    Hummus appetizer
    Jacob D.

Purchased a Local Flavor voucher through Groupon. Read many reviews where some stated that the prices are too expensive but using the voucher beings the prices more in line. Anyhow, food was not amazing but it was really good. Started with the hummus appetizer which was very tasty. I ordered a side Italian salad which was big. Ordered the 12" pepperoni pizza which is 6 slices and thin crust (definitely not NY style but good). My BFF said his chicken parm was decent. Was wanting a glass of red wine but no alcohol is sold here (could tell it wasn't that type of place as Christian music was playing). Our server provided excellent service and was genuinely kind and efficient. She also kept checking up on us.

If we were able to give 1/2 stars I would give 3 and 1/2. What really pushed it from 4 stars is the price. We ordered the spinach dip, fettuccini pasta with chicken and broccoli and chicken basil pesto panini. The sandwich was okay but under seasoned. The spinach dip was delicious but we had no idea adding cheese to the bread was $3! The pasta was good but could have been a little more creamy and the broccoli a little less mushy. The service was good although we could hear conversations coming from the kitchen/servers that probably shouldn't be heard by customers. Overall, I would come back again, but choose more wisely.

First timer, very disappointed! Wtf is this? And I tipped good!! Never again!!

Garbage!! Never again!! And I tipped good! I was excited to try this place out and got this ! SMH

    Spinach and Artichoke Dip

Definitely our go to place! Love the food and very kid friendly. Atmosphere is very welcoming. The servers are always very attentive and can accommodate pretty much any request you have. Spinach Dip is our go to appetizer and has never failed us yet! Don't forget to check out local flavors for deals when you go.

The BRST local place for Italian inspired food! Great Pizza and 100% better than the franchised tripe that's served down the street.

Delicious and fresh pizza! They take care of their customers! One of my favorite pizza places in the city

Outstanding pizza. We got the NY style - crust was thin, crunchy and chewy. There were no leftovers. Highly recommended.

We were lucky to have Pam as our server, and she was outstanding--knowledgeable, attentive, and made the entire experience even better. I ordered the Prime Ribeye, and it was phenomenal--served sizzling on a hot plate and full of flavor. I paired it with pasta, which was a perfect complement. My husband went with one of the specials (chicken and penne with vodka sauce), and after trying a bite, I can say it was just as delicious. The only small downside was that prices felt a bit high, but that seems to be the norm everywhere these days. Overall, a fantastic experience--we're already looking forward to our next visit.

For contect, 1 appetizer, 2 entrees at the restaurant, 1 entree to go and 2 ice teas. The veal parm was over cooked with no cheese and the sauce tasted like it came out the can. The chicken was undercooked and the Alfredo was bland. The spinach dip should be called bowl or melted cheese. The shrimp Alfredo was a waste with 6 tail on shrimp and a pasta that was thrown away. The only redeeming quality was the service. The young man was attentive. It wasn't his fault. This faux pas took 38 minutes from parking to pulling off. The fact that there were only 2 tables seated should have been the indicator.

We saw on the menu that checks could not be split, which was fine even though split would be preferable to us. So, when our server told us the check can't be split but she can "take multiple cards" I was a bit confused and asked if she could explain more since that's what we might do, since she said it was possible. Already there she gave attitude and said I don't know how else to explain it to you in a rude tone. After we finished our food, we asked her to take multiple cards for the check and she told us to write on the back what to charge each card. I apologize that I did misunderstand what she meant, and put the items rather than the exact amount to charge each card. She came back and said, "you did exactly what I said not to do." So I said sorry and was in the midst of redoing it by calculating when she just snatched it from me and said she'll just do it. I had no problem doing it nor did we complain even once. After a while, understandably, she came back and basically scolded us, saying what if she was busy she wouldn't have been able to do this....but she said she could do it in the first place! We understood from the get go no split checks but then she gave the option of multiple cards so obviously we took it. The food was good and the ambience was nice. I enjoyed the open kitchen concept and seeing the pizza oven. But the service ruined it for me. I work the food industry and would have never acted this way. Nevertheless, I would come again but would not want that server.

I struggled with putting a 5-star review on a pretty basic menu (no offense), but dang it,…read moreeverything we've eaten in our last 3 visits (in 2 months) has been 5-star fresh, tasty and plentiful. Give credit where credit is due. And the servers have really stepped it up. Very nice! Have not had to deal with huge crowds on any of our three visits, just a steady stream of in and out guests and to go orders. Drinks are always brought promptly, and only once has one gone dry. (They are $3.79 ea, so drink up!) One visit involved Pesto Bites and a Savory Cannoli w/a pasta salad side. The Pesto Bites were to die for, and don't believe the picture on the website - the cannoli was huge and looked more like a very big calzone, but it was packed with ingredients and flavor. The pasta salad was seasoned with just the right amount of Italian dressing. Another visit involved Mozzarella Sticks, Pesto Bites, wings and a Combo pizza. It also involved a large to go box. :) The wings were very good - not bready or slimy, which I often encounter when wings aren't the sole business of the establishment. Loved the crust on the pizza. The 3rd visit involved 3 people and Pizza Bites, Seafood Bites, Savory Cannoli w/pasta salad, Spaghetti & Meatballs w/2 extra meatballs and a 14" Hawaiian Pizza. There were some to go boxes and to go drinks with this meal too. I was pleasantly surprised with the Hawaiian pizza, not something I would ordinarily try, the Pizza Bites were amazing, and I don't eat shrimp but am told the Seafood Bites were very good. Just cheese pizza. Of course we already ordered one for us and yea agree. No sauce, super thin crust and just a lack of good pizza flavor. Had the white and added prosciutto. Won't be going for pizza here. Speghetti also had an odd flavor which the kids not I enjoyed. Kind of like vinegar. The tagliatelle though was amazing. The sauce was spot on just a little too frugal with it. The truffle was a great mix and just the whole dish was a balance of savory umami. Would love to see a protein with it though. Tried the meat and cheeses which were fantastic as well with the accompaniments and fried bread. I really enjoyed the chicken patte. The prosciutto was good nothing exciting. The bresaola was ok. The matru, bocconcino, and Harbison were all good. Of all the desserts tried the lemon sorbet was best but thats from brocatos. One of my fav places. The banana cake was not bad. Liked how it wasn't that sweet if you don't eat the brittle. The chocolate coconut didn't care for because of the hazelnuts. Will have to try another pasta to see if they match the deliciousness of the tagliatelle.
