Greek salad was delicious as was everything else's

Cute local watering hole we stumbled upon. Very please with the food and service. Perfect place to grab a cold drink as well. Would come back again!

Pollard Sandwitch Wow--Divided Sky is lovely! Truly love this place and the food! Parking is in the lot below--walk up the stairs to the entrance! I tried the Pollard Sandwich and holy moly--I'm dying to eat this again. I tried to eat only half of it but it was too good not to finish! Their menu had some other tasty items on it as well which I'd love to try! The service is great and the vibe is chill. This is definitely my favorite place to grab a sandwich!

South Lake Brewing Company is located in the same plaza as Target, with plenty of parking available. South Lake Brewing Company is also dog friendly for those traveling with their pups When we walked in through the back entrance, we were greeted by an employee. After looking over the menu, we ended up ordering: Pilsner, $8- My husband ordered this one for himself. He liked it and had said he would order it again. Not really big on beer (although I do like German beers), I didn't have any. 2 Towns Huckleberry Cider, $8- I ordered this cider for myself and I thought it was fantastic. The sweet flavors of the huckleberry was prominent and excellent as a hard cider. --------------------------- (Total= $16) After my husband paid, the employee helping got our drinks right away. Then we just sat in the corner inside to just enjoy and relax for a while. The place itself was pretty empty, although a small amount of traffic was coming in. The brewery inside was pretty clean and so were the ladies' restrooms. Outside there was a corn hole for those that wished to play and also it was nice that there was some shade as well. If I was a local, I would definitely come back.

I ordered from the food truck outside. Very nice, very young guy took my order. Two smash burgers with cheddar cheese and no onions. I asked if I should get the extra patty for three additional dollars but he said he thought that the burger was plenty big with the single patty. When the food came out my burgers both had onions and Swiss cheese, not cheddar and my fries were ice cold and super greasy. I asked for some fresh fries, but by the time I got them and got back to the table, my burger was cold. I ate it without complaining about the onions and the wrong cheese because I hate to waste meat. And by the way, that beef patty was skimpy. Pretty much the whole burger was toppings, which were under the Patty so it made the burger look bigger. It did have good flavor, but it was unsatisfying in size. Also the fries were hot now but they were very soggy. I got pale ale from the bar as well as a nonalcoholic canned beer for my man. The bartender honestly seemed very disinterested in helping me. I paid and tipped and went back to the table. I didn't think the Pale Ale was anything special, it seemed kind of watery and flat. The nonalcoholic canned beer was very good according to my man. Pretty sad when the best part of your meal came in a can. Between my cost at the food truck and my cost at the bar, the total for lunch was $58. I would likely not return to this business.

The bartender (I didn't catch her name, but I wish I did) was absolutely amazing. She was so friendly and kind. We showed up dressed as Pitbull and his security so we definitely stood out, but she loved it and celebrated us and my sister. She made us feel welcomed and made it as fun of an experience as possible by trying to play a Pitbull song for us, but someone else skipped it. She gave us the last of the Jell-O shots which we greatly appreciated. She also invited us to return the next day to play Bingo at 3pm, but we couldn't make it. There's a music system (like a jukebox) where you can pay for songs you'd like to listen to. We paid for some songs that were more upbeat than the music that was playing when we arrived and it didn't seem to be well received by some of the other patrons. Others have the option to skip your songs (even though you pay for them). I personally had a blast and had great interactions with others in the bar, but others in my group had experiences that made them feel unwelcome by people in the bar so I deducted a couple stars from my review since it didn't seem to be inclusive. My sister was in the bathroom and overheard others saying negative things about our group so we called it a night shortly after that happened. I wish this place was a little more inclusive, but I would return just to visit with our bartender who was so welcoming to our group.

He mentioned they had an outdoor firepit and thought I would like it. When we were deciding on dinner, I said we should finally check it out. We walked in and sat ourselves at a high top. It's a combo of go up to the cash register and order plus a server will come and help you out while they deliver the food. Overall food wise, I thought everything was fine. The dip was cheesy. The peppers a little too salty. The salad fulfilled that green craving tho I found the dressing and cheese a lil too heavy handed. And the soup was the comfort I needed on a cold day. I found the fish to be a little heavier in batter than I prefer, but I like most things very lightly battered. The cocktail I got was nice. Balanced and refreshing. Their sangria was on tap, so they just filled up the glass. I did enjoy going outside after we were done eating to hang out around the firepit. Ran into another party of people and we chatted for a bit. We actually brought our drinks outside to enjoy as It was quite chilly that evening. Food was fine. Cocktails were nice. Definitely would go back for the outdoor firepit. REVIEW #3970

