    A flight

Fun little brewery in a strip mall. Don't judge a book by its cover. They have over 20 beers on tap and the flavors are always changing. They specialize in very unique flavors. I love doing flights here so I can try all the beers. The staff is super friendly and always willing to let you sample a beer before you buy it.

Did a brew crawl with my husband and we had to stop here. We sat at the bar and enjoyed talking with other patrons. The bar tender was attentive and friendly. It was a comfortable environment with plenty of various types of seating. I enjoyed Prost Malone. So good!! I look forward to coming back soon!

Came here on a whim while I was on vacation. There were several things I liked about this place, but their beer wasn't one of them. I loved that they were dog friendly and your pup could join. I also thought it was cool that they had games that you can play with friends. However the beer left me wanting more.

Off the beaten path, but absolutely worth the trip! The selection of beers is incredible. I posted a picture of the menu. If you love IPAs, you will be in heaven! Great selection of beers, including porters stouts, IPAs, double IPAs and more! The inside is cozy. The music is not too loud, and there are plenty of seating areas. They do have some outdoor seating in the parking lot. But for ambience, inside!! Staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Sampling the beer is encouraged.

Brit was a gem. The beer was called eccentric circle. A 6%ABV pale ale that my son said was pretty good Very quiet on Thursday, so it's a great day to go Plenty of seating, plenty of good beers Overall A+

This is your neighborhood brewer! Stop bye, the location is in a strip mall, signage out front states the COVID rules for entry, once in you'll see a local brewers dream. Nice tasting room, scwag on the walls, tv's for sports, and tanks in the back if you wanna see where the bread is baked! Here's my three things: 1) Sweet spot for after work brews, low key atmosphere sweet for small group hangs (no background rave music). 2) Place just opened so help drink their new brews. Support LOCAL FLA! 3) Brew food is throw back with Hot Pockets, warm pretzels, and chips and Buffalo Dip, etc. Tasting notes first go: The Roasty Nibbler coffee porter, 5%ABV, sweet chocolate finish (50/50 w/ Thank U Berry Much for a Nibblen Berrys) Thank You Berry Much nice Berry Sour 5.2% Irish Red is a mellow red ale smooth w light malt

One of the great things about breweries is that sometimes you have misses... your beer choices just weren't there THAT day... but with a constant rotation of new beer, you can come back and have a totally different experience. This is exactly what we experienced here... Our first visit was a miss, but being active with the Tampa Bay Ale Trail and the added perk of having a Groupon we decided to go back for a 2nd trip and see how it went. Redemption. 3rd trip back... same so we'll just chalk up our visit as a fluke. And they are pup friendly!!! Service has always been very attentive to us while there, so much so that I have to actually go up and grab Ben from the bar to bring over the drinks because he just starts chatting with the beertender and other patrons and I'm sitting there like "HELLO, I'm thirsty!!" Currently during the COVID-19 situation, they are also doing To-Go orders which you can easily follow on their Instragram page. They have had several that looked good to me and some even have sold out super quick. So be sure to check their tap list out and continue to support local!!!

Well-Hidden Gem My friends and I were in the area and wanting to kill time. We found this place nearby on Google Maps but didn't know what to expect... the outside is really inconspicuous, with blocked off windows and just their logo on the door. Inside, though... wowza With popping lights, large screens for the sports fans, and a cozy ambience, the interior of Dissent makes you feel welcomed and like you've found a gem. It's absolutely at odds with the outside. The bartender was super nice and my friends and I got to try a lot of their local samples before deciding on one. Can't remember what everyone got but I do recall a Dole Whip drink that had a wonderful aftertaste of pineapple. I'm not a big beer/IPA drinker (as you can probably tell from this review lol) but I wasn't overwhelmed by the options and the bartender was able to pick out fruitier/sweeter drinks from the menu for my friends and I to try. There were a couple of other parties when we were there but the overall atmosphere was cozy and fun. Definitely have to stop by again when I'm in the area!

The beer was amazing and the staff were so friendly and personable. I wanted to come here on my visit and it was absolutely worth it. It is an incredible atmosphere and the beer was better than expected.

Dissent is the first brewery you pass as you make your way down to St Petersburg. It is a little farther north than the others. The spot is inviting and fun. They frequently will have food trucks posted outside. The beer is delicious and diverse. The bar staff is fun. I only wish there were more to do in the immediate vicinity.

