While I enjoyed our stay at the Disneyland Hotel, I have to say that overall, I was disappointed. To start, we got stuck in the furthest away tower. Our focus was always on getting to downtown Disney, so we could walk to the parks. Our tower was all the way in the back and the furthest removed. Annoying. Then the rooms were smaller than I thought they would be. They weren't small, but they weren't that large, either. However, they were clean, and the beds were comfortable, so there's that. As it happens, the main benefits of staying there... being able to get into the parks earlier than others, as well as utilizing the monorail, were not available to us. They closed down the monorail for refurbishment, I guess, but the real annoyance is that in Jan. 2026, they actually did away with (!!!) the early entrance to the parks for staying at this hotel. That's actually gone forever, and that part is really annoying. We stayed at this hotel with my two adult daughters, my son-in-law, and two young grandchildren. I was hoping and thinking there'd be a lot more children's activities in and around the hotel, but there weren't really any. There are a couple of pools and a very small play area, but nothing that impressive. There's Goofy's Kitchen where the characters will do a meet and greet for an early breakfast, but so what... I could get that inside Disneyland or at the Grand Californian. That isn't an essential enough reason to stay here. When I walk through the entrance turnstiles at Disneyland, I feel a magical presence. I am transported to a very special place where EVERY STEP I take is something spectacular and amazing. I should feel the same way when I set foot in the Disneyland Hotel, and I simply didn't. Aside from a twinkling panorama of Sleeping Beauty's Castle with fireworks above the beds in the rooms, or Mickey's gloved hands holding bathroom lighting and showers fixtures, or fireworks designed carpeting, there was nothing magical about this hotel. It's a Disney production, so I expected MUCH more. Considering how much they charge per day for a room, not to mention, per day to park the car, I expected MUCH more. Especially for the children. Probably the best thing about the Disneyland Hotel was the 70th birthday decor, and that's about to disappear in August 2026. When that is removed, this hotel will become, I fear, ordinary, nothing remotely special. Frankly, underneath all the 70th birthday decor is an old, tired, and outdated hotel. I know my daughter really wanted to stay here and give her children that extra special experience, but now that we've stayed here, I think we got ripped off for what we paid.

The Disneyland Hotel is, without question, my favorite hotel. Every time I stay here, I'm reminded why I keep coming back. The biggest perk is being completely immersed in the Disney bubble. From the moment you arrive until the moment you reluctantly check out, the magic never stops. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, with beautifully maintained landscaping, relaxing outdoor spaces, and Disney touches everywhere you look. The pools are fantastic and heated to perfection. During one stay, my son convinced me to go swimming in the rain, and to my surprise, the water was so warm and comfortable that we stayed in much longer than I expected. It's one of those memories that still makes me smile. The slides and poolside food and drinks and def a great perk too! The food options are excellent. Trader Sam's is always a must-do for us, with amazing food and a fun atmosphere. The coffee shop is another favorite--I had the chia pudding every single morning for breakfast, and it was absolutely delicious. And of course, being able to grab a Dole Whip without leaving the hotel area is a huge bonus. The cleanliness here is on another level. In fact, I find myself comparing every other hotel I stay at to the Disneyland Hotel, and they don't come close. The rooms are spotless, the common areas are immaculate, and everything feels well cared for. The staff consistently provide exceptional service, room service is reliable and delicious, and the overall guest experience is outstanding. The hotel also has two fantastic shops that make it easy to pick up Disney merchandise, snacks, or anything you may have forgotten. It's little conveniences like this that make the stay even more enjoyable. Yes, it's expensive, but for me, the Disneyland Hotel is more than just a place to sleep--it's part of the vacation experience. The combination of Disney magic, incredible service, beautiful grounds, amazing food, and unmatched cleanliness makes every stay feel special. I absolutely love it and can't wait for my next visit.

