My son fell in love with a corduroy pull out sectional with a "Cuddler" corner at Furniture Shack, and no other ones were up to snuff. He would not stop talking about the potential movie nights we could have on this couch. We went back to Furniture Shack the next day to sit on the couch again to confirm that it "had enough sink, Mom" and that's when we met Brett. He was super low pressure and they have the most adorable Yorkies eveeerrrrr. No snakey salesman pitch, no trying to push you into a sale. Promises to "have somebody call you" have been made but not kept, after telling my MIL that they couldn't even find record of the sale. Kind of hard to believe, especially because this dresser is one of their "specialty pieces" and very unique (she showed them pictures). So disheartening. Then they have random tags showing a discount % which is off the sale price not the discounted price and it comes to a different price. Oh and on top of that they are open to negotiation. So many different things to consider and deal with on pricing. The pricing is insane!! Even the "sale price" on items is super high. The sofa I looked at had a sale price of $999 and a store closing price of $798. I swear I saw this sofa at another store for $599. So high prices, friendly staff, and a fake store closing sale. Sounds like this store is just trying to make some money from people who think they can get better price from a fake store closing.
