I brought in my wife's card to get her 4 tires changed. Process was seamless for the most part, they tried to upsell me on better tires, but I declined and got them put on within an hour with no problems. The problem occurred a few days later when my wife got in her car, and it very obviously smelled of smoke. We have a relatively new car 2020 Jeep Compass, and it is the only car that we use to take around our 17 month old. When my wife called to inquire about the smoke, the manager, Justin, told her that he asked around his crew and NOBODY SMOKES on their staff, which is a hilarious lie, and he told her that she could change out the cabin air filter. Besides that, he said "I don't know what else I can do for you." (I heard the voicemail). He apologized, but sounded relatively annoyed and monotone. What percentage of Discount Tire employees smoke or vape worldwide on average? 50%? 75%? It's HAS to be pretty high, so the notion that nobody smokes on his staff is ludicrous. He also had some story that some random guy was smoking a cigar that day in the waiting area, so maybe that could be the cause of the smoke inside the car? He seriously said this. As far as something you could do for us? How about YOU change out the cabin air filter, because my wife sure as fuck isn't doing it. It means I'm doing it, Justin. Plenty of places to get your tires changed in the Valley, and I won't be back to this one. Not everyone in the world smokes, but if there's any industry where the majority of people DO smoke, it's the auto repair industry. TL;DR- stay way from this location. Too inexperienced and will not tell you when they damage your car. Biggest mistake. When I got a nail in one of my "new to me car" tire I took it to this location close to my house. Past experiences with discount tire have been great. Including one incident where the Gilbert location went out of there way to rescue my Wolfe and kids from a dead battery in a nearby parking lot. No charge and for that I will be forever grateful. This time however I decided to buy 4 new tires with road hazard since my one damaged by the nail could not be repaired. After it taking 24hrs to get the tires in the size I needed they were mounted and balanced. After picking up the car I noticed a new vibration over 40 mph. I ended up taking the car back 3 times because they didn't bother to clean the beads and remove stickers causing my low tire pressure warning indicator to come on once a week. The last time I brought it back they finally seem to have addressed the two tires that had been loosing air but still failed to balance them properly. To make matters worse after getting the car home I discovered the lower panel behind the passengers side front tire is now dented and coming out. I looked back at photos I took when I got the car to confirm this was not just something I hadn't noticed. So now my joy in driving my car has been ruined by the improper work direct tire has done. I am looking for a new tire shop to properly balance my tires and a body shop to repair the damage they caused. Do yourself a favor and find a better place with proper car lifts (not floor jacks) to service your tires. read more

Just got my tires done early this morning. It started off great they said I would be in and out within 45 minutes but it didn't turn out like that. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We ended up being there for almost 2 hours because my wife already purchased the tires while they were putting them on but she accidentally chose the Queen Creek location.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Me and my children were pretty much held there till they fixed the issue even though we already paid and there was nothing else they needed from me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The biggest issue was what they did to my rims which I will be reaching out to corporate because this happened with my Lexus at the Queen Creek location. I thought I would give this location a try because of my experience at Queen Creek and I regret it deeply. My rims are 24" inches so they are not cheap and they are black so when you scrape them it's very easy to tell. I called on a Friday afternoon after Big O tire told me i didn't have an appointment, even though i made it 3 weeks before and called them to check right before i left work at noon. Not only did they not have any record of my appointment, they did not have my tires & told me they would need to order them and wait 3 weeks to get them plus i needed to pay 50% of the costs before they would order them. On top of that they had quoted me $983 for replacing my four tires. Suddenly, today it was going to cost me $1,599. Enter Discount Tire where i have always gone to in the past on Hunt highway in San Tan Valley. They not only showed that they had 7 of my tired in stock on line, but they verified it on the phone by checking for the tires right there and gave me an appointment for an hour later. I drove over right away, and checked in and 2 minutes later they had my Highlander up in the air and changing all 4 tires out. I got text message updates every five minutes, and my car was out front waiting for me out front in half the time they quoted me. This place was the busiest tire store i have ever been to in my life. Everybody was busting their butts and the young man that worked on my car was very professional and really knew what he was doing. But the real treasure at this store was the front counter people! They were flipping customers left & right, and were bending over backwards to accommodate the 30 or so customers and every one of them was working hard just as pleasant as they could be and well mannered too. I needed 4 tires for my SUV. I priced the tires over the phone and then scheduled in advance with this store. The price was what they quoted but to my surprise, they didn't mention anything to me about the tire pressure monitor light (TPM) being addressed. I didn't bring it up at the time I dropped it off as I assumed they would either reset the light or ask to fix or repair any that might be bad. I picked up my vehicle and to my chagrin, the dash light was still on. I asked the clerk why they didn't address this issue and he replied that they just replaced the tires as per the quote. I advised him that I rely on their expertise and guidance and if there was an upsell that was needed to fix the TPM's, then I assumed they would call me (I went to lunch while they did the install) to advise me of this optional repair. Based on time constraints, I wasn't able to stay for the added repair. Each wheel costs $60 and he said he could do them for $45 (but not until I asked for some concessions due to their error). I then researched and other competitor's can rebuild the TPM for about $8 per wheel... First world problems I know, but aside from prompt service and a reasonable price for 4 tires, some attentiveness and knowledge on the TPM issue would have been helpful for my older, but well kept Lexus RX350. read more

