The most popular attractions are Incredicoaster and Toy Story Midway Mania. For food, Lamplight Lounge is the most popular sit-down restaurant and also serves alcohol and is my favorite restaurant. Beef Jerkyyyyyy!…read more I call it the beef jerky ride lol This ride is so rocky. It is not comfortable. It's not pleasant to ride. Maybe it is good for children only. But teens and adults, I think not so much. For Knott's Scaryfarm, we would use this roller coaster as a landmark to try to not get lost. You could always see this coaster from far away. It served as a good landmark lol but it isn't the best ride. Hopefully they make it better or fix the jerkiness. No one likes to be jerked around like that lol This one isn't worth waiting a long time. The shakiness is like trying to stand when there is an earthquake happening. Unstable and bumpy lol

Timberline Twister is a kiddie ride, but I didn't like it much. I mean it was a very short ride, but the length between each segment was too short so it was uncomfortable throughout the ride even though it kinda gives you that laughing effect. I guess for little kids, they may have a different and better experience than adults. I'll pass on this ride next time! Have fun kids!

The roar of rushing water, people laughing, kids screaming, and that slow click... click... click... as another raft climbs toward the top. It's like listening to a soundtrack that says, "Somebody's about to get soaked!" As we're climbing, everyone in our raft is pretending to be brave. Then the spinning starts. The turning. The bouncing. Another turn. Another drop. Another spin. By this point, you're just holding on and hoping the raft picks someone else to get drenched. Spoiler alert: The raft doesn't care. You hit the bottom, water explodes everywhere, the cannons start firing, people on the bridge are laughing while they're trying to soak you even more, and suddenly nobody is dry anymore. It's absolute chaos... the fun kind. The best part of the whole day wasn't even getting soaked. Before we got on, my son wasn't sure he wanted to ride it. After we climbed off, he looked at me and said, "Dad, thank you for taking me on the best ride in all of California Adventure." Then he thanked me again... and again... and again. Those words meant more to me than he'll probably ever know. Sometimes the best memories aren't the drops or the splashes--they're hearing your kid tell you that you were right. The ride was clean, the Cast Members were friendly, and the whole atmosphere was full of laughter from beginning to end. If it's hot outside, don't think twice. You're either getting soaked... or wishing you had.

Grizzly River Run is an whitewater rafting ride located in the Disney California Adventure Park's Grizzly Peak area of the Disneyland Resort. When Disney California Adventure opened in 2001, Grizzly River Run was also one of the original rides! Grizzly River Run is themed like a giant, bear shaped mountain called Grizzly Peak that is inspired by California's state and national parks and represents the natural beauty of the forest in Northern California, featuring pine tree stands, rocky mountains, and the sound of running water. You board large round rafts that can be used for groups of up to eight people, and as they float through an area with strong currents on the ride! The rafts twist and turn in unpredictable directions. During this twisting journey, the rafts send you floating through waters, mist filled caves, and sometimes sudden drop offs. I did speak with the cast member and the large drop is about as large as the Pirates of the Caribbean. The moment when the raft plunges into the water during the latter part of the trip is fun, especially due to the amount of splashing the raft receives from the water, which often results in some of the riders getting wet. Sometimes I get drenched and other times, I barely get wet. Due to the design of the raft, which the raft rotates, you'll have a unique ride experience each time you ride Grizzly River Run! The ride is different during the day and night. During the evening hours you can see all of the beautiful Disney California Adventure lights which is stunning! It's great to ride this ride at night during the summer hours! This is a must ride if you're visiting during the summer. If you don't like being cold though, I'd recommend avoiding this one during the fall and early spring months.

If your gonna visit Disneyland, try Disneyworld. It's amazing, and you can use Disney web to pay for vacation up to a year in advance. I recommend staying on-site in one of the Hotels. Jumbo house has zebras, giraffes, and wildebeest roaming on grounds. Absolutely amazing

I had NO Idea that you can even go into Sleeping Beauty's Castle until very recently and I've been…read morea regular Disney goer since around 2018. I guess I just never examined the castle that closely or because of the crowds around it taking photos, I usually just dash right pass by. I have accidentally wandered into the handicap accessible room with the three seat throne, storybook video display of the same story upstairs, and the display of jewels and royal items that befit a medieval castle once, but it wasn't until months later that I walked up the stairs to see the actual display. You can see the scenes play out for Sleeping Beauty's story. It's iconic. You see the roses, her with the forest animals and fairies, the spool and thread, everyone falling asleep, the battle with Maleficent. It's neat how they used lighting, layering of the displays and such for everything to be portrayed. It can get a bit crowded in there and there's a tripping hazard because of stairs and running children, but otherwise, definitely worth a stop!

Obviously you have to go during the holidays as well, it brings such a festive vibe and spirit to your season - this is a can't be missed attraction to all Disney (and even non-Disney) fans.

That being said, the Pony Express is a fun concept ride, set up like you are a horse jockey in a race. You even sit forward on the ride with your knees and back braced within the seat. It's medium fast and feels good after a water ride because you feel the wind in your face. Recommend!

We usually try to ride it each day that we're there, except it was down on tuesday morning. There have been times, when there was no line, so we went back in line, to ride it again. But not on this trip. Sunday night, we rode it, in the dark, which seemed even more thrilling. It's a quick ride. But man, is it fun!
