Johns Creek doesn't have a whole lot of coffee shops other than Starbucks, so I had to visit this place. I went here with my friend the other day and absolutely loved the place! It's quite spacious and had plenty of tables and seats to do work or catch up with a friend. I ordered an iced chai latte which had the right amount of caffeine and sweetness level. My friend got an iced mango black tea and liked her drink. I will definitely be coming to this place again in the future! read more

My favorite coffee shop to go to! They have a huge menu (coffee, drinks, food, pastries) and a ton of seating. Despite the large shop, sometimes there really is no seating - usually sometimes one person takes up a 4 seating table. My menu favorites: hazelnut latte, vanilla cappuccino, white mocha macadamia latte, iced mocha It can get loud so bring your earphones and you're good! I came here on a Saturday and was expecting it to be packed but the place is pretty big for a coffeeshop so there were plenty available spots to work/study. They also have a drive-thru if you need a more convenient to-go option. They also have a lot of outdoor seating. It is so clean here and the decorations are simple and modern. I also love that there are so many tables near outlets! The coffee is great too, I got a simple house coffee and oatmeal. Although I was hoping to find hot breakfast sandwich options here, the oatmeal was okay. My boyfriend and I ordered the same drink and both were EXTREMELY different one tasted extremely watery and the other seemed like the other espresso from my drink was in his. I came here for a Galentines Day event and I was impressed. The decor is very chic and elegant. They had a variety of drink options and a lovely display of desserts. I asked the barista for a recommendation and she suggested one of their signature drinks. It was a lavender latte. At first I was skeptical because I wasn't sure how it would taste but it was delicious. I also had a couple of macaroons (couldn't resist) and they were delicious!! DIVINE...it was! My wife has been raving about this place ever since it opened (a year'ish or so ago) and I finally got a chance to check it out. It's located in Johns Creek on the intersection of McGinnis Ferry Rd and Old Atlanta Road in a new plaza with some restaurants slowly starting to fill the open spaces. Upon parking our car and walking towards the entrance, I noticed a very spacious outdoor patio (see picture below) with ample seating, tables and chairs which is a great touch to the place where more folks can sit and enjoy during the warmer months during the May-August months. As my wife and I walked inside, you will be taken aback by the sheer interior beauty (see pictures below). It's very neat, simplistic, aesthetically elegant, and it makes you're in Johns Creek. A West Coast vibe and certainly a great addition to the suburbs (we needed it). Most of us are accustomed to going to Starbucks for coffees and sit-downs, but this may be just the replacement. It's very spacious, has cool chairs to sit on, sofas, and a very cozy feel. A great place to come and read, study, work, and more... Divine's service was great too. No time did you feel rushed or someone was waiting for you to get out of your table... In regards to staff, the cashier allowed us to take our time (luckily there was no one behind us) as I perused their menu (see picture below). It's not extensive has your basic coffee, frappes, espressos, and more. I saw their holiday/winter special drinks (see picture below) and ordered their Candy Cane Mocha (see picture below) and my wife got the Mexican Hot Chocolate (see picture below). Side note, if you're on a time crunch and can't make it inside --- they do have a drive-thru so that's certainly nice and you want to get a great drink from your non-Starbucks/Dunkin locations. If I may (hate to do so) wish a waiter(ess) or at least a "runner" was present as my wife and I "dined-inside." I know this likely isn't typical at coffee houses, but with our drinks filled to the top...would've been nice if someone came to drop it off vs being potentially spilling some on the saucer. It may not be a big deal, but small things like that (to me, at least) go long ways and can differentiate yourself --- and the same applies for food as we ordered a cinnamon croissant (see picture below). SERVICE = GREAT (no difficulty navigating the menu, cashier and staff were great, and as stated above...wish there was a waiter(ess) or runner who brought our food/drinks while we were at our table). Per the above, our drinks were AMAZZZING. The Candy Cane Mocha was DIVINE (pun intended). It's been since I've enjoyed a nice holiday drink, but this definitely hit