Worst customer service EVER!!! I have had ongoing issue with my AC in my car along with my power steering. Over the course of two years I spend almost $4000 in AC part and $600+ in power steering. My car sounded like a banchie and I brought it back to them to say it's just a remanufacture part. After months of driving my car so loud I couldn't take it anymore, I look under the hood to find they never filled up the power steering fluid, I put it in myself and the squeaking went away. I had my AC soup to nuts replace, the compressor, condenser, lines, fittings almost $3000 in parts and labor. The AC was still warm. I took it back several times before they realized they put too much oil in the system and not enough coolant. After they fixed that it worked for 1 year. It blew hot again, I took it back and they said I need a charge, I was fine with that, I went 1 summer and it got hot again. Now, less than two years later and $3300 in labor, my AC is broken again. I took it in again, they stated it was a bad compressor, I stated it was just replaced, and they said I just missed my warranty window by less than a month. I said fine, replace it I want cold AC. I spent another $1000 on a compressor & labor, I got my car back and the AC was hot AGAIN. I took it back, now they said my condenser also needs replaced and it has a hole. I asked why they didn't catch that the first time, so the car went back again, they had it for a week. I went to pick it up, they gave me my car back, but with no paperwork. I was skeptical. I drove it for two days and confirmed, it is still blowing hot. I went up to the shop to ask for paperwork about the replaced condenser, they cannot produce the paperwork, but 'swear' the work was done. I said fine, let me speak to the mechanic, we went to the car, popped the hood and went through some checks, he said, it looks like you have a cooling issue, this is not a coolant cap. I said nobody but this specific Big O Tire has touched this car in 6 years so it was this shop that did this. And if the condenser was just replaced, they would have been A) noticed, or B) done poor work and forgot to put on the radiator cap. To this day, I have lost more in the AC than the car is worth. DO NOT TAKE your car here for mechanical work, tires at best, but STAY WAY FROM getting any work done here. They will lie to your face and take your money. Brought another vehicle in today. Unfortunately I got James again. He acts annoyed when you ask him a question, his responses are short and rude. I asked him nicely if he could talk nicer to me, and he started chirping back. The amount they try to upsell is crazy. I could handle that, but the customer service is just brutal. update* took 7.5 hours for a SCHEDULED AND CONFIRMED oil change. asked james if they prioritize appointments and why they do not communicate if a service will take longer than expected. he said "we typically do" to which i stated he didn't. he said when we dropped off the car he stated it would be a "few hours" okay james a few is 2-3, not 7.. again with no communication the car would be longer and again not a single "sorry" or "i apologize" during this conversation. oh and no manager for the next 4 days. so who i can speak to about this? only james. currently 6 hours after my scheduled oil change time and still haven't heard back. called them and was told it would still be another 45-60 minutes because they JUST took the car back, yet the tracking on my car shows it locked, hood close, and in the exact same location that it was parked at when i dropped it off... car was moved 4 minutes after call was ended. their employees needs an attitude check and the entire location needs better time management because why is an oil change taking longer than my work day? this is ridiculous and disappointing. no apology, no empathy, no help. read more

All was good until I picked up my car from getting 4 new tires and did a walk around of my car. 1. Two valve stem caps were barely threaded on. 2. I get a low tire pressure light while driving home. Was on my way to a friends house with my kids and my minivan when I noticed my left rear tire was leaking air fast. I pulled into Big O Tires desperate to get this taken care of ASAP as i was also going to leave on vacation the next day as well. Even though Big O Tires, was about to close within a 1/2 hour, the service writer with the red beard was kind enough to get my Van up in the air and take care of the issue so that i could get back on my way with my 3 very hungry kids. Avoid this place even if it's your only option. They somehow missed that my wife's car needed new brakes despite their "thorough" examination. When we took it to a reputable shop after we noticed a noise after a few days, they were amazed that it was missed. Replaced the front axle on my car, botched the seal and missed that the rear shocks were bad. After their mandatory "alignment" the car suddenly developed a horrible shake on the highway. Took my car to a reputable shop to check out the noise, balanced my tires and fixed the horrendous shaking, fixed the shocks that were "missed" and discovered the botched seal on the axle. We took the car back to Big O Tires on Saturday morning, and they said they would fix it as soon as possible. The cashier also had a few smart mouth comments about how he's surprised my car runs so well since he believes that particular model was junk. Received no communication from that point until Monday morning, we had to keep calling for updates. The caller on Monday tried to then say the rear shocks, which are brand new, needed replacement. I politely declined and asked that since I couldn't pick up the car until after closing could they put the paperwork and my keys in the glove box and lock the doors. I found my car unlocked, papers strewn on the dash and keys in a cup holder in plain sight. Never take your vehicle to this place! read more

