If you're in Canton you have to give this place a try. Great, family-owned restaurant with friendly service, great food and a full bar. Today they had $5 mimosas and blood marys. The pecan crusted catfish was crispy and juicy, that crust is something to talk about. The shoestring fries were well seasoned. The beer battered cod was also amazing. From an appetizer we had the pimiento cheese and jam with pita chips. The pita chips were freshly fried and so good, but that cheese dip and peach jam were top-notch!They had a good crowd inside for a Sunday afternoon and we sat on the patio which is super cute and dog-friendly. I was too full for dessert but the desserts are homemade and I wish I had saved room. I'm a huge fan of a place that makes their desserts I sight and it's not too common anymore.

The staff were very friendly & professional, and the food was deliciously fresh! AMAZING!!

From the moment we walked in, everything was absolutely wonderful. Kind staff, great atmosphere, and later found out... amazing food! We went for a brunch Sunday morning, and I ordered a "Cajun Sausage Egg Skillet," with gouda grits. Let me just say that the team here really knows how to use seasonings. There wasn't a bland flavor in the whole mix! "Grand Ma's Chicken Biscuit," consisted of two delightful buttermilk fried chicken biscuits. Yes, you read that right. The fried chicken wasn't an aggressive crunch, but rather a light crispy consistency. This meal, accompanied with the breakfast potatoes, really tied everything together. Paula took really good care of us and honesty her recommendations guided us since it was my first time here. Lastly, if you're ever lucky enough to order the banana pudding, 100% order the banana pudding. I will be back, and I will be bringing friends! I will be back for their dinner menu especially!

Went back for lunch/dinner and still enjoyed the service. They are always friendly able to give good suggestions. I had the low country boil, fried grouper and she crab soup. The one thing I can say I cannot complain about the potion sizes!! I had grouper for days and they were good and fresh. I think the soup that day was missing something but still was decent and the boil... they do it right.

My wife and I had an early dinner on a Thursday. Not very busy being a little after 5:00. We were greeted immediately upon entering. As mentioned in other reviews, the ambiance is beach bar and tastefully done. The dining room appears very clean. Our server was a machine. No name tag but she was awesome. Had complete knowledge of the menu and today's specials. Didn't write our order down, which always scares me.. but she didn't need to. Very efficient she was... despite at least 4 other tables filling up. Had time to smile and humerus. She ran the floor by herself. Good job! The food. Similar to other restaurants of same type. They do seem to add their own creative spin. We had fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. For our entree's my wife had the shrimp special and I have Fish and chips. Everything was delicious and no complaints. The portion size of my fish was a little smaller than "the other place". Pricing seemed a little high... but that goes for about anywhere now a days serving cooked to order food.

    Unfortunate lumps. :(

Got a lot of buildup for this place. Unfortunately it let me down. Had shrimp and grits, I'm a native southerner with a wide travel experience, so while not an expert on the dish, I've had some excellent curd and hominy soup. This was not it. Pic attached with the lumps I pushed aside, about a quarter of the dish. Unfortunately, I accidentally ate a few as well. Two stars on the food, service bumps it up one cause they were quick, attentive, and very friendly despite being understaffed.

Glad we took a 'dive' over to Canton for lunch! Pardon my cheesiness but I couldn't resist! My husband and I decided to head out for lunch while in Canton and decided on Dive. We were greeted immediately and our server took great care of us the entire time we were there! We both had the blackened grouper sandwiches and they were delicious!! The grouper was cooked perfectly and the slaw really brought a great balance. It had a slight sweetness that was a perfect pair to the blackening seasoning. Fries were hot and crispy. The restaurant is casual and easy going and clean! I am definitely looking forward to another trip to this local spot!!

    Grand Opening 05/31/22

05/31/22. Grand Opening. Just love this new Seafood place. The servers are already well trained and menu knowledgeable. Smiling and engaging as you want them to be. And they are happy to make recommendations if you ask them. The decor fits right in. The different blue shades on the wall, seats and tables makes it seem like you are actually diving with the mermaids. Lol The grilled chicken tacos were delicious sprinkled with just the right flavors. The home made salsa was perfect for me. A little spice but not to much. And the thickness was just right. Not to thick and not to thin. The Shareable blackened Shrimp Po Boys were very tasty. 3 small Po Boys was just the right amount. And the 3 mini key lime pies were heavenly. One with Raspberry sauce, one with kiwi and one plain. They come in little plastic bowls so they're easily bagged for take home. I think North Canton GA has another winner here. They do everything right and only the first day! Congratulations and the best of luck to you.

Had brunch at Dive today. Very friendly service and pleasant greeting by the owner. Burger was very good as was the cheese omelet. Fish sandwich was good but not very filling as they were sliders. Homefries, French fries, and cheese grits were all okay, but below average for restaurants. Overall though, we enjoyed our brunch and would certainly return for the burgers or omelets.

    She Crab Soup

In the past, Dive has always been a pretty solid option for seafood in Canton. We made reservations for a large party, and while everyone was able to be seated, the architecture of the table used for 7 people made it very difficult for the older members of our group to situate and then get out (heaven forbid anyone need to use the restroom.) Our server was quite nice, but not trained properly in the drink selections or the menu items. They were out of stock with grouper, which is a major component to their menu. They were out of stock in many of the wine selections. The She Crab Soup relies heavily on cream for its flavor, but it lacks dimension, though it does have a reasonable amount of crab meat. Other seafood options tasted like they were approaching the end of their shelf/shell life. I wouldn't recommend the boiled peanuts; they're soggy & overly spicy. My Cliff's sandwich catfish had no indication that it was pecan encrusted, yet there was plenty of cornmeal. I will say, they have good hushpuppies. We bragged about Dive to the family, and that's why we selected them for our celebration, but it was disappointing. When you're dining with family, nobody in the group wants to hear constructive criticism, so this is my way of letting the restaurant know that they weren't on their game. I hope they improve, because I've had some great food experiences here.