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Long story short I was not offered a resolution until I called the POLICE TO FILE THEFT CHARGES. Even then. After being there first thing in the morning, I did not get a call from corporate with the resolution until 530 pm. I recently purchased 5 truck tires from a different seller, tires that Discount did not offer within the timeframe I wanted them, however I went to this store to have them mounted. Now mind you, I was only upgrading tires because I wanted beefier all terrain tires. The tires that were previously on my truck were brand new Cooper Discover Ht tires (since I just bought this truck) , but they were just not what I needed. I asked the attendant to remove those tires and throw them in the back of the truck because I had a buyer lined up for those tires later that day. At my surprise once the tires I brought in were mounted and balanced, I was informed that they could not return the ones they just removed. Somehow in the same time it took them to install the new tires they also got rid of the tires they removed. They sent them away on their tire truck and couldn't get them back. I offered to come back in a few hours but the attendant stated he could not guarantee they could get my tires back. At this point I was beyond frustrated. So I asked for my tires back, or the equivalent of the price I was selling the tires for to my private buyer. $600. These were 5 Cooper Discover Ht tires, which Discount actually measured during the service and indicated they were new, they still had the nubs. Brian Black, the sale manager did not suggest a resolution, semblance of a lifeline OR suggestion that he cared to fix the problem. He and Discount Tire as a whole showed absolutely no empathy to try to resolve the issue, they had a bad attitude as if my frustration was unfounded and unwarranted. Their customer service was lacking in every way. I called the police to report a theft, when the police arrived to Discount Tire the attendant had solution which was not previously offered. He indicated the truck that took the tires was locked and could not be accessed until Wednesday, at which point they would TRY to locate the tires and return them, otherwise would pay me.the equivalent of the value I would receive from my private sale. The sales manager at that point agreed to write me out a receipt specifying they took my tires. The police indicated if Wednesday came and I did not have my property back they would then file charges. I got home and called corporate and finally spoke with someone in the position to fix the problem the first question Ryan Sparey asked was " I understand we messed up the resell of your tires?" This was never to do about the resell of the tires, or the value I placed on them for resell. The entire issue, and even the reason behind this review is because Discount Tire removed my property from the premises, stole my property, offered no resolution, and expected to okie dokie me out the door. When I finally got my tires back I was give 5 tires, one of which was bald and undriveable. My property was not returned in the same condition at all. I am still out one tire. read more

I have been purchasing premium tires from Discount Tire exclusively since that business opened their doors. They still have too notch service and professional sales people. Post Covid prices have gone through the roof. The Michelin tires I purched today for my 1/2 ton pick-up were in the $250 range plus $57 for the single tire optional tire guarantee which I have always purchased in the past at half that price. I opted out on the optional insurance for the first time ever. I purchased two tires rather than replacing all four. My cost was still well over $500. For the two tires. I will start shopping for my tire needs in the future. Discount Tire has great people and great service however has become way more expensive than my last set. AMAZING experience! I never got out of my car, and the service was prompt & professional. I went to Discount Tire to get my tires rotated. Someone greeted me at the check in sign outside. I told him what I wanted, and he had me pull right into the bay. The technicians lifted the car up, rotated the tires and had me out of there in less than 10 minutes.
