I have to say getting my tires out here was the absolute best experience, Eric took care of me the online said I couldn't get in until 2/22 and I mentioned to him I couldn't wait that long he said to come on within the hour and he would put the tires to the side and get me taken care. Initially my wait time to have them installed was 1 hr, I said I had a few things to do and I ok would be back. Well guess what they were done in 20 minutes or so , I literally just pulled out got to Home Depot and the app said my Tahoe was on the rack then they called not even 5 minutes later saying it was ready for pick up!!! I had a nail embedded in my front tire. I took it to get it fixed at this Discount Store in the late afternoon. Mr Eric said we'll get it repaired or replaced before we closed. However, if it cannot be repaired, it would have to be replaced. The tire was repaired and the car was ready to go 5 minutes before closing time. I asked what the bill was and he said it is part of the service we provide without charge. I will definitely go back for tire replacement. Great service. read more

I am so very frustrated with this Discount Tire location. I took my vehicle in to get the tires rotated. The mechanic cross threaded the rear stud. And then they gave me a voucher to get it repaired at Brake Check. This cost me over 4 1/2 hours of waiting with Brake Check. Discount Tire needs to get their stuff together. Please don't trust DISCOUNT TIRE. I took a tire to them that had a bad stem. We tested it. When I went to pick it up the attendant told me to tell my husband it has another leak in it, and marked it for me and that he has some cheap rims. We checked the leak he marked and it was leaking there because they bent rim. That is where the leak is and he knew it. If we would have put that back on the trailer where it belongs and put a load on it someone could've been killed. This is the second tire rim they have bent like this. Came in an hour before close and they were able to get fixed right up with a new one and for only the cost of the warranty for the tire. They paid for the repairs, but I waited six hours at the garage they sent me to which didn't sit well. But stuff happens. I can't let 40 years of excellent service be marred by one bad experience. Today I took an aging Grand Caravan into the Temple store that hadn't been driven for over two years. I have been here several times over the years and haven't had a problem. They honor there warranties, air is free which is a big plus. The staff is nice. they do try to not be undersold. Wall-ins are not so bad the wait is not that long. This is the only tire shop me and my dad use (if you knew my dad you would know they have to be exceptioal). I do recommend this tire shop. I could not be more pleased with my service at Discount Tire. From the beginning, Trenton was a huge help. He was very helpful in his recommendations of what tires to get, as well as how to fix the ongoing issue with the tire pressure light in my Lexus. Even after putting on the new tires and sensors, the tire pressure light was still on. Trenton worked tirelessly to fix this issue, when I came in two separate times with the issue, including when I came in after closing (at 6:05pm) to get this fixed. I sincerely appreciated the help of Trenton, as well as his great attitude. At no point did he come off as frustrated or give up on the problem (even when I did). Overall a good company but the one in Temple has kept messing up appointments. They told me I had an appt on a Thursday but then the tire that I had ordered at the store a few days prior wasn't available. Then they made another appt for me about a week later but when I got their they told me they don't have any documentation that their was an appt. In addition to usually getting a fair price they offer a lifetime balance rotation and free tire repair or replacement as long as the tread is still good and under warranty. Excellent customer service. I had to have 4 new tires put on the work truck. I researched who in the area had one of my 3 choices and Discount Tire was the only one with what I wanted. Their price was very competitive. I called first thing in the morning and explained that we travel and I had to do it today since I was starting a thousand mile trip towing my big trailer. I was told to come by when I could, even up to a few minutes before closing! I had a break in the day around 2:30 and called again to see what kind of wait there was. I was told they had a couple ahead of me but to head that way. They were able to start 10 minutes after I got there and were done in about 30 minutes. So online your site says your open 8-5 on saturdays so me and my boyfriend came to have my tires checked out at 11:30 . We park my car and walk to the door and it's locked so we walk towards the garage doors where people are working. We stand there without anybody acknowledging us. Discount Tire is my go to place for tires because their prices are reasonable and their customer service is great. Best part is, all of the locations can access your warranty information, which is super handy. in a pinch. This is not my typical location. The only reason I went is a commuter's worst nightmare: a flat tire. Went in to work with the low tire pressure light on, thinking I'll pop in for some air and a rotation afterwards (because I was already past due), only to finish my shift with my hubcap essentially on the floor because the air had slowly leaked out. Thanks construction on 35! I arrived at Discount probably around 5:30pm or so without an appointment. Mind you that they close at 6pm. I was told there would be a two hour wait; however, true to form, everything was done much quicker than quoted. I wonder if it's a corporate policy to pad the time estimates considering my home location usually finishes in about half the time on a regular basis as well. The location is clean, they do good work, and there's free wifi so you don't have to worry about using a personal hotspot or going elsewhere to get some work done (or do what I did: catch up on social media without using data... no judgment). read more
