Prices are fair, but the real reason to come here is SERVICE. I've been here on crazy-busy days and they're really nice to all the customers. They'll tell you the estimated wait and don't get bent out of shape if you decide to walk out and come back another day...which I will. I have bought several sets of tires from them and they take good care of me. I also brought in my 2nd car, a beater, with two tires of unknown origin that were leaking. I was looking for all-weather tires...ones I did not need to swap out in the summer...and have had a particular brand I was hoping for. However, the ones I wanted were nationally out of stock, but Brandon anticipated my need and during my appointment he offered me an alternative at the same price (although they were pricier). So yesterday(may2) my hubby and I went there but first I called and asked if they would put these size tires on our truck 37x13.5x22 (Brandon) the manager said yes we can do that for you. so when we got there and they saw the fire they decided to come up with an excuse to not so them. So they took the truck into the shop pulled the tire off and then said sorry it won't work. Brandon tried telling my hubby tires won't work for the rims when we had the excact same tire. I have used Discount Tires plus several other tire stores over the years. I went in today without an appointment and had one flat tire and the other one low on air. They fixed both tires no charge because they said that's what we do for our good customers. I was shocked! I'm a fan and I have told several other people about my experience today. Thought I had my tire shop but the second bad experience in a row is enough for me. First time I ordered tires and appointment online , showed up and they had no idea what happened. Waste of time but stuff happens. Scheduled an appointment for rotation and balance. Brandon tells me the front tires are too worn on the inside and they won't service anymore. Tires def have one rotation left. Rears are fine to go to front and next time I would have bought new ones. Not even down to the wear bars on the inside granted getting close. Total waste of my time. I could have rotated them myself last week had I known these guys would just try to sell me new tires before I need them. Won't purchase tires again here. I'll go where they are cheaper and can do alignments and won't lie to me. Nothing worse then wasting my time!!! read more

Just brought my 2018 Acura RDX into Oak Park Heights Discount Tire. It' was Crazy busy, a Mom with 3 toddlers, a line of people waiting. I came in because of a flat tire needing help. They told me it would be a little over an hour and from looking around it made perfect sense. Well they were done with my tire in 50mins and didn't even charge me. They were so nice. Late last Saturday afternoon my wife was out running errands when she noticed a flat front tire. She brought her car over to the Discount Tire store in Oak Park Heights (Stillwater.) The staff were super helpful and got her in to have the tire fixed right away. While we went over to Ruby Tuesday's right next door and had something to eat, those guys at Discount Tire stayed after closing time to fix her car. Then, when she went in to pick it up, they told her that the service was free of charge! They said "Just remember us next time you need tires." Truth is I have purchased tires from Discount Tire in the past and they have always provided quality products and great service. I highly recommend these guys for running a great business! read more

Used their services twice , once to replace a leaking valve stem on Chrysler product that went bad , second time for a slow leak . Both times fast service and friendly desk man. The valve with the pressure sender unit was over $125 at dealer and they replaced it for less than $60 - everything included - balance and all. Free tire rotation isn't really free when you wait two hours and leave with it still not getting done.

Stopped in for a truck tire and the price & service was so super I returned for a set of winter tires for my Dodge. The prices are good and the counter guys & techs know their stuff. Quick service, even when busy. Highly recommend! read more

Tried calling the other day to see what the wait is to get my tires rotated. Tried probably 15 times within a couple hour period and never once did anyone answer the phone, and it was at normal business hours. Keep in mind when I purchased the tires they told me you don't need to make an appointment to get your tires rotated. I've gone there to get them rotated and they've told me it would be a 2 hour wait, so that's why I try calling before I go to find out the wait. But now it seems they don't answer their phones. This place is really a hit or a miss. I have had good experiences there but more bad experiences. Definitely will be getting my next set of tires from Tire Pros. I get disappointed by this place too many times. They are not reliable and I've dealt with some pretty disgruntled staff there. read more

As usual discount took care of one of my daughters, before discount 3 years ago my daughters were treated like idiots by a competitor.My girls know their cars and were told nonsense about air pressure of all things. I have never had a bad experience in the 3 years since coming here and today Christian was swamped with crabby people because the computers were acting up. He was very nice to everybody but they were not to him.He treated my daughter like he would his own sister. And was equally kind and helpful with me over the phone talking about what needed to be fixed with a broken rim.
