Being apart of this club allows you to stay at the Disneyland Villas at The Disneyland Hotel. They offer more perks than that. The gentleman at the Vacation Club kiosk was very friendly and gave me all the necessary answers!

What a beautiful expansion at the Disneyland Hotel near Downtown Disney. The new building is spectacular with their own pool, bbq area, and so close to Trader Sams. I love the architecture and the small details that are designed for families of all ages.

This place is legit. It's like a home away from home in that you can save $ by bringing food/snacks for your kids. There's a fridge, silverware, dish-ware, microwave, and toaster. It's made to feel different than the other hotel rooms on site. Game changer for me as a coparent with 2 young kiddos! The pool is nice and was never crowded when we went downstairs - then again the weather wasn't the greatest during our spring break so ‍ My kids loved the Villas more than the Grand Californian, Disney Hotel, and Pixar Place. We stayed in room 1031 - this is the deluxe studio preferred view room.

Very nice area to rest from waking all day at Disneyland. You can get sodas and coffee, slap little snack snd clean restrooms. DvC members only

I had such bad experiences with 2 of the guides until I found my guy, Tony Tatad. I signed up to do a tour via an offer of $50 I received from my Disney Visa credit card. The 1st rep was a quick over the phone tour of 10 mins in a call center in Florida and he was just like, ok ready to go? I thanked him and said I needed more information and he said ok and never called back. The 2nd rep was from the Disneyland hotel, I was walked over and got a presentation for some fast passes. She said she had just started with DVC, she had her real estate license and sold timeshares before, but as time went on, it was clear that she was ALSO new to Disney itself since she had never really been on a Disney vacation or frequented the parks. She didn't know a lot of things and was really nice, but I definitely didn't get the information I needed so I told her I'd think about it and to follow up with me since I knew the incentives were about to change (from my DVC friends who received updates and newsletters). She never followed up and I forgot about it until a friend took me to a DVC members Moonlight event and I met Chang. He and the rest of the team and just the entire group had me excited about DVC again and I told him about my experience, so he said he'll make sure that someone who had more experience and might be a better fit good will follow up with me. Enter Tony Tatad. His mom started DVC in Florida and he's been doing it since forever. He saved me from losing points $$$ fees because it turns out that the other rep "lost" my guaranteed points pricing. After some research, it was because she didn't call me because I was on a do not call list (even though I went to the presentation and asked her to call me) I had to sign an "opt in" form for them to call me. I emailed corporate and they honored the previous pricing (unheard of according to many people) and promptly signed up with Tony. Tony Tatad is part of what makes DVC awesome for our family! He's the epitome of Disney in my opinion. Happy to help, always with a smile, and so gracious! I've referred at least 10+ people to him and he's made all of them happy. Tony does this by following thru, caring about their vacations, and treating them like family; my same experience. My tip? Get yourself a rep that treats you like family and you'll be amazed at what DVC can do for yours.

It's a very quiet hotel, i've never had any noise issues staying there. The rooms are always clean and the beds are super comfy. Another plus is the A/C's always work great and since they renovated they're in the ceiling so it cools a lot more evenly. They've got a pool and hot tub plus a small wading pool for the little tykes! They've really stepped up their continental breakfast as well. The price is pretty comparable to other ones in the surrounding area when you factor in parking fees for them. My family is usually willing to pay a little extra for that Candy Cane Inn charm. From the moment you pull into the driveway, you know you're somewhere special. I chose valet parking, which is about $60 a night. They also offer self-parking at a lower rate if you'd rather save a little money. As soon as you walk through the doors, you're greeted with the most amazing signature scent. It honestly reminds me of walking into an upscale Las Vegas resort. The lobby is elegant, there's a beautiful bar, a well-equipped fitness center, and a gorgeous pool area. We spent some time at the heated pool and jacuzzi, and it was the perfect way to unwind after a long day. The jacuzzi even has water features flowing into it, making it feel like a true luxury resort. The rooms are just as impressive. They're modern, elegant, and incredibly comfortable. The carpet was so soft, the bathroom was beautiful, and the entire room felt clean, relaxing, and upscale. Now, here's the decision I had to make. I could have booked a theme park view room where you can see Disney California Adventure and the fireworks from your balcony. But instead, I chose a resort-view room because I really wanted to experience the hotel's rooftop restaurant, Rise. And I'm so glad I did. When we checked in, they were able to get us a reservation for 8:30 p.m. The restaurant is reservation-only, so I definitely recommend planning ahead if you can. We arrived just before sunset, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The rooftop has glass panels all around, so you have an unobstructed view of Disneyland and Disney California Adventure while you're enjoying dinner. Then, at 9:30, the fireworks started. Watching the sunset fade into the Disney fireworks while enjoying dinner on the rooftop was honestly one of the most magical experiences of the trip. It was worth every penny. So if you're celebrating something special, planning a romantic getaway, or just want to treat yourself to a luxury Disneyland experience, The Westin Anaheim is an incredible choice. It's definitely a splurge--but if you're looking to feel a little bougie, relax in luxury, and create an unforgettable Disney memory, you won't regret staying here.

Our focus was always on getting to downtown Disney, so we could walk to the parks. Our tower was all the way in the back and the furthest removed. Annoying. Then the rooms were smaller than I thought they would be. They weren't small, but they weren't that large, either. However, they were clean, and the beds were comfortable, so there's that. As it happens, the main benefits of staying there... being able to get into the parks earlier than others, as well as utilizing the monorail, were not available to us. They closed down the monorail for refurbishment, I guess, but the real annoyance is that in Jan. 2026, they actually did away with (!!!) the early entrance to the parks for staying at this hotel. That's actually gone forever, and that part is really annoying. We stayed at this hotel with my two adult daughters, my son-in-law, and two young grandchildren. I was hoping and thinking there'd be a lot more children's activities in and around the hotel, but there weren't really any. There are a couple of pools and a very small play area, but nothing that impressive. There's Goofy's Kitchen where the characters will do a meet and greet for an early breakfast, but so what... I could get that inside Disneyland or at the Grand Californian. That isn't an essential enough reason to stay here. When I walk through the entrance turnstiles at Disneyland, I feel a magical presence. I am transported to a very special place where EVERY STEP I take is something spectacular and amazing. I should feel the same way when I set foot in the Disneyland Hotel, and I simply didn't. Aside from a twinkling panorama of Sleeping Beauty's Castle with fireworks above the beds in the rooms, or Mickey's gloved hands holding bathroom lighting and showers fixtures, or fireworks designed carpeting, there was nothing magical about this hotel. It's a Disney production, so I expected MUCH more. Considering how much they charge per day for a room, not to mention, per day to park the car, I expected MUCH more. Especially for the children. Probably the best thing about the Disneyland Hotel was the 70th birthday decor, and that's about to disappear in August 2026. When that is removed, this hotel will become, I fear, ordinary, nothing remotely special. Frankly, underneath all the 70th birthday decor is an old, tired, and outdated hotel. I know my daughter really wanted to stay here and give her children that extra special experience, but now that we've stayed here, I think we got ripped off for what we paid.
