So far my husband and I have had a great experience at Furniture Connexion. We were there last weekend looking for a new living room couch, loveseat, and chair. Also we were looking to buy a sectional for our family room. I'm happy to say that we found everything we were looking for. Tom was helping us and was low pressure and helpful. Staff was friendly but the pricing was so confusing. They are "closing....to restructure" they they have the "sale price" the "store closing price" listed. Then they have random tags showing a discount % which is off the sale price not the discounted price and it comes to a different price. Oh and on top of that they are open to negotiation. So many different things to consider and deal with on pricing. The pricing is insane!! Even the "sale price" on items is super high. The sofa I looked at had a sale price of $999 and a store closing price of $798. I swear I saw this sofa at another store for $599. So high prices, friendly staff, and a fake store closing sale. Sounds like this store is just trying to make some money from people who think they can get better price from a fake store closing. read more

After over a year, I walked in and he remembered most everything I bought. Just received my new couch from Furniture Connextion in Tucson. Everything went well, looked gorgeous. Placed in my room, no damage. So happy that I made the decision to spend the money to get a quality piece of furniture that would give me the comfort I needed at this time in my life. Money well spent and my back will thank me. I have never been so disappointed in my life, I sat on it and immediately felt that it was all wrong. I could not sit in it for any length of time. Overstuffed back cushions forced me to lean forward and my back was not happy at all. Okay I thought , this is new and needs to soften up. I tried the recliner and it seems weird that I find myself looking for something to rest my head on. I have a good quality recliner that never makes me wonder where to rest my head. No comfort there . So I sat in the middle seats. Ridiculously uncomfortable. Again the overstuffed cushions made the seats so short from front to back. I really think if you wanted to take a nap, you would fall off this couch. So now I have a very expensive , long awaited luxury that I was so looking forward to, couch that all I want to do is sell it . Trying to make the most out of a bad decision on my part, I found that the back cushions had a zipper. I removed 4 large trash bags of some kind of white fluffy stuffing . Not enclosed in a bag to keep it contained, I was a bit shocked at that. This helped a bit but, how much should I take out. I still feel that I am being pushed forwards by over bulky cushions. If I take any more out, the cushions will lose their shape. What to do, well nothing I think as the store was very adamant at making sure I understood that this is a custom order and is non returnable. I understand that policy but what do I do . Everyone at the store was wonderful, so helpful . I had been looking for months to find good quality comfort. This is not it. Are there any answers, any help, anywhere? read more

The in-store furniture selection is great and really fits our style, however, having the correct furniture delivered has been an absolute nightmare! We bought three pieces of furniture and all three delivered pieces were wrong! This is 100% the fault of Furniture Connexion and not the 3rd party delivery service, which was great. We drove all the way back to the store and let them know, which they hastily notated and scheduled another delivery. A few days later our furniture was re-delivered and still one of the pieces was completely the wrong piece! The store called an hour later to schedule for next day delivery, which is now today, so I decided to write a review while I wait. It's incredibly frustrating that we've had to rearrange our work schedules three different times now for delivery, fingers crossed it won't be four. ***edit*** Furniture Connexion contacted me soon after posting the review to remedy the issue. No frills, but their prices seem cheaper and it's not shlock. Even as cheap as internet only stores. Name brands. Not pushy, almost feels aloof at first. That's cool though because you are given a few minutes to try it and they will get the job done. Also, for now anyway, no long wait for it to be manufactured/ordered. It can be ready in a day or two. Really helpful website. Delivery is as high as everyone else. Bummer. Movers may be "third party" so ask if you need it? I still prefer to do that myself. (While we're young). And if local, it's always cheaper to DYI. Pick up either here or at NE Portland warehouse. Check these guys out. Sort of reminds me of a bit like Levitz that they don't hover over you, without the car salespeople tactics like at some furniture stores. Bought: Reclining Loveseat Salesman: Tom Tosh Tom is great. We walked in, he asked what we wanted (loveseat) then pointed us to the loveseats and LEFT US ALONE, no crazy helicopter salesman-ing. After about 20 minutes, we were jumping back and forth between two models. Tom appeared at this point and helped us decide on which was best (same-ish models, mostly fabric differences etc). We said we wanted to view another store, he never even blinked and gave us his card and a "thank you". We called in our order next day. He set delivery for 3 days later. Clean, simple, painless. We went for curb-side delivery as I thought $70 extra to get it inside was egregious, however the loveseat comes in a box "mostly" assembled. So if you are elderly or order a large couch etc, the fee is VERY fair to get it inside. I would have paid the extra $70 if I had known, but I'm cheap and stubborn. If we need more furniture stuff, we'll be going back for sure. Easy wins here. read more