Fantastic brewery with big selection and well made brews! The bartender was extremely helpful as well. (Wish I could remember her name - it was 10/16 in the afternoon.) I was visiting and she offered great suggestions of other breweries in the area. Patrons were friendly and, although it's a small place, you'll be very pleased if your visit here!

Beers are delicious. I never drink too much but I had 4 here. Drove by here a dozen times and wasn't too sure about it but Loved it!!!!

We've stopped in Dissent a few times over the years. It's a nice relaxed place to have a beer. They have a diverse variety of beers so there should be something you like. They have a nice area inside to hang out and there are a variety of games there for you to play if you are into that.

We chose to sit in the inside bar because there was air-conditioning. The warehouse area gets a little hot and stuffy, but on nice nights or on cooler days they have tons of outdoor seating as well. We both tried their barrel aged to vanilla Porter. It it was very good, but we both did not want something that heavy to drink. My husband ended up switching to the Marzen which was their Oktoberfest beer. I enjoyed a glass of the chocolate strawberry stout, which is just as delicious as it sounds! Because it is heavy, I could only do one glass and then switched and got a flight of cider and seltzers. I was able to try the pineapple, dole whip vodka soda, which was very tasty. I also tried their rosé cider as well as their dry Irish cider, and their apple strudel cider. All of them were delicious and their rosé cider is probably one of the first that actually tasted like rosé. We also decided to get a little flatbread pizza to snack on. It definitely is small think of a child's size pizza but the flavor was good.

I had the mini hot dogs from the kids menu and I really enjoyed the white cheese to dip them into. I really enjoyed the live music and there are board games. Staff were polite, helpful, and kind. The one thing that really bothered me was the fact that there are signs advising that dogs are not allowed inside because of the food licensing regulations and should be outside at the picnic tables. I deadass counted 5 dogs in the bar area in the 2/3 hours my group was there. There was a man with a FRENCHIE sitting at the bar. The dog was in the CHAIR at the BAR. That really annoyed me because if the staff is not following a food safety rule, what else are they cutting corners on? I was sitting at the bar earlier, I don't want to sit on dirty dog feet/butt on the chair.

I ordered a flight of six beers, but the gentleman working there (who I'm pretty sure runs the place) was kind enough to pour me a few additional samples as well. Every single beer was excellent. I even enjoyed the stout, and I'm usually not a stout fan at all. That's how good the beer was here. I honestly can't pick a favourite because I genuinely enjoyed every beer I tried. The atmosphere was great too. I loved the movies playing inside while we enjoyed our drinks, and the service was exceptional. The gentleman helping us was incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. We ended up having some great conversations, and you could tell he's genuinely passionate about brewing and his craft. I always have a lot of respect for people who care that much about what they do. They have plenty of merch in what I could only categorize as hippy stuff... oh and the regular caps, shirts, coosies and glassware. It is in downtown St Pete, so parking is a little challenging with metered or paid parking everywhere. The meter we parked at was only 2 hours which made it difficult to get comfortable and settle into a consistent beer experience. The BEER: Milo's IPA 7% ABV... there is a whole lot of bright citrus notes in this IPA Hazy Tampa Bay-ker NEIPA 6% ABV... for a hazy it was less new England and more east or west coast, not juicy, but solid Czech, Czech, 1, 2... One of the reasons we ended up back over here was because one of the bartenders that one of the other breweries had said if you're looking for good food and beer, you need to go to cage out of all of the breweries that we spend a lot of time in in the Saint Pete and treasure Island area. Cage has the largest man selection by far. They offer everything from pizza to wings to items for your dogs to enjoy. I chose the Panini with meatballs and it was really good and I really liked the anti pasta salad that it went with it. My husband got the wings with the garlic Parmesan sauce on the side. He said they were good. He just would've liked a little bit more in the order. The beer is also really good here. My husband chose their standard core, the octopus. It is similar with an amber, but not quite to the depth of it, but has a really nice finish. I chose their peanut butter Porter, which is by far one of the best, and when it comes to the flavor of peanut butter. It is my absolute favorite. Parking I imagine can be a challenge as we only saw a street parking in the area unsure if there is a parking lot that they have privately.
