I have a sports car that twice a year (summer--winter, winter--summer) needs the tires swapped out. They are always professional and do a great job. I bought the original Blizzak tires from Firestone, and the swapping (tires are mounted on different set of wheels) is effortless. The first time I needed the tires mounted on new wheels they also did a great job. I once made the mistake of doing this in the Brown Deer location and that was a mistake. They over inflated the tires. Brookfield location was worth the drive. Highly recommended. read more

Both Bryan and Ronnie were very helpful and explained things well without feeling like I was being talked down to. I brought my car into this location for them to do diagnostics on my heat and why it wasnt coming out properly. These idiots topped off my oil as "complimentary" to their services. When not needed. And they didn't put the oil plug back on the tank!!!!!!! I was about to trade my car in, and not only did they ruin my chances of doing that. But I had to go into the ER that night for oil fume problems. Once again if you want a job done right. Do not go here or any other Firestone location. To the slaves that work here. I got my car serviced in April with a full inspection. They quoted me almost $6k in work and I was only able to complete $2k of work at the time, which included new front brakes. Well, a week later, all of the sensors in my car are going off like crazy and my brakes are locking up on me while I'm on the freeway. I unfortunately called back yesterday and had to deal with a condescending employee who was certain they did a good job. "Magically", after another inspection, they found something "new" that was broken (wheel bearings) that was NOT on my original quote from last month. I should point out that these wheel bearings were extremely rusted, so this is not something that just started failing within the past month. These parts have been failing for awhile, well before April. If you're so certain you did a good job with the first inspection in April, how are you magically finding new things in such a short amount of time? While some of the service men here are honest/awesome, I believe a few others are continually BS-ing me to force me to shell out more money. Unfortunately... I do not have many options since I'm not a mechanic. I wish I could get my money back. Thanks a lot. UPDATE: Unfortunately, I am now dealing with Firestone Area Manager Patrick Graves, along with Bryan from this store, who want me to come in for a THIRD inspection. Yes...a THIRD. They couldn't do the first two right. I still have lights going off on my car. What makes them think I'd trust them to do this a third time? These people just want to keep screwing me over with their incompetence and I'm so tired of it and I just want my money back after being a victim of their poor mechanic/diagnostic skills. Made an appt online on Saturday to get 4 new tires on Monday morning. Was contacted via text on Sunday and made a follow-up call myself and set up what the pricing was with all applicable discounts. Went in Monday morning and spoke with Brian and everything was simple from there. I dropped it off and told them I'd be busy most of the day so there was no hurry. Got a call about 3 hours later that I was all good to go and picked it up from Brian about 45 minutes later after going out with my daughter and taking up some of Brian's ideas on what to do to kill the time that day. Scheduled an appointment for 12PM for a simple oil change. Online quote was $70 for full synthetic. Show up on time to my appointment and they say the techs go on lunch at noon so they won't even be starting work for another hour (why schedule me for noon then?) so now I have to spend an additional $20 on Ubers there and back because it's 3 hours until they finish my oil change. Get back and they charge me $100. I show them my appointment scheduling receipt that shows $70 and they say that it didn't include some unspecified "fees". They then have the audacity to claim my car needs an additional $1500 worth of BS repairs that I know are not needed. One of them was a new battery even though I just replaced my battery this week. Dishonest and unprofessional from start to end. 0 integrity and their only goal is to take advantage of naive customers and milk every last dollar out of you. read more

Heads up, if you need services done on your car, avoid the Firestone in Brookfield (by Brookfield Square) at all costs. They misdiagnosed my car multiple times and cost me thousands on a repair that ended up only costing me $20 at a mom and pop shop. I contacted them a week ago and they told me to get my car inspected through another shop if I was so certain they messed up. When I did just that and responded back to them with the findings from the mom and pop shop I went to (which like I said above, only cost me $20 to fix), they stopped responding completely and I got this message below from customer service when I reached back out for an update. So in short, they misdiagnosed my car, told me to get proof, I got proof, and now they ghosted me. Sleazebags. From original post on Facebook from one of my friends. Avoid this Firestone Auto Care location if there is any other place you can get your car serviced. I brought my Volvo in for a front-back tire rotation and to have Firestone check my brakes, rotors, and pads. My back brakes were grinding, and I suspected that my pads had given out. Without clearing the diagnosis and service order with me, Firestone began a more expensive rotor replacement. I had no opportunity to ask questions and inquire about why a (cheaper) rotor resurfacing couldn't be performed. Second, despite an appointment, Firestone kept the car for 3 1/2 hours to do a rotor replacement that only takes about 60 to 90 minutes. In other words, they dropped my car to the bottom of the priority list for no better reason than that they felt like it. Finally, I discovered after I returned home that the tire rotation was never performed. So...in summary...I got ripped off...twice, and treated like mine was the least important job that they had to do that day. Addendum (29 July): I discovered about a week ago, that Firestone also failed to re-install the covers for my lug nuts. So I got ripped off by these bozos three times! read more