I had a leak in my tire and called in the morning to see if they could squeeze my vehicle in. Not only did they do a great job repairing my tire (at no charge to me), but they were extremely sweet to my kids. I had a wood screw puncture one of the slighly over 1 year old tires on our CRV. It was on the tire shoulder, so couldn't be repaired. Their salesman tried to sell me 3 different brand tires because he didn't have the brand in stock, that I needed. One of the other salespeople showed him how to read his computer screen, he had one in his warehouse. Then he quoted me $335 for 1 replacement tire. I had paid about $900 for the set last year. He turned the screen around so I could see the charges and he had loaded the sale with every option they offered. I tried to tell him that I didn't need all the extra add-ons, he started arguing with me. Then he brought his fellow salesperson in to the conversation. I thanked them for their time and left. I have used Big O for years. BUT I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATON AGAIN! I purchased new tires in June. I was talked into the tire alignment program, at 259.99. I was also told that I needed brakes. I did not! I made an appointment with my regular mechanic, based on what Big O stated. They were very pushy about me needing brakes. So, I left a message with my mechanic and dropped off the car after hours for next morning service. My mechanic calls me and states my brakes were just fine! Then when I made the appointment to get my tires rotated and aligned, I was told to bring it in, there was no waiting. They could get me in and out. I drove over before my workday started. Gave them my car. I walked to lunch and came back an hour later, and they hadn't started me car yet. After sitting for another 15 minutes, I took my car and left, not having any service done! I will never go back to this location! My car started overheating on the way home from work and the ac stopped working so I dropped it off at Big O by my house since they were open on the weekend. After inspecting my car they told me that I had several leaks, needed a new radiator, new coolant system and all sorts of new parts for 4200. It didn't sit right with me so I decided to get a second opinion at Sandy and Sons in Mesa and they seemed offended by that. After Sandy and sons inspected my car it turns out that I didn't have any leaks, I didn't need a new radiator or cooling system. Everything was just covered in gunk built up overtime blocking the airflow and needed to be cleaned and ended up only being 1200. Big O just wanted to replace all brand new parts without even really inspecting it and they still charged me $200 for the "inspection". I will never go to this place again and I will tell anyone who's asking about car shops to never ever go to this place. I wish I could give negative stars just such an awful place read more

I have come here for years. From service to multiple tire packages. I brought my car In For a routine full synthetic oil change and tire rotation. Went to pick up my vehicle and my tires were never rotated. Manager yelled at his tech asking if he did and he said no. They rotates my tires after I already waited for 8 hours on my car. The tech pulled my car out of the bay aggressively and slammed my car door when he was done. Never morning I decided to do a quality check of the job and found that they shorted me 2 Quarts of oil after charging me for an extra Quart. Never got my inspection report, oil change sticker or have the tech reset my oil change indicator. Needless to say after 6 years of giving my business here. Firstly I have been happily going to Big O for 21 years (and their competitor), in Mesa, Gilbert and most recently near my latest house. On June 9, 2020 I spent $1,580.86 on tires for one of my vehicles an $80K+ Dodge Ram Laramie Dually. This is a luxury truck, not a work truck, and this was the first set of tires since new -- those had lasted 51,687 according to the Big O receipt. The salesperson talked me in to the Big Foot brand (quiet on the road, but reasonable off road if needed). They would last longer and they would look good on the truck. Over the next few months I drove it back and forth to the east coast (instead of flying) and put just under 32K highway miles on it. Yesterday one of the tires blew by my house in Virginia. No one here has heard of Big Foot so I called the Queen Creek Big O and talked to the sales guy, he recommended an "affiliate" called NTB. I went over there and they examined the tire as and then they stated that the other rear tires were "completely worn out". They said if I put one new tire on there it would be bad for the transmission (more tread, bigger diameter). We called the dealer and instead of handling it they gave us a 1-800 number. Customer service told NTB it would take 7 working days to get a new tire. I called the dealer back and told them NTB was suggesting new tires on the back since they had worn out. I was referred to the manager "Mike" who asked if I had them rotated and I said yes when it gets serviced by the dealer. He said terms of the warranty was every 5000 miles and had been for years. I said who gets their tires rotated on a dually every 5000 miles, who has that sort of time? To cut a long story short their nationwide warranty, is not conveniently nationwide. They are a local company and Big Foot is their brand which means if you blow a tire, or have road damage out of the South West you are luckless. The minimum warranty on the receipt says 3 YR 60,000 miles, it says 3 years roadside assistance, it says 3 years Free Replacement. It says nothing about rotating the tires. I was forced to buy 6 new tires (so they would match front and back) and Big O Queen Creek made it very clear they were not covering any of it -- No discounting (based on mileage), or refunding any of my money. I think some of the bad reviews come from people already feeling bad inside, (like they are spiritually sick) and therefore they are projecting shitty energy onto people- but in all honesty- I would rate this place an 8/10 to an 8.5/10 - it's quick, it's local... I've been here multiple times. Anyone who lives out here in San Tan or Queen Creek knows there is a ton of stuff in the road from all the recent construction. They've replaced tires, brake pads, and more for me. The last time I was there, I heard a weird noise the next day. I drove up and they saw me immediately. I have used BOT for years! and almost every location. I have never had a problem and they had earned my trust. We now go to the BOT in San Tan Valley and I have always delt with Cameron who is exceptional at customer service. I called them Thursday and asked if I could drop off one of my two vehicals that they both service, set an appointment for an oil change. Yesterday I called and spoke to a gentleman (not naming) and asked if we could drop off around 1pm instead? he said sure we have time and I said OK. I just wanna be sure because we're gonna stay around that area and wait. He said no problem. Come on down an hour past maybe a little more I called back and spoke to the same gentleman and said from where I'm at, I can see that my car hasn't even left the parking lot. Have you guys started the oil change and he said hold on let me check. I already knew because the store I was at I could see that my car was still sitting there in the parking lot. He came back on the phone and said I'm sorry we're not gonna be able to get to it for probably 2 to 2 1/2 more hours. And I'm thinking if I hadn't called they probably wouldn't have called me and I would've still been waiting for like 3 to 4 hours, just a courtesy call would've helped us and we would've come and got our car earlier and found another place. He apologized and said we didn't realize we had more cars and we are backed up. I'm fine with that as long as you call me and keep me informed instead of us staying at a store and waiting, if you know, my car is gonna take longer than you tell us then give the customer a courtesy call. My husband went to get the car and the gentleman was already walking out to hand him the keys. If I was, Big O Tire I would've compensated us maybe a free oil change for all the time that we had to wait and then we didn't even receive a call that would've been a 2 to 2 1/2 more hours. So disappointed, now we have to find another shop to do our oil change. i unfortunately can't guarantee that either of our cars will be back to any BOT. read more