the spot and thankfully it wasn't overloaded with candy cane bits, whipped cream, or anything...just made right. My wife got their Mexican Hot Chocolate and she enjoyed it; said the spice was great and it'll kick in after a few sips! :) In addition to drinks (hot and cold offered), Divine also has a few food items available from sandwiches, salads, quesadilla, and more. Doesn't Divine sound already better than Starbucks? Well it gets better (in my opinion) as it's also cheaper than Starbucks. They value quality and are not in a mad-rush to make your drink so it will come in perfection vs being pre-made or incorrect. I'll definitely be back after the holidays to try some of other drinks --- matcha is available for those who enjoy it. Lastly, Divine does offer non-dairy options (i.e. soy, almond, coconut milk) for an additional 0.75 cents and sugar-free syrups which is also 0.75 charge...not taxing like other places. DRINKS = FANTASTIC (every sip was perfect and wanted more and more). If you couldn't tell already, I'm a big fan of Divine --- from the spacious setting it offers, various drinks and foods, aesthetically pleasing to the eye...a gem for the suburbs. The ambience is chill, no dress code, and they even have a private conference/meeting room you can reserve should you have a large party. What would be cool is if they had space heaters outside on their porch (so this could be utilized during the colder months) --- something to think about Divine. Nonetheless, my wife was right for hyping this place up and is a great add to Johns Creek. I've been eye ballin this place for many years because it looks gorgeous from the outside and finally got to come on a Saturday around noon. Upon the first few steps, it reminds me of Hansel and Gretal. They had a table of cookies and dried oranges for snacks and behind that is the cashier. Their menu is expansive. They have gelato, pastries, sandwiches and drinks -alcohol, tea, and of course coffee. I got the lavender latte and a cherry danish. They were both good. I see this place as a great meet up any time of the day and for hours upon hours of work or studying. The ambiance is nice. They have spacious seating outside and nice furniture throughout the store. It's also a plus that they have a drive thru that was pretty busy. So this place is very efficient. My only complaint was that the coffee lids were not shut properly and fell inside my car while I was driving. It also made my car extremely sticky and dirty. First the good stuff; great look to restaurant. The croissants were excellent, coffee very good. Customer service was ok, but the manager/owner has a lot to learn. First take down all the "negative signs". Basically they say things like our customer service sucks so don't expect anything. So before you even order you have a negative concept of the place. They have a great out door sitting area, but not set up. Maybe the manager is married to or dating someone there? But seriously, a girl is giving the manager a back rub?! Really weird. The same manager couldn't even turn around and welcome us when we came to the counter. The most of the breakfast menu wasn't available. Soooo why are you open if you aren't ready for customers? Reminded me of the customer service I get from a third world country. I got the Lavender Latte. The lid was not properly closed so it spilled all over my dress pants. I had to go back home and be late for my work. My job demands that I dressed professionally every single day! However, if you can make them taste well, then more power to you and they seem to make it taste well. All the things I have had here have been very good. I was looking for a local coffee shop not too far from home and I came across Divine Coffee on Yelp. It's a little further than I was hoping but I decided to check it out one Saturday morning. I had some computer work I needed to do. The place is very large and it was not very crowded when I arrived so I had my choice of seats, of which there are a variety. That is one thing I like in a local coffee house, they are not cookie cutter like Starbucks. I was able to setup for well over an hour with my laptop and no one seemed to mind. I really like coffee, but only on a handful of occasions has my relatively unrefined palette been able to distinguish between good and bad coffee. Divine definitely falls into "good" but whether there are unique flavors I could not tell you. Prices were reasonable and the selection was pretty average for a coffee shop. It was a nice change of pace from Starbucks and I would certainly be open to going back. However, I am not sure it is unique enough from that big national chain, given the drive, to draw me in regularly. read more