Three words, for $5k for 7 nights and you give me a corner room with a lackluster view with murphy style bed.. What the hell. I'm sorry but look at this view from the attached photos. You couldn't give me a better for longer duration night period? I was just expecting a normal king or queen bed, not this. Note: Disney got rid of early admission but only gives you 1 instant FastPass. Plus it's $45 a night for self-parking. The saving grace of this room was the shower. Excellent waterfall like showerhead with fantastic water pressure and hot water. Yes, the hotel is a 10 minute walk to either park, a 4 minute walk to Downtown Disney, monorail access, nice pools, lush landscapes and the general layout is far better compared to most Disney World hotels... But the thing that Disney is known for, MAGIC... and none of that was shown to any of us. Instead DVC was shown at every second. No magic? Given that I booked this hotel with a third party so that they can inform the hotel of our events. We just got married that Saturday, 2 weeks ago my wife graduated and got her Dr's degree and my birthday was this upcoming Wednesday. You would THINK that Disney would put out some towel art, a custom card saying congratulations or even some chocolates on the bed. No.... Just a few buttons and a congratulations at the front desk. The keyword that Disney uses on every advertisement, Magic is gone from this company it's truly a disappointment. The only Magic that was shown was Marco at Pixar Pier, he saw our buttons and allowed us to skip the line at Pal-A-Round Wheel. That man, made our entire week. Everyone else, non-existent.

OK, so this resort is exactly what you'd expect, it's right by Disney gets you an extra Genie pass for each person going to Disney and it is all things Disney where you can actually take a tour of the hotel if you sign up early enough. However, the person doing my check-in was not the typical friendly Disney personality and was in fact kind of rude. Keep in mind they do have parking (that you have to pay for) but there is plenty. It's $10 more than paying for parking at the Disney parking structures. It was a little bit of a bummer of the service of the guy at check in because this was the first time we had stayed there and it's a pretty expensive hotel for us to stay at. We did like that. It was so close to the monorail to get writing to Disney that drop you off in Disney and we really liked the room. It was clean. The AC was wonderfully cold in the middle of a very hot summer day, and I love the little touches that have Mickey Mouse ears on them. We also liked that at the back of the hotel there was a lawn that we could watch some of the fireworks. The view wasn't wonderful and obviously it would be better if we were at Disney, but having two little babies with us, it made it nice that we could still watch the fireworks from the hotel. But I will say stands out is the amazing swimming pools and a lifeguards at the pools and the events that they hold each day. We would come back just for the pools. Would highly recommend for a summer staycay if you can just swing the cost and have time not at Disneyland.

Presently staying at the Disneyland Hotel and while our trip hasn't officially ended I am going to give the 5 stars. A few things, from the moment we pulled up Jorge who handles getting the cars in was very kind and helpful. Albert who helped us with our bags took the time to be a conversationalist and actually get to know us. The hotel has been well kept in mid-century decor which is why we chose it (that and the convenience to the rest of the property). All of the classic Disney memorabilia on display was like taking a step back in time (which having never stayed here before was my hope for this hotel). Now, as for the hotel room... We are staying in the Adventureland Tower and I love the smell of the first floor. The models they have on display are true treasure of the past. The room is cozy and just enough space for the 3 of us staying. There is one thing I'd like to address because I read through the complaints others had on their posts... Our room had an AC issue it wasn't terribly hot in the room but, when we called down to guest services they were right on top of it and sent two very nice gentlemen to resolve the issue. All hotels have their own quirks, but I was deeply impressed at how on top of everything the staff had been and for their kindness. While you pay a premium to stay on the property, I have to say through my experience it's been earned. We will be back and we will be staying here again.

The Baseline: For a hotel the rooms must be clean/comfortable, the amenities on the property must be usable/convenient, and the service on property must meet the needs for a comfortable stay. Property: This is the OG Disney Hotel with fun amenities. The pool, restaurants, theming, feeling, and general magic of the property comes through. The best part of a Disney property hotel is the short walk you take after your day in the theme parks. Also this hotel is a great area to watch the fireworks and it really makes your hotel experience that much better. Love the Disneyland Hotel! Rooms: The rooms are clean and extremely well kept. The best part of a Disney hotel is the theme you are staying in. The Adventure Tower we stayed in had a strong Jungle Cruise/Adventure Land theme throughout the entire experience. Comfortable beds and though the room has gone through constant rehabs it has been keeping up to accommodate for modern technology and needs. Service: Disney cast members are on super mode at a Disney hotel. Accommodating, friendly, helpful, and out to make your stay magical.

