I just moved back home to Mesa 2 weeks ago. I had a normal service that went well, then had to go back because I had a leak in my rear tire. They patched it up, at no charge, and did it quick too. We're very nice and receptive. Yesterday part of my skid plate came undone and was scraping, brought it in this morning and within 10 minutes of being there it was done, also free of charge again. Took my truck in to get the AC fixed took them six weeks. I'm patient the time is not a problem. It's just the amount they wanted to charge me was very very high because they didn't know how to fix it and took them a while. After taking my truck, I noticed there was a loud rattling metal noise at idle, took it back to them and they told me it was my catalytic converter and that it had nothing to do with anything they touched. This was really suspicious because it made no noise before I took it to them drove around a little bit more and thought I think they missed something. Let me take it back to them again. I had them double check and again the guy went down, listening and assured me that it's coming from my catalytic converter. Took it to my Muffler Shop and they said it's not the catalytic converter and it was just a heat plate that was left loose and wasn't tightened. My Muffler Shop fixed it for free. This wasn't the only problem with the truck after Sun Devil auto worked on it... my radio doesn't turn on anymore either so I'll be trying to fix that next. I'm not gonna bother taking it back to Sun Devil Auto. They will likely deny they had anything to do with it. I do not trust them anymore. I will not take any vehicle to them. read more

ZERO STARS This was the WORST auto service experience I've ever had. I went in for an oil change late in the day--about 45 minutes before closing on a Friday evening. I was about to begin my Uber shift and planned to drive for several hours afterward. The photo taken by their service technician in front of the building clearly shows NO DAMAGE to my vehicle. Roughly 45 minutes later, I left the location, got into my car, and drove away. About an hour into driving, I stopped for gas and noticed significant damage to the hood. The shop had already closed, so I called Saturday morning and was told to come back Monday to speak with the manager, Ken. Ken showed NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS and no interest in hearing my explanation. His immediate response was that because I didn't report the damage before leaving the parking lot, they were not liable. I asked if they would review their surveillance footage, but that request was ignored. I also asked if there was any way this type of damage--appearing to come from a vertical impact onto the hood--could have occurred on-site. He dismissed the possibility, stating his team would have reported it. When I requested to speak with a senior manager, Ken said he had already escalated it, and they both concluded it was not Sun Devil Auto's responsibility because I did not report the issue before leaving. The entire conversation was focused on denying liability, with NO INTEREST in helping resolve the situation. My insurance company reviewed the photos and determined the damage was not caused by another vehicle. Additionally, I remained in my car the entire time after leaving the shop, so I would have noticed if the damage had occurred elsewhere. This matter has been reported to the Arizona Attorney General's Office - Consumer Affairs Division. Interestingly enough - this EXACT ISSUE HAPPENED TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER. Called the 877 number and spoke to someone and they said they would escalate it and upper management would call me back within 48-72 hours to resolve the issue. Crickets still. Still waiting .They are terrible and apparently don't want to. Done with Sun Devil Auto for good. Beware folks. read more

We had work done twice within a week two different invoices, they charged two different labor rates. The first was reasonable $140/hr but the very next week charged us $205/hr read more

