This was really good! This is a Chipotle/Qdoba clone, but it has several advantages. First, they give you the option to do your meal "Mexican style" with onions and cilantro, which I like a lot. Their hottest (habanero) salsa is also legitimately spicy. I appreciate that. If I'm ordering the spiciest thing, I want it to hurt my mouth. Service was fast and extremely friendly. Food: 3 tacos: 2 chicken and one chorizo. They both had flavors. However, you had more toppings than meat. 2. Breakfast burrito with eggs, cheese, and potatoes, but you have taco toppings, which seemed weird to me. I would not opt for that. My son said it was good. District Taco is located on 611 in beautiful Abington. It's surrounded by lots of shops including Target. I go strictly for the the chicken Burrito. I mean if you've had Chipotle and or Qdoba; you've pretty much had DT. Ijs. At District Taco I prefer ordering through the kiosk rather the associates. Speeds up the service in my opinion. I ordered a 1 fish taco for the car lol, carne asada burrito for my husband and pork carnitas bowl for dinner for me. The fish taco was good wish the fish was a little bigger. The mild sauce was ok should have ordered a hotter sauce. Husband said he loved his carne asada burrito. For me, I probably wouldn't ask for rice next time. The veggies were very fresh but the rice was a little crunchy seemed like it was undercooked and it wasn't enjoyable to eat. They did her first and then only put the stuff for my order on the grill after 15 minutes. I demanded a refund because I don't have any more time to waste on . Wow my pharmacy closed and all the prescriptions were transferred to Abington Pharmacy. Well Abington pharmacy was fine, a blast from the 70's! After passing the Abington cop hiding on the northern edge of the pharmacy parking lot monitoring the southbound traffic around 5:30pm I looked across 611 and saw the new to me District Taco. Their on line ordering was a bit kludgy and seems like someone's kid put it together but... the food is very good. I had a burrito 'jefe style' with chorizo and assorted other stuff. I didn't notice the jalapeño and the mestizo sauce was not killer spicy. Next time I'm getting habanero sauce. YMMV. My wife had delicious chicken nachos that were fabulous with top quality very tasty chicken chunks. We had churros for desert that were great. For best results eat them fast. Our only complaint is that the curbside order didn't include utensils or napkins. The people from the restaurant were very nice and the prices were fair for the quality of food we got. DT in Abington: So I've had their food twice. The first time was closer to when they originally opened. My hubby brought home a couple burritos and some chips & guac for us. The meal was fine, but nothing memorable. A few days ago we were in the area around lunchtime so we gave it another try. Here's my quick take on the whole experience: PROS -- our tacos were delicious (several different kinds/combinations between us),; ingredients tasted fresh and flavorful,; ordering was straightforward and easy (self ordering on kiosk); there's an outside dining area option CONS -- no designated handicap parking (unless I missed it?); they crank the music (warning to those who enter with a hunger headache); some of my favs that I would expect to see were missing from the menu (no pinto beans, no tomatillo salsa); the wait to get our food was longer than comparable places Overall we both really liked the tacos and want to give the burritos another try. Although it will be difficult to not order those delicious tacos again next time automatically. We'll probably continue to choose to eat at home rather than dine there because of the loud music and of course the pandemic. read more

I've been to this place multiple times since they opened, and the quality just gets worse every time. I came in today during the lunch peak hours around 12:30pm and I was the only customer inside, which was a big red flag. I ordered a fish burrito for $13+ with medium salsa. It was disappointingly filled with rice and beans and seriously lacks flavors and protein. The rice was mushy, and there was barely any pieces of fish. For the money and the quality of the food, I would not come back to this establishment. Consumers are now a lot more conscious of their spending and what it can get them during inflation times, and District Taco no longer cuts it. read more

They pile you up on the rice and skimp on the other food. I tried this place when it first opened and stopped going here. Thought let me give them a try again, sad to say, way too much rice in my bowl. Could barely see the beans, peppers, onions and other things that were supposed to be in there. Surprisingly good. I got the 3-taco deal, you do pay extra for chicken, pork, or steak. I got 2 regular Mexican sausage (no up charge) and 1 pulled chicken. I like the Mexican sausage better. Visited today to pick up a quick late lunch. I went in five minutes early but the food was already ready. I was greeted from behind the counter and helped immediately. Surprised people said this place was dirty because it was very clean when I was there. Maybe because I was after the lunch rush. I got a salad and the portion size was great. Maybe if you are someone who is super hungry you may want chips as well but it was enough for me. I am vegetarian so there is also meat missing from my photo. The food was delicious and definitely fresh. There was tons of seating as well. I will definitely visit again. If I had to give one critique, it is that the place is confusing. I ordered takeout online today for our family. I enjoy Chipotle and Qdoba and I was excited to see that District Taco has fish tacos on the menu, the only "fast food" place that does. It was such a disappointment, the food was the worst I've had in a very long time. I had ordered 2 fish tacos and 1 "itza" taco, which is meat substitute. The fish tacos were fishy tasting and soggy as were all the toppings, just a soggy mess. The itza was ok but spicy. The chorizo was horrible bland and kinda slimy. Steak was bland. Carnitas were ok also fairly bland. Fish taco was pretty good but nothing I'd say I need to go back and get again. Boylans soda on fountain was cool but why diet root beer with no standard root beer?
