I love this place! The entire staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Kayla is one of the best nail technicians I have ever had. I used to go to a salon that was associated with this one years ago but they split after one or the other was sold. I finally found a tech at the old place I really liked and did a great job, but he left and I didn't know where he went so I was forced to find another salon. Luckily for me, I decided to give this one a try and I couldn't be more pleased. At other salons I would inevitably get a chipped nail (lots of times the nails would chip from the cuticle end rather than the tips) or 2 and need to come in sooner to get my nails redone and it would cost me quite a bit more, but I think it was mainly due to inferior products they used for dip nails. Not only have I never had a chipped nail, I've never had the top coat start to peel. Kayla does such a great job, if my nails didn't grow out I wouldn't need to come back except to get a color change! They have a huge array of dip colors , shellac as well as matching regular colors for your toes too! Their hours of operation are able to accommodate most everyone. They do a great job assisting you with scheduling your appts., they also keep track of the colors you choose so that if you find a favorite you don't have to search it out thru all the samples every time you come in! I called for an appointment at 3. When I arrived I was quickly seated and tended to for my pedicure. The pedicure I received was by far the best pedicure I've ever gotten. The massage was great and they did a great job on my toe polish. I would say the pedicure was a 5 star experience. I had to wait 45+ minutes to get my mani started. It wasn't till they noticed I was tired of waiting that they offered me a water. My mani consisted of the lady hounding me about how short I wanted them. She even laughed and made fun of the fact that they were so short. I had to decline shellac/dip 4 times!! There was no hand massage, no cream and no cuticle oil. Not only do they provide the most up-to-date looks (want nails that have the chrome powder finish you saw on Instagram??? They have it...whatever is the newest thing, they have), they are professional, prompt, reasonably priced and give you simply gorgeous nails. I should know: they can make even MY nails look good. I have terrible nails. Everyone says that, I know, but mine are exceptionally bad. My nails are dished and warped and extremely short because they are paper thin. Most salons DO NOT KNOW how to do my nails. Amber at Diva Nails does them and always makes me feel great instead of embarrassed by my nails. I walk in with nails looking like something out of a freak show and walk out with beautiful sculptures that don't hurt and stay on. I think one of the most important things is that Diva Nails uses very high quality products. My nails will, literally, separate from their beds if any products used are not good quality. I don't have to worry about that at Diva Nails. Diva nails is also a bargain. $40 for a new set of sculptures and that includes gel coats, some painting, etc. They don't add on a bunch of extra charges. Finally, everyone is very friendly...and QUICK I hate how long takes to get my nails done anyplace else. Don't bother going anywhere else. Go to Diva Nails. read more

Used to be a great nail salon but has progressively gone down hill. Customer service is really bad the past couple times coming here. Today I asked for a manicure and pedicure. After getting a so so pedicure I sat there for about 40 minutes before I realized it was only 15 minutes until closing and I was not going to be getting a manicure. When I said something they didn't even apologize. They just let me pay and walk out. Think I'll find a new nail place even though this one is so close to my house. Super disappointed. read more

I decided to go to Diva Nails because their name popped up when I googled Shellac manicure in San Antonio. My Shellac manicure ($35) took only 45 minutes and they did a great job! This place is unsanitary and inexperienced people working there. My toe got infected after she cut my toe nail too deep. I ended up with an ingrown toenail and an infection I'm still fighting with antibiotics. I stopped at the pedicure. Didn't want to go further. This place is not a good place to get any nails done. So I came here again after being so pleased with my prior experience. I made an appt for 6pm on a weekday. I showed up about 10 mins early and I had to wait...no biggie. I was the only person waiting. Another patron walked in about 10 mins after me (no appt)...she was noticiably irritated when they asked her to wait. She was up and down, and making comments about how hot it was in there and asked them to turn on the air. All the while, I was sitting quietly. As soon as the lady became free, at this time it was about 6:15, she took the irritated lady first before me. I walked out shortly after without being serviced. So basically she lost a loyal customer in the act of trying to please another. I'll never go back. It's rude and condescending to be passed up. read more

Finally some young kid who looked like he just rolled out of bed comes and sit at the station I was at. Looks around and realizes he has no materials to begin. Gets back up and gathers what he needs. Sits down and proceeds to start. He files my nails and then automatically starts to paint them! With dust everywhere. So my nails had specs on all of them and bubbles! I used to love going to Diva nails. Everyone was friendly and they always took time to make sure the job was done right. Unfortunately the past few times I've gone, I was less than impressed. I just got a pedicure about a week ago and my toes had bubbles from the nail polish all over. It is so noticeable you can see the bubble just by looking down. I told the woman and she then proceeded to add yet ANOTHER coat of top coat to "fix it". I'm no professional but I know well enough that the reason there are bubbles in the first place is because you already put about 10 layers of polish. It was absolutely ridiculous and I will no longer be coming back. I've told all my friends and showed them the final product, none of them will be returning either. read more

The nail tech used her unkempt fingernails to clean the excess polish from the sides of my nails. Being a Cosmetologist myself, I can tell you that no where in school are we trained to remove polish this way. There are tools for that job. It was unsanitary and painful. The polish selection is poor and much of it looks old. I felt like the people here don't take pride in their job. I've been twice and won't be returning. read more
