A guy working came in n tell me he'll(guy on the phone) be right with me, so I seated. After guy on the phone done I was still waiting so another customer just walk-in n he got served before I did, I didn't come to think anything thought he was doing some paperwork then I stood up and wait behind the guy who serve before me then desk guy tells me that he'll be right with me! So I grab a seat. Then another customer came in and she got serve before me!!!! What!?!?!? So I gave him a look and dude is still clueless; so I fucking left! Sat there for 30minutes on a slow Friday and served two people ahead of me, I think I'll take my business elsewhere! I wanna add that a time before I had problem with this place! I immediately got a tire pressure warning while I was on the road. This particular store happened to be close by. So, I had them take a look at it. They found a nail in the tire. They were able to fix the tire and get me back on the road very quickly. Plus, they didn't charge me anything for the repair. Would definetly go to this location again. read more

My wife took her car in for 2 tires and had a fully functioning tire pressure monitoring system. They told her one of the sensors wad "bent" and needed to be replaced. She called me and I told her that was nonsense and to refuse the work, the TPMS was working fine. The tire guy handed her the "defective" sensor and told her the light would stay on until it was fixed. There was nothing physically or functionally wrong with the sensor they removed. They were never authorized to remove the sensor and didn't tell my wife until she checked out that they had disabled the system. I was furious and went back up there to have the manager explain to me why they disabled the tpms. He said the sensor was corroded (not bent like the first guy) and might leak someday. I told him that was total bs and he replaced the sensor with a new one for free. I am still incredulous that they would disable a federally mandated safety system in my daughters car, putting her at risk just to make a few dollars on an unnecessary repair. I wanted to warn other people about this and I will also be notifying the BBB and other consumer protection agencies. read more

I was getting my tire pressure adjusted here (which they do as a free drive-up service--worth five stars in itself) when the young man working, Samuel, advised me that one of my tires had picked up a nail. My work is requiring me to travel to Mesquite three times this week, so you can imagine my panic and frustration. I made an appointment to come here on my lunch break, and I am amazed at the service and value of Discount Tire. Not only did Brian guarantee that I'd be in and out in 45 minutes (a guarantee that comes every time you book an appt), he was candid about the problem and showed me my pricing options if a new tire ended up being necessary. Finally, after all this, he managed to patch the hole even though it was just barely on the sidewall (for those who don't know--I sure didn't--holes on the tread can be easily patched while holes in the sidewall usually require complete replacement of the tire). AND THE PATCH WAS FREE. They just ask that when you do need to purchase tires, you come to them. And I definitely, definitely will. read more

The service is outstanding, especially with the road hazard stuff. They regularly rotate and balance my tires at no cost. This place was a huge sigh of relief being that I got my badly punctured flat tire assessed and two new tires installed all in just over half-an-hour (I had scheduled the appointment online the night before). Back home, I was used to sitting for a minimum of 1 1/2 hours and sometimes up to 3 hours for new tires at a different tire shop chain. I already expected to have to get the tire and it's counterpart replaced since they were nearing the end of their life cycle. The price was reasonable and the Discount Tire lifetime warrantee seems great. I'm glad I came here when I had a flat. read more

They have the most choices in tires and always have the lowest prices too (even online prices). Incredible service, amazing people and such a friendly environment. The shop is clean, I feel comfortable being there and they offer me free water bottles while I wait. Every-time I have been to this location I am always greeted with a smile and a hand shake. On top on that, the estimated time for getting service is always on point. I have been to other Discount Tire Stores and I would rather spend more gas money and time to come to this location than any other. I can tell that the employees enjoy their jobs and that the boss takes great care of them, because they take great care of my vehicle. They are very professional while providing a quick and remember-able service. They are gentle pulling my car into the work area, they always watch for objects in the road or other cars driving by to protect my vehicle from any harm. Regardless of the service needed, tire pressure check, tire rotation, tire replacement or nail patching--I trust this location completely with my car because I know they will do it right while thinking about my safety as a driver. My boyfriend took my car in on Saturday because I needed two new tires (the other 2 were in perfect condition) did it quick and for a good price so I was happy! When I finally drove it on Sunday with the new tires once I hit 40mph the steering wheel was shaking so bad I could barely control it! My boyfriend told me no biggie it's just the balance and he will take it back Monday to have them fix it! So he contacts me this morning and informs me that the sales guy told him it wasn't the balance and that I needed to replace the perfectly good other tires... my tires before were way worse and it never shook like that! After much debate with this inexperienced sales guy who was just trying to get me to spend another $200 for no reason he finally took it back and they balanced it and the problem was fixed! I am not a car person but I know better than to replace something that does not need to be replaced! Just another tire shop trying to get you to spend more money than you need to! I'll pass on coming back and just go elsewhere even if it costs more money! read more

My tire kept losing air. I took it into Discount Tire and they found the source of the leak. They repaired it and I was on my way in 15 minutes. They did not even charge me. I have been there in the afternoon and had to wait. It never was bad. The prices are competitive with CostCo and Sams. read more

I found the team up there to be very helpful and professional with finding what I needed for my vehicle. Also they finished my car very quickly. I'm pretty sure I didn't wake up thinking "What a beautiful day. I can't wait to go drop a pile of money to replace my four bald a$$ tires before I try to get my car inspected." For that reason, a 5-Star experience is not really possible. That being said, I got 30,000 miles out of super high performance summer rubber on a car with a track suspension and camber/toe adjustments, so I can't really complain about needing tires. I ended up with a little bit of time in my day and called to see if I could get the car in for four tires (I already had checked stock and knew exactly what I wanted). They scheduled me for about 2 hours later at 10:45. The car was pulled into the bay just after the scheduled time, and I listened to them tell all of the folks without appointments that it would be about 1.5 hours for service. I was out the door for exactly what I expected to pay by 11:30. They massaged the price a little so that I got all four replacement certificates included for about the same price as the web app quoted without them. I have now dealt with this location and the one up on 380, and I am definitely a fan. I have received free tire repairs on tires that weren't even purchased there, and all of the employees are extremely nice. Like all chain auto repair places, the key IMO is to know what you want/need and not get sold on extras and marginally necessary product/service. read more