We loved the disneyland hotel. First off people saying its too expensive. Yes it is expensive, but when has disney brand ever been cheap. Like everything is extra. Yes staying here cost equivalent to a hotel suite at the Marriott. But if you want to try disneyhotel for the experience go for it. Anyways check in and check out was a breeze. We did the contact less and everything was smooth on the app. We arrived 1am and went straight to our room with no problems and unlock the door with my phone. We stayed on the 11th floor. Next time, we want to request a view of the park with firework views. Our room felt clean and the beds were amazing. I havent slept this good in years. The headboard was a plus. Love the nightlight and musical box. The room is pretty noise canceling We can barely hear the fireworks. We couldnt hear anything expect the toliet flushing from the next room. Room services are impeccable. Everyone we encounter at the hotel were nice and friendly. The pool and waterside was out favorite part. It so big that it didnt feel crowded despite many guest were there. My kids had an awesome time. I took 1 star for the lack of food varieties here. They suggest to use the app but there only 2 places that do pick up orders or its in the parks... None of the restaurants in downtown disney offer this. We plan to stay here again but when we do its too really hang out at the hotel and still have the disney feeling without the disneypark chaos.

First time staying at The Villas at Disneyland Hotel and it won't be our last! Everything from check in to check out went smoothly. We were able to check in at around 8:30-9am which I appreciated sooooo much because my 9 month old was ready for his early nap. I feel like most hotels won't allow that so I am thankful. Our stay was probably during a not so busy week so don't expect an early check in whenever! You check in at the main tower which is the Fantasy Tower and from there, they will direct you to your designated tower. I like being able to walk through the hotel grounds, because you get to see where things are! Like the pool, the restaurants, coffee shop, merch shop. We didn't get to use the pool because it was too chilly. We did eat at Tangaroa Terrace for breakfast morning of check out, which was a-okay. Okay back to our stay. The room was exactly as stated in the booking description. Our room had a balcony, mini fridge, microwave, view of one of the pools, a Murphy bed that was easy to pull down. The bed itself was comfortable! The bathroom was clean, bright and spacious. The water pressure, however, was pretty weak; esp the water pressure from the wink. There is a body mirror for your pre-disney outfit pic. Good amount of drawer/ closet space if needed, too. Overall, I have no bad things to see about my stay at the Disneyland Hotel. I mean, yeah I wish it wasn't $500+ a night but the convenience of it being close to the parks with an infant is worth it.

Service - from time of check in to check out, the staff was amazing. Thank you to Brittany for changing our room to a king. We were a big group and the staff ensured that we made it to our hall inside the park with no issues. The room - we were in the original tower. The room was very basic but I loved Disneys touch throughout the room. From the headboard, to the faucet handles to the light fixtures it was Disney all the way. The house keeping staff was great The room was always cleaned and maintained with care. We overlooked the pool area but we didn't hear noise from the area. The grounds - always immaculate and very well maintained. We enjoyed the early admission to the park as a perk for staying at the hotel. I like that Downrown Disney was within walking distance but still a distance that you were outbid the crowds.

Disneyland Hotel - Classic Disney Stay with Unbeatable Location Staying at Disneyland Hotel is one of those experiences that just completes your Disneyland trip. From the moment we checked in, this hotel delivered that classic Disney feel--but with a modern touch and one huge advantage: location, location, location. --- ### Cast Member Magic (Shoutout Where It's Due) Huge shoutout to Jaqueline at the front desk--truly one of the highlights of our stay. Seeing her throughout our check-in and check-out days made everything feel more personal, and it's those little interactions that remind you why Disney service stands out. --- ### 70th Anniversary Touches The Disneyland 70th anniversary decorations throughout the hotel were beautiful. It added an extra layer of excitement and made the entire resort feel like it was celebrating something special the whole time we were there. --- ### ‍ Location - This Is the Game Changer You really can't beat where this hotel sits. - Steps away from Downtown Disney District - Short walk to both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park - Easy access to the Disneyland Monorail No buses. No waiting. Just walk out and you're in the magic. --- ### The Layout - Classic Disney Towers The hotel is made up of four main towers: - Fantasy Tower - Adventure Tower - Frontier Tower - Discovery Tower (DVC Villas - where we stayed) Plus the convention center. We stayed in the Discovery Tower Villas with a mix of Deluxe Studios and a 1-Bedroom--and the rooms were beautiful, spacious, and perfect for our group setup. --- ### Hotel Perks That Actually Matter One of the biggest perks? We received a free Lightning Lane per night of our stay, which was a total game changer. Combined with the Disneyland system (which lets you book across both parks), we were able to stack rides and get so much done. --- ### Dining Options The hotel keeps it simple but solid: - Goofy's Kitchen (character dining staple) - Coffee shop (good coffee, food was just okay--but it gets the job done) - Quick service near Trader Sam's for easy bites It's not overloaded with options--but with Downtown Disney right there, you don't really need it to be. --- ### Pool & Recreation The pool area is awesome, especially for families. - Great pool setup - Steamboat Willie splash pad for kids - Fun, relaxed vibe for downtime between park days --- ### Final Thoughts The Disneyland Hotel hits that perfect balance of Disney charm + convenience. Is it the most luxurious hotel on property? No--that title probably goes to Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. But in terms of overall experience, location, and that classic Disney feel? It's hard to beat. This has easily become one of our favorite places to stay at Disneyland--and we'll absolutely be back!

