I wish there was an option to leave 0 stars. Dish is the worst company to deal with. First of all..,you better set aside at least 30 minutes of your life that you will never get back if you need to speak with someone about your account. Second, they are stupid expensive and jack your prices up after you have been a loyal customer. Then after you waste that 30 minutes of your life waiting for a real person they don't want to offer you (their long time loyal customer) the same low rate a new customer receives. Then after you decide Dish is just a crappy company and don't want to give them any more of your money you decide to cancel your service. You agree to send back their equipment within 30 days. Great! Get rid of it! Netflix, Hulu and YouTube tv is way cheaper! You wait 1 week for the stupid box and return label, then someone shows up to pick it up but you have no tape to close the box. No worries, they say they will be back tomorrow to pick it up. Great! I go out and buy the necessary tape and have it ready to be picked up the next day. Problem is no one shows up to pick the junk up. I eventually send it off at a local delivery company and get my tracking number. One week later I get notified of the $500 charge on my account for un returned equipment!! WTH??? I call dish again, waste another 30 precious minutes of my life, and am told I'm SOL. Too bad. When they get it they will return my money. They tracked it and know it will be there the next day! Shame on you Dish. You need some lessons in customer service. I vow to warn everyone I know of your ugly business practices and I hope Netflix can one day run you out of business. read more
