I made an online appointment several days in advance for an emissions inspection at 7:30 am. I got there early only to be told they don't have anyone there to do emissions inspections until 8:00 am. I could not wait around for over an hour for someone to arrive and complete the inspection. Why let me make an appointment for a service you are unable to provide? Why didn't someone contact me before the appointment to let me know the time did not work? I've always trusted this place and had no issues until now. My 16 year old daughters engine light came on and I had her take it to the St. Peters location. Code was throwing a spark plug/tune up error. They quoted her over $1,700 to change the ignition coils and spark plugs. Are you serious????????? I only took my car there for an emissions test because it's in walking distance to my house. I've had bad experiences in the past there so I figured they could handle an emissions and a tire repair. Boy was I wrong! I get my car back and the tire is still leaking air. So I take my car back for a refund and the manager tells me they don't guarantee their tire repairs and doesn't offer to repair it. I had a scheduled emissions test done. I got to the DMV to register my out of state vehicle and found they had printed out the wrong name and address. I had to go back and have them update their paperwork, but they required the car to be re-ran through emissions testing again, which took an additional hour because their "system was glitching". My day was completely ruined and I did not get one apology, even when I asked for one! I will not be back here. read more

I purchased two tires in February 2019 at your store #929, St Peters. Had the tire tread guarantee. By November 2020, the tires had worn down. I went back to the location. I wanted a better quality tire than the Achilles brand that I had previously bought. The St Peters store did not have them (Michelin's), so I drove to the Chesterfield store where they had a pair for my Mercedes CLS550. I also wanted to exercise my tire tread guarantee at store #929. Mike Miller said he would take care of it, even though I had to go to another store to purchase the replacements. He had all my contact information. Two hours and $700 later, I had my pair of front tires. Two months later, January 2021, I have heard nothing from Mike Miller. I call and ask him what is going on with my tire tread guarantee. He dropped the ball and did nothing, although he blamed the manager in Chesterfield for not forwarding the tire tread information on the old tires. So, I asked him to please, 8 weeks later to start the process. I asked him what the total cash back would be, he said he would give me a call back. One week later, I call him. Since February, I have spoken to Mike Miller six times. Five times he tells me he will call me back. NOT ONCE HAS THIS MAN CALLED ME. Not once. Mid-March, I finally asked him why do you tell me you are going to call when you obviously do not care? He had no cogent answer. Personally, I don't think he cares whether I am a customer or not. But I will continue to follow up as I made a purchase that your company is not honoring the guarantee. Mike Miller needs someone to talk to him about customer service when he may not like the customer for whatever reason. read more

I have zero trust in this place and frankly they are rude to boot. I've been coming here with 3 different cars over the past year since I moved to the area. I even bought a set of 4 tires for one car. At first I thought maybe this one one of the good guys. I had a great long conversation with the guy I believe was the manager in fall 2012 which left me feeling comfortable with their philosophy. However over the last several visits they've given me reason to distrust their service recommendations and in fact screwed up one service requiring a return visit. As another reviewer noted, appointments are required and are a pain. This place is painfully slow, even for a simple oil change and tire rotation. Today was the last straw. I called this week to get the earliest oil change/rotation appointment I could on Sunday. I was told they open at 9 and they could get me in at 9:30. The only reason I'm still coming here versus Jiffy Lube etc. at this point is to get the free rotations. So I show up today and, after acting quite indifferent, the guy behind the counter tells me he has me down for 10. I explained that it was supposed to be 9:30 but he didn't care. They screwed up but it was my problem. He made no effort to fix it or even apologize. I explained that I had to be out by 10:30 because I had somewhere to be. He couldn't care less. As I walked out, I explained that I wouldn't be back. Again, he did not care. This is not a place you want to take your car. read more

Terrible. I made three appointments to have my oil changed over the past year or so and all three times, I had to wait well over an hour after the start of my appointment time before my car would even get put into a bay. Why was this? It depends on who you ask. By asking the service manager why things take so long, he would always tell me that they have to take walk-ins as they come in. So I would ask why should I bother with an appointment and I would always get told something along the lines of 'some days we get more walk-ins than others.' Meanwhile, there were usually several open bays and guys in the back just standing around or goofing off. Needless to say, I have taken my business elsewhere and you should too. read more

Autotire is the only place we take our cars! If anything is every wrong, any routine maintenance, Autotire is the place to go. Roger is our go-to man. We have NEVER had any issues with the service, and if anything is ever wrong with third party vendors (like parts being bad, etc), they will go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that your vehicle is taken care of. They are an exemplary organization in terms of customer service. We love them! (Note: I'm from Missouri, and my whole family lives in MO still. One positive thing I will say is that I appreciate them taking my car in last minute for an inspection. However, the man that was working the front desk needs to learn customer service skills. His tone and mannerisms came across as very rude. When he was asking me questions, he did it in a hounding way and I felt like he was talking down to me. Horrible customer service!!! Guy at Dobbs was much nicer, even though I sounded worked up, when I called him to ask if the treatment I got at Autotire was commonplace. Paid $145 to have battery replaced in van and got van back with a sound system that won't turn on and has error messages. Hubby was not with me and he told me to stop by on my way home and they would put code in. Hubby called ahead of time for me. I looked in owner's manual for code, even though I think that should be part of the $145 service I paid for. Didn't see code bc I don't know what code should look like or where else I might find it. Walked in and guy interrupts me saying my hubby called, then asks me for code. I say I don't know code and didn't see one in owner's manual. He says he can't help me without code. I then get frustrated and ask if the customer should expect to pay for service but have to reset their own radio and also know where code would be. He says "yes that's how it works". Despite being angry at this point...I ask him where else I might look for this code besides owner's manual and he says "I don't drive a Honda". This is common courtesy according to this guy. Needless to say, code was on sticker inside glove box. Radio won't let me enter it but hubby says he will come home and fix it. This guy didn't come out and offer to look for code or anything and instead acted like I was the one with the attitude and should be very nice to him even though I am bringing back a vehicle that had a working radio prior to their service on it. He thinks that saying "well I could take a look but I don't know" after responding rudely is the appropriate way to treat a customer. I turned around and walked out after the "I don't drive a Honda" comment. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Plenty of other service places to choose from. read more