Totally RUDE! Called on July 16th at 5:30pm Called to get an appt for the $10 inspection. Its listed what they chk and each inspection has to follow the guidelines on what to check. A girl Answered and kept trying to upsell me on a $99 inspection ?? Why would I pay $99 to be hooked up to the digital machine when its free at every auto parts store?? I wouldn't recommend paying the vehicle inspection, they only check the typical wipers, air filter and brakes which are all free to check anyway per their website. My daughter goes to school in the area and had brake problems. We use a Firestone in our area so we found the closest Firestone to her which was the Brookfield location. I spoke to Brian and he was extremely helpful. He got her car in right away, found the broken brake line and looked over the rest of the car to make sure there were no other problems. I would tell my daughter to take her car here anytime she has problems while she is away from home. The next day my new tire went flat because they put it on wrong and now a week later my battery is loose and they blamed it on me... telling me I have to go to a dealership to pay for new parts. Good for the basics, although anything other than an oil change is pretty pricey. I work within walking distance, so I drop one of my cars off at 7am, and pick it up at noon. Their $29.99 oil change/tire rotation special (that seems to be ALL THE TIME) is a great deal. They are rather expensive if your car (like my Prius) needs full synthetic: $65.99 after taxes/fees/etc. And they will ALWAYS try to sell you something else, cabin filter, "you need new struts", "you should really get new tires, you know." I usually just thank them for bringing it to my attention, and go about my merry way. read more

I signed up for the 6 months no payment option at last service. It's a pain to deal with. You are unable to setup auto payments over the phone. Have to manually schedule all payments. Received late fee despite logging in to pay on the first. Paperwork on the front reads 04/01/19 due date. On the back in small print the payment MUST be made before 5 pm EST. There is no * or any type of "Turn over for more info" by the due date. Clearly the statement reads the 1st on the front. NOT the 1st before 5 p.m. Called in and forced to wait 10 minutes before it will push through to a rep. Told even though I am logged in on the payment screen on the first I will be charged a late fee. The website won't let you pick the first as payment date if past 5 pm. People on the phone have trouble with English. Are rude and simply say its the terms and conditions you agreed to. Send me an invoice for the 1st and I'll pay it. Didn't realize I had to turn it over, get a magnifying glass and see the specific time of day it's due. I will no longer be taking my car for repairs to Tires plus or any affiliated locations like Firestone. I didn't expect deliberate deceit when signing up for a 6 month promotional. Very happy with my experience from beginning to end :) I came in with my Volkswagen Jetta and needed all four tires replaced . I did not have a appointment and they said that was fine , I didn't need one . He explained to me all my tire options - There are 3 levels you can choose from . You can also do all season or winter tires . They range from standard , to the best ! I asked if they had any holiday sales going on , and to my luck they were! They had 80,000 mile tires, which were normally in the best level category , on sale for mid level pricing ! I gave him my keys and he said it would be about 40min to a hour . They have a huge waiting room . I decided to grab some food and do some Christmas shopping ! Another perk, this place is located rite next to Brookfield square ! He said my tires looked like I had a alignment issue but he would call me during the appointment to let me know for sure . If I did need it realigned it would be either $150 , the sale price while getting tires replaced , for a lifetime warranty of realignment in the future or $86 for a one time fix ! Turns out it was fine ! All said and done it was about $653 for awesome tires and the labor ! They do a courtesy check as well. He was not pushy with anything and did not try to upgrade me or sell me on things I didn't need . I thought for sure he was going to call me and say I needed the realignment , but he was up front and said it looked good ! Best car customer service I've ever received . Another awesome perk - I have a warranty for the tires , for their full tire life ... Which means up to 80,000 miles ! I can take it into any Firestone or tires plus, around the country , for a free repair or replacement . They can check the levels and even just put air in it if that's all you need . He said to go in around every 5,000 miles for a free tire rotation ! I'll be coming here for more car care needs ! Highly recommend ! read more