Wow. Magical, impeccable, memorable are three words that describe our weekend stay at the Disneyland hotel. The moment you step on property, you can feel the effort and attention to detail employees put into this gorgeous hotel. I loved the different towers with themes, the iconic monorail water slides and pools. There's a private pool for the tower I stayed in along with a splash pad for littles. All the employees were extremely friendly and helpful. I feel like everyone who works here loves their job. Everyone was in a happy mood haha. The suites are so clean. Our room had a kitchen which was nice even though we ate out most of the time. The price to stay here is high but it's so worth the convenience being walking distance to downtown Disney and the parks.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Disneyland Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the bell hops were incredibly helpful--holding our luggage before check-in so we could start enjoying our trip right away, and again after check-out so we could relax and have lunch without stress. Their kindness really set the tone for our trip. Our two-year-old twins especially loved the splash pad--it was the perfect place for them to cool off and play. This was our boys' very first Disneyland trip, and the hotel made it so memorable. We're already looking forward to making many more family memories here in the future!

Disneyland Hotel Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Disneyland Hotel

Do we pay for parking if we're staying over for few days? How much is the fee per day that we stay over?

    You sure do

Does this hotel provide turndown service?

I was upgraded for free to a suite, and they did come by and provide turndown service. It all depends which kind of room you get.

If I'm booked in a club level room, is it still true that I get club access for the full day of arrival and the rest of the day that I check out?

You get access from the time you arrive (even if your room isn't ready) until check out time the day of your departure (11am)

Is there direct access to Disneyland from hotel?

No direct access It is a short walk thru Downtown Disney, or you can take the monorail into Disneyland.

Is there a bar at the pool?

    Yes

Are you allowed to bring outside food to the pool?

    Yes

Are wristbands needed at the pool? could you also go to the pool before the 3PM check in?

No wristband but you need a room key to scan in. However, they did tell us that we were allowed to use the pool when we checked in before 3pm but our room wasn't ready yet.

Is there a reservation system or time limits to use the pool?

No, you are able to use the pool from open to closing time. You do need a room key to open the gait. You will need to make reservations if you want to use their cabana area.

Are there trams that run directly to and from Disneyland park from the hotel? I realize that trams are not operating at the park but thought maybe the hotel trams were working for hotel guest.?

The monorail is currently open from downtown Disney

How much do they hold for incidentals on your card. Also, can you go to the pool before the 3pm checkin?

$250 for incidentals. You can absolutely go to the pool prior to 3pm. Just check in with the front desk when you arrive or do pre check in on the Disneyland app for the key.

Do rooms come with a refrigerator and microwave?

Standard rooms do not come with a microwave, but they do have small refrigerators. Note, when we stayed our refrigerator did not work, the sink stunk from rotting hair, and they up-sold our original suite and downgraded us to a standard room.…

    Is the pool heated?

Yes! It's also a salt water pool, very gentle on your skin and refreshing :-)

Are toddlers okay to go down pool slides by themselves or with an adult?

They are life guards not babysitters. Toddlers should be accompanied by an adult.

Is there a slide, hot tub, & heated pool?

    Yes! They have all three!

Is the Disneyland hotel or paradise pier closer to the parks?

Both are close but the Disneyland Hotel is the closer of the 2 you listed. I've stayed at the Disneyland Hotel many times over the year with the last time being May 2017.

Does the monorail go through the Disneyland hotel?

Not through but it's a very quick walk to the station.

I have a family of 6. My kids are 6, 5, 4 and 1. do I need to book a 1 bedroom suite because a regular bedroom would be fine for us?

Get a suite it will give you some extra room and pay the extra for concierge level. You get small snacks to eat and drink throughout the day

I'm probably asking a very stupid question but does this hotel serve free breakfast?