I went here with a few others on a warm July Friday night and it was poppin'! It was super busy,…read morealmost all the tables outside were full between here and the cocktail place next door --which I guess the outdoor patio area is a shared space? We had to go inside and ask where we were allowed to sit because there wasn't any signage that indicated a shared space vs. one building's/another's. This space is kid friendly and dog friendly so expect an overwhelming amount of both. They had overflow seating way in the back, somewhat in the woods in a tanbark area - which was basically empty but far away from the stage so it was hard to hear the music as you face the back of it. Yes, music! I actually specifically chose this spot on this evening because I wanted to hear some country music. I literally just googled and found the Tahoe live music page that shows which artists are playing when and where. The group did some classic covers. We sat facing the band but towards the back tables closer to the parking lot. It was loud enough to enjoy without the ear-piercing decibels when you sit right in front. Also, speaking to previous reviewers, this is Tahoe (not the Bay Area), so it definitely has a more casual vibe, and the type of place is in the name, you know? Anyways--so in terms of the ordering system, the way it works is you find a table FIRST, then someone from your party goes to get in line and order food inside. I believe there were multiple spots where you could also get your beer card if you weren't ordering food, but I'm not fully confident on that. The physical menus (up to date) have a QR code that links to an old menu (not up to date, from 2019 I think it was?), so watch out for that - because I tried to order a speciality pizza from what I saw on the QR online menu and that's no longer available. You can also find the updated version of the menu online - so maybe, AleWorx, if you read reviews, you can update the hyperlink. Waiting in line took about 20 minutes. They have menus available to look at while in line, so I wish people didn't wait until they're standing in front of a staff member to start pondering the menu. The beer card is a cool concept, I've seen it once before in another city. You put a credit card on file and get a blank key card for the tap wall. You have to place the keycard in the specific beer's card slot horizontally and leave it in there until you fill up your glass (found on the lefthand side of the taps). The idea is you can serve yourself however many ounces you want and you pay per--so you could try a taster of a whole bunch before figuring out what to get a glass of. On that night, they had mostly beers from their own brewery but also a few from other locations, including cider options, a hard seltzer, and sangria. After you order food, you get a number and tell the staff member where you are sitting so they can bring food out to you when it's ready. I think we waited about 15 minutes? Not sure, but it felt quick. All the staff members we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Pizza itself came out charred quite a bit around the crust (which was a bummer because I couldn't eat those parts and crust is my favorite) but overall had amazing flavor combinations. We had the Mora and the Supreme at our table and enjoyed both. It's definitely wetter in the middle depending on your toppings so I folded the bottom half of the slice upward to keep it all together. It was super filling so we ended up grabbing some boxes to-go with leftovers. We oven toasted the next day and it held up--still delicious! You have to go inside the building over by the tap wall area in order to checkout with your blank beer card. I wish you didn't have to go back in and close out. The other place I referenced has key card drop boxes with different tip amounts on it. It is definitely easier and more efficient but I guess maybe people like to see and confirm their final bill? I've never been to the other locations, so I cannot speak to them, but regardless, this one at the Y was a really nice evening!

If you have a big crowd, this place works (lots of tables, live music, lots of shareable foods),…read morebut I wasn't very impressed with the service and found the food expensive for the taste (tourist tax is definitely applied). I liked the beer cheese nachos and found this most 'worth it' for the price, given they are served with generous toppings. Cheese could have been spread around more since its more piled on top, but the chips were crispy and I loved the addition of black beans. A great shareable, or a large entree! For the pizzas, I tried the Mora (blackberry) and the Avventura. The prosciutto diparma were little salt bombs that overpowered the pizza in my opinion (I was expecting the thin slices of prosciutto tbh, they're kinda curled up and hard as they're baked in the oven and super salty), I could barely taste the blackberry (and a warm blackberry is kinda ehhh, I thought it would be more in the sauce). A cool concept, but I was definitely left disappointed with their execution. The Avventura was better, and I liked the red sauce in it. Crust/dough was mid overall. The beer wall is a cool concept, as it is pay by the ounce, but I wasn't the biggest fan of any I tried (the cider or strawberry sour, obviously I'm not a big beer fan haha). Also, the thing that soured my experience was the attitude of the cashier when we first ordered. I get it, it's summer and it's super busy, but he was very curt and had such an attitude, it kinda blew me away. After ordering, he informed us it would take 45 minutes for the food to come out, and "not any faster", as if we were going to argue (we weren't! we had a big party too and expected this!). I'm guessing he had some bad customers before us, but it is sooo unprofessional to act like that to more customers after. ALSO!! Our food came out in 20 minutes!! So it wasn't even that bad of a wait. I was baffled and his comments stuck around our party like a bad smell. Sooo yeah, don't recommend, there's other places that serve mid and expensive food around here to try instead without the bad service.