Rating 2 stars for the decent furniture, I purchased a bed frame in October and the pieces didn't exactly line up like they should have, but being a carpenter, I was able to make it work. Rating 1 star for customer service. My wife went to pick up our bed frame, and after realizing it wouldn't fit in the back of our 4Runner with the seats down, I was on my way to meet her with some straps so we could throw it on the roof rack and tie it down. To my surprise, when I arrived at furniture connexions the bed was already shoved in the rear cargo area, because they ensured my wife they could make it fit. What they didn't say, was that they could make it fit without damage to our car. When I unloaded the cardboard boxes containing the bedframe, I noticed a large scrape on my roofliner, which I was able to buff out, and a long scrape on the back of the rear seat that was folded down and it popped the metal trim up about an inch. After contacting the GM Lorrie, he ensured me would make it right and have an upholstery employee fix it. He then told me his upholstery guy wasn't able to fix it, and I should get an estimate. I scheduled an appointment and got the repair quoted for about $518. Then after 2 weeks, I got a long message from corporate saying they won't pay for it because they're not at fault. After emailing them again, I haven't gotten a call or response for over 3 months now. I feel I have given them plenty of time to do the right thing, even going out of my way to get my own estimate for them (because they asked me to) just to get rejected. If they advertise on their website that they will help load furniture, I would assume they would take responsibility to take reasonable care loading items. Put simply, this is just not fair. I would recommend looking for furniture elsewhere and save your self the time, hassle, and misery. read more

Gresham Furniture Connexion sold two large chairs to my mother. When their delivery drivers arrived, they charged her an additional $40.00 per chair just to move her old chairs out of the room, into her garage, in addition to the $150.00 delivery charge. When my mother was able to examine the chairs more closely, she realized that they were of extremely poor quality and were not the color she had chosen at the store. When she tried to return them, immediately after delivery, the store charged her to pick them up, and refused to return her money, offering only store credit. Furniture Connexion sales personnel misled and took advantage of my mother, selling her poor-quality furniture at an inflated "sale" price, promising free delivery and a warranty, which didn't exist. Then they refused to let her return the unsatisfactory furniture for a fair refund, on the same day it was delivered. They are a horrible company. Do not do business with them. read more

