until mid day, on top of that they were upgrading my tires to next best thing with no charge to make sure it arrived on the Saturday . I never got a call and when I called Monday nobody knew What I was talking about because the guy that spoke to me was on vacay and didn't leave notes in my file like he said he was doing. It pays to schedule an appointment through their website. You'll love yourself a little more for doing so. Trust me! This time I was certain I had a slow leak in one of my front tires and I wanted to get it looked at before the weekend to avoid the chaos. I'm not one for preplanning and usually just show up but not this time. Going online and scheduling an appointment was a great idea. Once checked in, my car was pulled into the bay and I had my keys back in hand in 37 min. They inspected every tire for pressure and discovered I had a bad pressure sensor and replaced it. He tells me 2 of my tires are #4 and is 1 is a #3 out of 5. Tries to convince me to buy 3 new ones. I said no, just the 1. Today the SAME tire i originally went in for is flat. Im stuck on the side of the road with my kids and my son who is autistic. And of course discount tire is closed on Sundays. The guy didn't even check the tire I told him was flat. He just had them replace the worst looking one. Now I have to go back there WHEN I WAS JUST THERE ON FRIDAY. I went in there so this wouldn't happen!! Also all of the lug nuts on my wheels are very loose. I have road hazard on this tire through them that's 6500 miles old. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I went to simple get air out in my tires and a patch over a cut. I was told I need a whole new tire. They tried to charge me $30 over market until I found a much cheaper tire with service on Fire Stone so they fix a price match. Upon getting in my car after the service was completed I noticed my charge had been stolen along with loose change in my change holder. I was infuriated. A rude employee by the name of GABE was completely condescending and acted as though I misplaced my charger and there no way any stole it out of my car when they 100% did! I had to threaten to call the police in order for them to tell me purchase a new charger and bring the receipt for reimbursement! Don't trust this place!