A cap covering the center of the wheel cover was missing (no idea when it disappeared), and the store volunteered to replace it at their expense, in case they had lost it during a tire repair two weeks ago--the repair at their expense! This is customer service at a truly highly level! I will stick with these folks forever. read more

Horrible experience. Came in and no smile or greeting. Did not inspect the car with me. Also requested new tires to be put on the front (rotation of tires on a front wheel drive) with remaining tires having much tread and tires wear down faster in the front. Car is at no harm with 75 percent tread on the rear of the car. Also, front desk was also arguing with other customers and have off a snooty attitude. Don't come here. read more

Check your bill carefully. I noticed the up charges when I arrived home. They won't give you the bill until you leave. I was charged $24 dollars for four new valve cores. The problem is I was not offered and did not request a tpms kit be installed. I also don't remember a $64 lifetime balance charge last time I had a set of tires installed. To me this looks like $88 in up charges. I called the store. The manager was not available. I called the district office. The district manager was also not available. read more

We have always gone to another tire store but in the past year have had continual problems. The last straw was when we took our car back in because of a metal clunking sound. We had bought the tires recently at this particular company and they couldn't find anything. Told us if it happened again, to bring it back and they would check again. We needed two new tires and my husband found a good price at Discount Tires. Shortly after they took my car back, the manager came up to us to inform us that when the hubcap was removed, a lug nut fell out. Now why couldn't the other company find it? (Laziness!) My actual initial experience when purchasing my tires here was good. I bought the yk580s for my Toyota Sienna. I was told there was a mileage warranty and I should get close to 60000. Just 30000 miles later the Tires were near bald. I took the vehicle on its the scheduled maintenance to make sure it was rotated and balanced to avoid voiding the warranty. One rotation I came in and was told the tire was nearly flat. The guy said that he could give me about 30 be tire for the tread that was left. I told him I would be back in a few weeks as he said there was a promo for Memorial Day. I went in to buy new tires at discount tire off of 121 on Custer. I came in the day before and got a quote that was saved by billy the assistant manager. He quoted me 755 and would buy the tread to reduce that price of possible. I came in the next morning and was told by a very rude sales man by the name of Michael there is no warranty and he quoted me 800. Only after I had to argue with him did he find the quote for 755 that he said was not there. He then stated that he could not buy any tread back as it is close to bald. I told him that is an error as I was told different when I bought the tire. He said we are all human but we don't make mistakes at discount tire. Michael at 121 and Custer was rude and unprofessional, and really seemed like he was trying to take my money. Both locations I will not due business with in the future. I request a call from each locations managers to resolve this issue as I am out a lot out of pocket due to being misquoted and told wrong information. read more

The quality of customer service at this particular discount tire has dramatically gone down hill. I have been buying my tires from discount for years, and have been having my tires serviced at this particular location for the last six years. The last three times that I have gone in I have just noticed that I am not greeted and they act as though they are too busy to assist me even though I maybe the only person standing in line. Not only that, they always try to act as though they cannot find information pertaining to my warranty in the system. I have been having issues with tires that I bought just a little over a year that do not even have 10,000 miles on them. Had a slow leak in one of my tires. Picked this location because it is near home, and because I'd heard good things about them. Scheduled an appointment the day before because a long holiday weekend was starting and I figured they'd be busy. When I got there, the waiting area was already filling up, but there were several employees at the counter and I didn't have to wait to get checked in. They had my appointment in the computer, looked at my car's history from other store visits (different locations) and suggested it was time for a rotation. They took it into the service area promptly, found and fixed the leak and balanced the tire (it was a screw in the tread) and rotated the tires. When they pulled the car up to the door for me, it had been only 35 minutes total. No charge for any of it. Being retired that was very much appreciated. So, friendly helpful staff, quick turnaround, right price, good service with no hassle. read more

I initially went to the Discount Tire on Spring Creek a week ago on a Saturday and was told there were 12 or 13 people in front of me and it would be an hour and a half. The employee I spoke with suggested I go to the Discount Tire on Park as he had just left there and there were not many people there. I got to the store on Park around 11:00 a.m. and needed get a tire fixed that had a nail in it. There were maybe 5 people ahead of me and I was told it would be an hour and 15 minutes before they got to me. There were two gentlemen who were totally hacked off because they had both been there over an hour and a half. When they finally pulled my car into the garage, there were two other cars in there and three people were working on a Mercedes Binz while there were at least 4 people who came in behind me waiting for their cars to be taken care of. There were literally 4 employees standing around inside the store and 4 or 5 in the garage. The employees at the Spring Creek shop were moving like lightning while the employees at the Park Avenue store appeared to be moving in reverse. Never going back to this store again. read more

i went to discount tire to find a bad tire that was causing a wobble. the tech went to my car in the parking lot and shook all my tires....just to come in and say it was a mechanical problem...so i took it to meineke who told me i needed 1500.00 worth of work on my car....where then i was thinkin i need to junk my car. then i took it to another place ....and guess what.....the problem was an out-of-round tire.....discount tire YOU SUCK!!!! and mieneke!!!! read more