No there is no free breakfast at any of the Disney hotels in Anaheim.

Is a room upgrade necessary? Are the premium rooms/views that much different than the standard?

You get six different views at the hotel. The main tower fantasy tower the front of the view is valet you also get the view of the fireworks the other side of the fantasy…

The older kids even went back down for round two while the littles took their afternoon nap! The lobby restaurant and bar had delicious food, and the TVs throughout the lobby playing Disney shows kept the kids entertained while we relaxed and enjoyed our food. Every single staff member we encountered--from the valet team and bell service to the front desk and water park staff--was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Their hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. The location truly couldn't be better. Being able to simply walk across the street to Disneyland made our trip so convenient and stress-free. The valet/bell service even held all our luggage after we checked out and went to the park. Everything was so organized with a ticket/bell service tag number. We had such an amazing experience from start to finish and would recommend this hotel to any family visiting Disneyland. It truly made our trip even more magical!

From the moment you pull into the driveway, you know you're somewhere special. I chose valet parking, which is about $60 a night. They also offer self-parking at a lower rate if you'd rather save a little money. As soon as you walk through the doors, you're greeted with the most amazing signature scent. It honestly reminds me of walking into an upscale Las Vegas resort. The lobby is elegant, there's a beautiful bar, a well-equipped fitness center, and a gorgeous pool area. We spent some time at the heated pool and jacuzzi, and it was the perfect way to unwind after a long day. The jacuzzi even has water features flowing into it, making it feel like a true luxury resort. The rooms are just as impressive. They're modern, elegant, and incredibly comfortable. The carpet was so soft, the bathroom was beautiful, and the entire room felt clean, relaxing, and upscale. Now, here's the decision I had to make. I could have booked a theme park view room where you can see Disney California Adventure and the fireworks from your balcony. But instead, I chose a resort-view room because I really wanted to experience the hotel's rooftop restaurant, Rise. And I'm so glad I did. When we checked in, they were able to get us a reservation for 8:30 p.m. The restaurant is reservation-only, so I definitely recommend planning ahead if you can. We arrived just before sunset, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The rooftop has glass panels all around, so you have an unobstructed view of Disneyland and Disney California Adventure while you're enjoying dinner. Then, at 9:30, the fireworks started. Watching the sunset fade into the Disney fireworks while enjoying dinner on the rooftop was honestly one of the most magical experiences of the trip. It was worth every penny. So if you're celebrating something special, planning a romantic getaway, or just want to treat yourself to a luxury Disneyland experience, The Westin Anaheim is an incredible choice. It's definitely a splurge--but if you're looking to feel a little bougie, relax in luxury, and create an unforgettable Disney memory, you won't regret staying here.

When I arrived, the concierge remember me (and my son) from our visit last year. That impressed me! The room was comfortable as always. It was also large and comfortable. This hotel has one of the best fitness centers that I've ever had at a hotel. Only a few very high-end hotels have ever come close. The property is also in close proximity to tons of attractions for the kiddos. Love the property and the staff are awesome. Will definitely be back again!

The Adjoining door offered no soundproofing from the infant and toddlers screaming and crying past 11pm and before 4 Am. We completely understand kids will be kids but for those inconsiderate Parents, if the room was a bit more soundproofed we would have stayed the rest of our reservation. We left 1 day, night early because of this and to drive home to get some sleep. I wouldn't stay again for this reason after spending 12 hours in the Parks to come back and be unable to relax for the next day. Close to parks, 15 min walk, restaurant great, staff great but the adjoining door killed it for us. There were a few more housekeeping issues noticed when we checked in but we understand that its a quick turnover with guests arriving and leaving. Note: please check the Keurig in room coffee service as I did try to make a quick cup before we left our stay early and there were black mold spores lining the bottom inside. For health reasons

Called the hotel spoke with Kim and told me she would have to check with housekeeping. I informed Kim I will call back after 12pm today. I called on my lunch and spoke with Kim and she said she checked with housekeeping and no one turned it in and none in lost and found. I asked for Management and spoke with Jackie. Jackie said the same thing, none in lost and found and none in the room. I replied, 1 it's either taken and not brought to lost in found or 2 they didn't clean the room properly because I know I left my expensive shoes. It would also be nice if housekeeping called and said you left your shoes. I would have turned around and picked it up. I'm sure most of us have left things behind and never got it back because it was taken NOT thrown away.

