As a woman, I'm relieved and pleased with the professional customer service I have received from Discount Tires. Last September, I bought my first used car and within a week, my front right tire was ruined with a nail puncture.The technician informed me that my tires had been purchased at Discount Tires and they could honor the warranty for a replacement tire, if I purchased the warranty for $12. That was far cheaper than buying a new tire, so I did and greatly appreciated the savings, plus the new tire. Since that day, I've re-visited Discount Tires at this location and others for various services including another puncture, tire balancing and alignment checks. Every time, I've been met by professional, knowledgable technicians. What has also pleasantly surprised me is how quickly they get my car in and out. This is where I get my tires work done and where I purchase them. You can schedule an appointment online to do pretty much any work you would like done. I just had my tire fixed from a bolt in it and they said my tire sensor was bad. What they didn't know is that the sensor is fine and it take a good 10 minutes of driving for it to actually turn off the tire pressure low caution light. So, sometime you have to know your car better than them since they are not brand specialist and they just give you the run down of generic things that can happen. But over all they are usually very fast and I got out of there within 30 min. The service guys are always very friendly. read more

I have been a loyal customer of discount tire for nearly 20yrs. I started out just getting my trailer tires from them. They have always honored their warranties, which are worth every penny. They even reimbursed me when I had to buy two tires from another store after a blowout and a flat on my loaded horse trailer in a town that didn't have a discount tire store. Went in this afternoon to get my right rear tire repaired. Met Anthony, who came out and examined all of my tires and proceeded to tell me that three of my four tires had the steel belts poking out and that I should not be driving on the tires. He gave me a quite on four new tires and told me that it really should be done today. I told him that I needed to wait and thanked him for his time. I stopped off at both Costco and Walmart and the Walmart Mechanic checked my tires and said that he found no belts showing and that while the rear tires should be replaced in three months or so, the fronts were fine. Upon review, this location tried to tell my Mother-in-law the same thing when she tried to get her tires examined. She had 1 year old tires and was told that the tires were so bad, it would be unsafe for her to drive home. read more

I shopped around in the local Tucson area for a place to get four new tires and I could not find a better deal anywhere. Discount Tire Company offered me four new 50,000 mile tires with a prorated replacement warranty down to 3/32nds of an inch tread depth and free maintenance for the life of the tires. They also threw in a free alignment coupon for TCR II. All this cost me about $375. The next cheapest deal I could find was going to cost me just over $500. Discount Tire Co is the only place I will buy tires from now on. read more

The team there is very knowledgeable, constantly moving, and not skipping a single step, to ensure our safety. I walked in and waited while they worked. In my opinion, it was worth the wait! Was pleased with service from Lorenzo. Then later at check out with Rick, I was assured my car doors were locked when they were not. I made a comment beforehand, "I hope you didn't leave my doors unlocked". My being a female and the car parked 2 rows down from Discount Tires, that's a safety issue. What if someone was in back seat of my car? Rick also displayed the price with extra 4 tires with coverage while Lorenzo displayed price to me earlier without the coverage for the tires. It states on this coverage that they assume any manufacturer's warranty if you buy the coverage. Anyhow, I ended up buying it and definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. I didn't receive the tires registration form or rebate form. I found out on my own through their website to fill out that rebate form. I called the tire manufacturer and registered the tires, only because it was offered over the phone to be able to do that. I went in there thinking it would be great experience. Left there feeling taken for granted... I have had great service from them, from this location and other locations. I've felt very taken care of. read more

I love Discount Tire. For years, I've been going to the location at Speedway and Dodge. With my recent move across town, and needing a tire desperately, I decided to use the location at Kolb and Golf Links. The staff was rude, condescending, and would stop working to chat with friends on the phone. At least I hope they were talking to friends, because the language used was not appropriate for any customers. I will make the drive back across town with a blown out tire, making sparks down the road before I ever use this Discount Tire location again. read more

The staff is great and very knowledgeable. They will always suggest the best tire for your car, but if you know what tire you want they will respect that and let you get the tire you want. When we arrived, we were greeted in the parking lot before we got to the door. They had the style and brand that matched the two tires I bought last year. I was offered the same style and brand for my spare for half price. I was told that my current spare was extremely old and dangerous. I said that I will wait until I get more money. Without hesitation the store guy immediately offered me another brand/style (new) for my spare, at no charge. I was not expecting that. I was treated like a criminal while parked outside this establishment. I am a lyft driver and I was picking up a passenger, I was parked for no more than 2 minutes when a large man approached my vehicle in a very unfriendly and disrespectful manner asking if I needed anything. I promptly told him no I was awaiting a passenger. I returned to this Discount to speak with the manager about how I was treated, he also dismissed it saying that's how they drum up business when it's slow ... LIKELY STORY ... I was discriminated against period. This Discount Tires employs racist ... I bought my tires and rims from discount tires If I could take them back I would ... I will never ever buy another thing from them and I will encourage everyone to not buy there as well. read more