    Carrot cake and chocolate cake

Service was outstanding, very polite and attentive! Not very large but roomy enough and not very loud, we were able to carry on a normal conversation at our table. Pimento cheese appetizer was very good, the crostini would've been better if they were warm. Shrimp ANF grits were seasoned perfectly and the andouille sausage added the perfect spicy kick. The carrot cake was absolute perfection as was the chocolate! Highly recommend and we will return.

I also visited the next day and gave them a second try. On my first visit I got a friendly greeting and placed an order for the double version of their House Smash Burger. Since they were parked in a gas station parking lot, and didn't have any soda offerings that I liked, I popped into the station and grabbed my favorite. By the time I'd paid my burger was ready. It was fresh and hot (so hot that I had to wait a bit so I could hold it to eat, LOL). The bun evidenced toasting and was nice and soft and large enough to sandwich the large patties with excellent crusting. Their special smash sauce is like a creamy Italian dressing and there was lots of it, giving it a tang. The lettuce was shredded, making it a bit messy, especially with so much sauce so be sure and avail yourself of the roll of paper towels they provide (however, not available on my visit on the next day). Also the pickles they use have a distinct clove taste, so I wasn't a fan of the flavor combination. On my second visit I got the same burger with just cheese and found it much more enjoyable. Even when scaled down it's still a generously sized burger. Across my visits I had both the fries and tots as a side. Both were very generous portions and nicely crispy and also served piping hot. Of the two the fries were my favorite. They were coated and had a nice seasoning. If I were at a festival where food trucks were the only option, I'd definitely favor this option as the food was pretty good, the portions generous, and it's fairly priced.

Why you ask, because Bobby's has a nice feature with their huge topping bar where you can put your own topping on and as much as you want. Onions cut 3 different ways. Tomatos diced or sliced, relish mustard, different peppers and just about anything else you can put on your hotdog. Lol. And I've never seen it messy like other places. Always neat, well stocked and clean. Buns are the soft top-sliced kind. Great for loading up lots of toppings. And the fries are always fresh and hot! They had a noticeably strong smell right away, which usually means they're not as fresh as they should be, especially at a $40 price point. We took them home, but every time we opened the fridge the smell hit us, so they ultimately went in the trash. Despite this particular experience, we've always enjoyed this place. My husband got a cinnamon apple whiskey sour, the mushroom Swiss burger and onion rings. The side patio had heaters going and it was a really pleasant experience out there now that the weather has cooled down. But y'all... Por que no gusto? I was so happy to see that little paper boat full of Brussels sprouts and they were so crispy. But I think I've said all along that "chipotle ranch" feels like a misnomer because I sense neither. (Husband confirms.) Yet they were SO good the first few times I had them, whatever they're dusted in. I stopped to think maybe my preferences have just changed that significantly in the past year or so. I absolutely did not taste Husband's drink because brown likka is diabolical. But he was a fan! He had me try an onion ring and it was just okay as well, unfortunately. They were definitely thin & crispy but I like a LITTLE somethin' to my food. Anyhoo, I did a quick search and asked if he wanted to try B&B again. Thank goodness he agreed, y'all. My only gripe with B&B is their parking lot. It rivals Trader Joe's for impracticality. So take your compact car! They had the corn hole stowed but heaters were blazing and there were people dining on the patio when we walked in. Better ye than me, folks! We were seated immediately and then we met our delightful server... Early server spotlight for Owen. Such nice energy for a gloomy Wednesday evening, really upbeat without being annoying, the perfect level of attentive. Go when he's there and reward his awesomeness as well! Okay, I decided this afternoon that I wanted a li'l blue plate special for dinner. And Husband wanted a burger. He got a spicy smash burger, the actual name escapes me. Spicy & smashed, she was! There was a good amount of heat from the pickled jalapeños so he took a few off. His recommendation is that they go for a smattering of the diced variety instead. (I've created a monster!!!) He was also very happy with his battered fries. Unless I'm misremembering, they remind me of A&W fries; not as seasoned or as battered as Checkers, but so good. What did I get? You're sweet to ask! I did three sides: garlic green beans, fried Brussels and fried okra. Yes, yes, and yes. They are so wild, I think all three were fresh! Can you even?! You know exactly what I'm talking about when I say frozen fried okra has a taste. If this was frozen ever, they need to patent that technology. The garlic green beans were giving Chinese food but better. Really balanced seasoning, good crispness, flavor. Green, if you can imagine! And the Brussels sprouts... With bacon and sauce... Those leftovers will hate to see me coming. "Leftovers?" I sense you ask incredulously. Yes. Because while perusing the menu online, I saw a nice, big picture of their Butter Toffee Cake. And I was instantly imbued with the knowledge that this cake would heal all my past traumas, pay off my student loans, and give me winning lottery numbers. Only time will tell on all counts. But if you order one thing at that restaurant, I demand it be that cake. The person handling those cakes went to the Hogwarts' Academy of Culinary Wizardry. I can hardly describe it and I have no idea what flavor ice cream is on top except it's the best one. If you like food, but especially butterscotch, or not - you need this cake. I blacked out after that and woke up here on Yelp, so... Please go try that cake.