It's a very quiet hotel, i've never had any noise issues staying there. The rooms are always clean and the beds are super comfy. Another plus is the A/C's always work great and since they renovated they're in the ceiling so it cools a lot more evenly. They've got a pool and hot tub plus a small wading pool for the little tykes! They've really stepped up their continental breakfast as well. Lots of choices and great things to grab for snacks later inside the park. The staff is always phenomenal and friendly. From front desk, to maids, to groundskeepers and security guards everyone smiles and greets you when walking by. We like a specific area of the hotel and they almost always honor that and are very personable. The price is pretty comparable to other ones in the surrounding area when you factor in parking fees for them. My family is usually willing to pay a little extra for that Candy Cane Inn charm. We love that it's conveniently located near Walgreens, Chubby a dumplings and pizza places. Pro tip: The Walgreens also has a lot of Disney souvenirs at a reasonable price! It's about a 25-30 min walk to Disneyland. There's ample space on the side streets for strollers. Our point of reference is a Hyatt Place that we stayed at in Emeryville, CA. The actual room is a bit dated. I refer to it like a college dorm suite. But it does the job. It was nice to have a kitchen island, kitchen sink, and microwave for snacking or even an extra sink to brush your teeth. The shower temperature was a roller coaster. It would go from warm to cold and hot. Be aware of this or you cold burn yourself. I'd especially make younger kids aware of this. Breakfast is always a hit here which is a huge reason why people choose the Hyatt Place/House line.. ITS FREE! And they it well. Day 1: eggs, hot link sausages (cut), tator tots, pancakes Day 2: eggs, pork sausage patties, breakfast potatoes, French toast sticks They have 2 lines for food and tons of seating. Well done here. The breakfast area is clearly thought through and not an after thought but a key feature. The swimming pool was also a good experience. They have a hot tub and it wasn't too crowded. The gym has enough in there and is a great place to refill water. Service could be a bit better. There are lots of people so I can understand the demand. Anything close to Disneyland draws so many people from all over. Service was often laggy and mediocre. $40 overnight parking (this was similar at other Hyatt). All-in-all, it fit the bill for what we needed. There are some improvements to be made, such as modernizing and fixing plumbing, and... it worked out for us.

The hotel is relatively modern and has been maintained extremely well. Rooms have consistently been very clean, and there are a surprising number of configurations designed for larger families. Depending on the room, you'll find bunk beds, separate sleeping areas, and layouts that give mom and dad at least some separation from the kids at the end of the day. That's harder to find around Disneyland than it should be, particularly within the Hilton portfolio. The lobby is large, bright, and airy, with plenty of seating, a good snack/market area, and Disney+ seemingly always playing for the kids. The complimentary breakfast is the typical Homewood Suites buffet, but the breakfast area itself is enormous. It gets very busy in the morning--as you'd expect at a Disneyland hotel--but we've generally been able to find somewhere to sit even during the rush. The pool is OK. Nothing particularly special, but perfectly adequate for letting the kids burn off whatever energy Disneyland somehow failed to extract from them. Service has consistently been friendly and helpful. The property is also surprisingly easy to get in and out of for a hotel this busy. Two elevators keep things moving reasonably well, and multiple exits provide quick access to different parts of the parking lot. Parking is gated and does carry an additional fee, which is worth factoring into the room rate. Disneyland is walkable from the hotel, although I'd put an asterisk next to "walkable." With school-age kids it's very manageable; with toddlers or younger children, the distance becomes considerably less appealing--particularly at the end of a long park day. The location also works well for travelers who aren't visiting Disneyland, as the Anaheim Convention Center is very close. For families, especially loyal Hilton members, this is an outstanding option. There are hotels closer to the parks and certainly hotels with better pools or more upscale amenities, but very few combine the room configurations, cleanliness, breakfast setup, location, and family-friendly common areas as well as this one. While we are moving out of the stage of life where this may be the case, for our previous trips with kids ranging from 2-8, it's served our family, extremely well. -AC

It was pretty frustrating and being a single teacher from Arizona-the worst paying teacher salaries in the nation-money is kind of tight and this trip was a treat and a birthday gift for my friend and her family. It ended up costing a lot more than I had planned, which definitely put a damper on things. But I didn't argue and paid the four room bills, although only 2 were used and not even a future voucher for two rooms was offered instead of a refund on the two unused rooms. Not very good customer service, and not a hotel I will ever use again after that experience.
