We proceeded to have him install a new liner and while there was a problem initially Bruce made everything all right with no hassle. I find his prices competitive with the big pool stores, especially considering the excellent quality of the new liner and a new winter cover. I will never buy a liner or winter covers from one of those stores again. He is a gem of a small retail store owner.

We've never enjoyed going to Namco as the service there has always been poor, and the location is too far away. Last year we stopped in to Sterling Pool, and are happy to report that we won't be going back to Namco anytime soon. Sterling is well stocked with quality parts and kept clean. More importantly, the folks there are friendly and helpful. I'm glad we finally found Sterling Pools. I just wish we started coming here sooner!

I was home, they Parkes behind my car. If my appointment is at 11am I would gladly open my gate. I also believe in CT it is a law that a company can't start work on a home before 8am. This is so unprofessional and ridiculous. When called to complain, I was told that more customers are upset when the workers call or knock on the door. If I have to keep my pool locked up for safety reasons and my home insurance, there is NO reason for anyone to jump the fence around it. That's trespassing especially at that time. He recommendations wasn't exactly inline with my ideas but base on what I had previously read about the company before actually meeting him along with his knowledge and experience in the pool industry I trusted his views. The project was planned for March 2023. Fast forward to now the team came in and did exactly what we discussed there were some minor chances which was done with further advice when I met Derick " very nice guys he is a customer pleaser he ensure that you are 100% happy or the job is not done". I have been in the construction industry for 15 years and I have worked with pool companies on several different occasions and believe me this is the first I'm meeting and working with a company where everyone affiliated with the company from the owners down to all the workers are honest, hardworking, polite and very professional. I'm pleased to have met and work with them, I will continue to work with them going forward and I will recommend them to all my family, friends, acquaintances and business associates. These guys don't get 100% in my book they get 110% for going the extra mile in costumer's satisfaction, their prices are very reasonable and economical base on market value with you also getting value for every dollar. This year their customer…read moreservice quality has been nothing shy then unacceptable, the boys as Gardner refers to came on time to close the pool, my wife and I were in the water enjoying the last day of it being open. The lead guy suggested we can continue to enjoy the pool as it was a gorgeous pool day and said it was no problem for them to come later in the afternoon. When they failed to show up I contacted Gardner who was as rude as I ever heard him not only to me but to my wife as well, denying his employee ever said that, and as a result of the delay he was not able to come till 3 weeks later. My wife who usually never get involved with contractors simply could not bear to be subjected to his abuse and grabbed the phone to verify what we both heard earlier from his lead guy, after all if we were led to realize that it would have delayed the closing by 3 weeks we clearly would have got out of the pool and let them close it. Gardner's vulgar voice overpowered my wife's and he eventually hung up on us. What an incredible customer service oriented act. Needless to say I regarded this incident as the last encounter with this company. In short to sum things up, I strongly advise anyone to refrain from subjecting yourselves to this horrible abuse. Stay away from doing business with Gardner and LGB.

They are the local warranty service center for Raypak pool heaters. I called them when I had a…read moreproblem. The following is what they did; -Sent two men for a one man job, twice. When questioned they responded there were two men on the truck. I had to pay for both -Tried to replace a "governor" which I had just replaced, Theirs was the wrong type. I caught them in time. . The service man kept insisting his was correct until I showed him the one that was replaced. That was not the problem anyway -Replaced a plug, without telling me, that was new. When I asked for the return of mine, they never responded. - Charged over 450.00 to replace a spring. -Took my credit card in advance so that I could not dispute their charges. They failed to notify me of the charges despite saying they would. I will never use them again