I've been going to Sun Devil in Queen Creek for quite awhile now, and I would never reccomned it to anyone anymore. There has been so many issues after Dave left, and they have no idea what they are doing! I brought my mother's car in for an appointment, for a simple oil change. They didn't start on her car till 3:00pm, and we got no phone call saying they were behind or when it was finished. I went up to the front desk to see what was going on and they didn't seem to care at all! Why make an appointment just for your vehicle to sit there throughout the rest of the day? nd was told yes no problem- we will be able to give you a diagnosis before 11:30 am. When I went in I told them that I have to have some sort of answer about what needs to be repaired as I work all the way in Peoria and they again assured me that they would definitely let me know by lunch time what the diagnosis is. They never called me and when I called it had already closed for the day Saturday. So I had to rent a car for work. I called Monday just before lunch to find out what the heck was going on and they told me they hadn't even looked at it. I told them that they hadn't advised me they would have an answer Saturday and that this was becoming an irritating issue- the dishonesty- they lied again and said that they would have someone pull it up and look at it and they would call me right back. 2 hours later I called back to ask what the heck was going on. 1st guys name was Matt who totally lied and never even called back- James I spoke to second and he advised they still hadn't even looked at the truck and that Matt didn't do what he said he was going to do. Then they told me they wouldn't even have a diagnosis until Tuesday and not sure when on Tuesday. I then had to immediately call the car rental place and extend my car rental. Now I am driving back all the way from Peoria to San tan valley to pick up my truck after about 4 different times I was bullsh*tted by this place. Wasting my time, my money, and being dishonest and not giving a sh*t about me or my time. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone for any reason . Please do not bring your vehicle to the Queen Creek Sun Devil Auto servicing center! I took my automobiles there and spent enough money to put down on a house. I've had to return each automobile three or four times because the work was not done correctly. They have had my autos for several weeks and are still unable to repair what was diagnosed. They have repeatedly harmed the interior and exterior of my vehicles. The car was supposed to be fixed, but they never corrected the leak, and the car was parked on my driveway, damaging it. When I took my car in for a simple tire balancing, I was informed that I required control arms (upper and lower). I replaced them for $2,000, but my car still shook when I drove it. I returned it and was told that my tires were out of round; the tires were brand-new, but I replaced them, nevertheless. The car still shakes, so I took it back, and they believed it was the steering, which cost around $4,000. Needless to say, they then informed me that they have no idea why the car shakes, but that they assume it is due to the steering column. Now they replaced a leak three times, the car is still leaking, but it is a new leak, and guess what that part cost $3,000. You had my automobile for four weeks and told me you didn't know it had a leak. I get it home and phone you the next day to tell you that my car is still leaking and that you had it for 4 weeks and didn't know I will never take any of my cars to Sun Devil again! Dave, the manager, is no longer there, and the individuals in charge have no idea what they are doing! Don't learn the lesson I did; they have no idea what the !@#$ they're doing! read more

Went there to fix AC and came back fixing breaks, turbo hose, and $1300 later, my car engine light turns on. Not to mention when they attached parts like hose in the car, part was very loose. Do not take your car there unless you want your car dented and Sun Devil Auto won't take responsibility. My car was in was in their possession for 4 days. When I picked it up there were 3 new dents in the driver side door. The manger was made aware, he claimed to have reviewed the security footage from the parking lot and insisted that nothing in their shop could have caused the dents. However, I find it hard to believe that they thoroughly reviewed every minute of the footage over the 4 day period. Additionally, there are various ways the car door could have been dented while in their shop. Whether the damage occurred within the shop or in the parking lot, the fact remains that the car was dented while under their care, and they chose not to address the issue. Therefore, unless you want your car to potentially sustain damage without any resolution from Sun Devil Auto, it is best to consider alternative options. read more

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR TO SUN DEVIL AUTO!! What was a simple oil change turned into an absolute disaster. Drove the vehicle 2 miles and there was oil on the headlights and dripping oil from under the car. They somehow managed to damage the front headlight and it is ruined and discolored now! I had an appointment at 10am, took off work. Drove to Sun Devil Auto, two staff people were at the front. They told me the appointment was not in their system and they could not take my car. I told them the day/time I called to make the appointment, showed them on my phone the day and time I called. The two conversed, knew the Sun Devil employee who took my call and then I was told again they could not take my car, and this time with a tone that I was doing something wrong. I offered to drop it off. And this time the employee became belligerent. Worst customer service I ever experienced. One last point, I was a return customer with 3 cars they serviced last year. While running the inspection my battery failed the test and they offered to sell me a new one. HERE'S THE BEST PART- they didn't harass me when I said I was going to get my battery at the place it was already under warranty. They were quick, honest, and affordable. Took my car in for a 7:30 appt on 1/18 due to an engine light that was coming on then going off, for a diagnostic. David (manager), when I set up the appt. via phone, indicated initially it would take (2) hours for a diagnostic. When I arrived at 7:30, David wasn't there so John helped me, he told me the mechanic was due in at 8:00 and he'd get him on it right away. Told him I'd walk to a nearby restaurant for a bite, sit tight and wait to hear, he indicated he would call with an update/results etc, well, at 10:30, I called in and spoke to John, nothing had been started yet and he said it would be sometime in the afternoon, one might think he would have called me to advise..guess the mechanic wasn't coming in until the afternoon. I call that poor customer service and lack of professionalism! Didn't have the common courtesy to call me, I could have been sitting at the restaurant for hours! When I walked back to pick up my vehicle, there was no apology nor caring, in fact he had the guts to ask me if I wanted to bring it back, not on your life. I can't say enough good things about this company and location! They have fixed my sons car as well as mine. They are very courteous, efficient and don't try to sell you something you don't need. I brought my car in for an oil change and they looked it over and were able to fix the control arms that same day. My only complaint is my own fault and it's that I forgot the coupon and didn't get to save the $75. Will still definitely be going back for all my car needs! read more