Their guy that did the free tire check today wasn't wearing a mask and tried to get me to roll down my window. When I didn't he copped an attitude and FINALLY simply said what he needed to say complete with a dirty look and rude walk away. If he is so quick to throw a mini tantrum over this (especially when he was the one out of line and lacks the common sense to understand that) imagine how he acts when he has to deal with something that IS actually frustrating. If this place hires people like him, and they don't take the current pandemic that has killed over 1 million people worldwide while new daily case & death numbers are spiking seriously enough to ensure their employees are wearing a mask, it shows that their management makes poor decisions and is slack on insuring everybody is doing their job correctly. Common sense will tell you that the odds of driving out of there with an improper repair or incorrect job of putting a tire on of course are higher than a more professional business. Been a discount tire customer for years. Overall good service and free drive through tire checks and rotation (with purchase) are a plus. If you want them to order a specific tire you want, you will need to wait a week or more. Meanwhile they steer you to stock they have on hand. My last set cost me $748. For a small sports car with hazard road warranty. The manufacturers warranty for my continental tires which are made for discount had a 50,000 mile warranty. Even though I rotated and checked the air religiously, I only got 33,000 miles out of them. Discount will offer an adjustment on new purchase that just isn't worth it. Then I got smart and learned of tire rack. Lower prices, free shipping and you can have them shipped to a tire store and for around $90 they will install for you. On my case tire rack will ship to my house and I can take the new tires to Walmart and only pay an install fee of $60. This total cost was a savings of about $250. For my new tires, ones that I wanted because I tried those tires on my mustang and lived them. They lived up to the hundreds of good reviews by customers from tire rack. My dad and I were headed down 22nd to eat lunch and it was bumper to bumper traffic. All of a sudden I heard a massive thump in the rear of my vehicle. Sounded like my tire blew. UGH! I had to fight my way to the left lane to get into a parking lot to see the damage. I had what I found out after was a 5 inch bolt lodged in my rear tire. Thankfully my dad was there and knew his way around the tire stores here. We went maybe a mile or two down the road to this location.We had to wait in line for like 15 minutes. They were super busy. When I stepped up to the counter, I told the guy my problem and he promptly took us out to the vehicle to look at the tire. We went back inside and he said it could most likely be plugged and patched. AWESOME! He went on to offer me a warranty on all 4 tires for the life of the tires for 89.00. I thought with all the construction here that would be a good idea so I said yes! We trekked across the street to eat and kill time. They called me back maybe 45 min later with bad news. The tire could not be saved. They could put on another tire of the same brand but it would cost 169.00. I was deflated but agreed as I needed the tire. Upon returning to get my car my dad went out to the bay to ask for the spike as a trophy of sorts and when my dad came back in he told me that since I got the warranty that they would cover the tire and all I had to pay was 22.00 for balancing or something. I was so happy! They were all awesome, polite, so helpful and saved me a ton. Thank you to all the staff and the manager. I would give these guys negative if that was possible. I orderdd some wheels and tires through them. When they came in one wheel was bent so they said they were ordering me a replacement that day. I waited the 5 days they said and gave them a call and they said they werent in yet. I called again at 8 days and the same. 12 days later I call and ask and they say they arent in yet, so I ask them to check and make sure they were actually ordered because the time didnt add up and they should have been in. Well every person there kept passing the buck saying it was someone elses responsibility until they blamed it on someone who conveniently wasnt working that day. So they tell me to call back the next day when he is in. I call back and find out that they completely forgot to even order it and had ordered it the previous day and the whole "call back tomorrow" was just them trying to sneak it by and get it ordered that day without me knowing they messed up. Not only did they not take responsibility for their mistake, they didnt even do a rush order or anything to compensate for their screw up. The people at this store do not take accountability for their actions and are horrible at customer service and inept at their job. Go somewhere else! I ended up at this location after having two new tires put on my Tahoe earlier in the day by another location. After driving a few miles I began to have some serious issues with my brakes. I just had brakes replaced a month or so before and since the new tires were the only thing different from the day before, I stopped at this location (golf links and kolb) to see if the other shop had done something wrong. The guy didn't think so (and honestly I didn't either), but he took it for a test drive (he pulled out of the parking place and then back in as all he needed to do was put on the brakes to know there was a serious problem). It was so bad that he didn't even take my truck into one of the bay's but brought out two jacks and took the tires off, one at a time to see what was going on. Btw, I didn't realize it but this was just at closing time on the day after Christmas! The last wheel he took of was the one with the issue... One of the caliper lever bolt had fallen out and my break caliper was just floating around on the only other bolt. Might have happened when the other shop used the impact wrench to loosen/tighten the lugs but most likely the bolt was not tightened enough when the brakes were changed... No charge!! This shop is my favorite. They are always kind and professional and busting a move! I highly recommend them... read more