The gal working was very knowledgeable and helpful but not pushy. Their prices are fantastic. We found something we loved and bought it that day. They delivered it 3 days later at 8 am for free. The delivery guys were very nice as well. They have a great selection and I was thrilled I didn't have to wait 6-8 weeks for an order! The sofa/loveseat set we bought at another furniture store about a year ago was no longer in stock. They were nice enough to direct us to Furniture Connexion who did have it. I went and saw it, and it was updated, but basically exactly the same as what we had, so we could complete our furniture set. Not only that, but the newer design of the sofa is slightly deeper so it's more comfortable to sit on, and the whole thing assembled in a slightly better way. They had a lot of other furniture that was very tempting to browse through, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I purchased a reclining sofa from Fred Meyers last year. About 10 months after, one of the springs on the recliner handle broke. I reached out to Fred Meyers and they provided me with Furniture Connexion & Porter Designs for my warranty. I spoke with Tony Newman and he immediately sent out the replacement part. Fast forward two months later (now January 2023), and the frame separated on the back right side. This caused the arm to sag. I reached out to Mr. Newman once again, and after a few emails he sent out Big Sky Upholstery NW to come out and fix it. It was a 15 minute fix! Both Tony Newman and Big Sky Upholstery NW have outstanding customer service. I highly recommend this company not only for their products, but for the customer service as well. 1 review Share review Embed review 7/4/2020 i went to furniture connexion to buy a queen matriss and box spring and had a sales person show me medium firm matriss ,, he shows me one set and he told me this is the last day for the sale price and i bought the set,, which was not the truth about the price because when i went back there 2 days later to look at other matrises the price was the same price that i paid,,,, i did have the set deliverd 2 days later and my lady friend and i took the plastic off the box spring there was a hole in the bottom of the box spring that was taped and my other friend was there looked at the matriss and told me it was a little too soft ,, so i called lisa at the store told her about the box spring,, she told me to come back and look at other matrisses so my lady friend and i go back to the store and i go there and and lisa tells me to try out the matresses and said is there any way you could at least show me a matriss i dont know nothing about matrisses ,, i have been to other furniture places they always willing to help customers , well its like lisa didnt want to help me , and i said need help or i will take back the matriss and box spring and buy it some place else, because i was already upset about the hole in the box spring and there was another sales person to the right sitting on a sofa said lisa you need to help the customers ,, this was not a lie because my lady friend wittiness every thing that was said,,and lisa did find me a better matriss and box spring and took care of me and got it deliverd ,, i still will keep buying from furniture connexion read more

New to the area? Need new furniture? Need a big selection to choose from? Furniture Connexion was by far one of the best decisions we made when first moving here to Oregon last week. We were in need of a new couch, coffee table, and end table since we moved cross country and wanted to move as little as possible. Lisa was an absolute life saver and probably one of the best sales associates I've ever talked to. Can we move that end table by another couch to see how it will look? No problem! Done. Is it possible to get this coffee table with a little more color? Done. (Seriously! It was a custom coffee table with blue paint on it. The floor model didn't have that much of the blue accents and Lisa came through on making sure we got a more colorful unit) When can it be delivered (it's currently Wednesday)? How does Friday sound? There was a small hiccup with our order and the warehouse didn't put our end table on the shipping invoice with our coffee table and couch. Big issue right? Nope! Lisa saved the day again and guaranteed that we would receive it that same day even if she had to deliver it herself. She called back a few minutes later to say the warehouse manager would deliver it when he got off of work. At this point we're thinking this can't be true. Sure enough, right as promised he shows up with our end table at our door. If we are ever in the need for more furniture we will definitely go through Furniture Connexion. I can not recommend this company or their employees highly enough. They 100% have all of my future business. read more

We were moving from Beaverton to Salem and still made the trek out here for furniture. Their prices are roughly the same as IKEA but you can find pieces that aren't in every neighbor's home and you won't need to replace them every year or two. Lisa helped us find some new pieces that fit our style, needs, and budget perfectly. We bought a sofa, love seat, chair, desk, desk chair, coffee table, end table, and console table. Combined it cost $2200 including delivery to Salem. My only nitpick would be a few small dings in the wood (easily fixed with a fill crayon). This was my first time at Furniture Connexion. They have a lot of unique and one of a kind inventory. They have a beautiful selection of pieces that would compliment any look you are going for. I was looking for a dining room Table made of solid wood and with a live edge. To my surprise they had several in stock. I have searched other local furniture stores around the area and in the city. Let me tell you, you cannot beat the quality and pricing that furniture connexion had. I ended up getting even more pieces because I had saved on the original piece I intended to buy. They have a better selection than most furniture stores and are knowledgeable about their products and the specs of them The sales person Tom, had helped us. He was patient, diligent and was able to answer all of my questions. He kept good communication the whole time but did not pester me into buying. There was a certain console piece we wanted and he ensured that it was the first piece he had the warehouse open and unbox for me to look at. That was such quality service. He helped us with several pieces and we will be going back for the other rooms of our home that we want to furnish. For his quality service, it is worth going back. He made a basic furniture shopping trip into a very successful one. If I find a piece that is the same or similar to what they have and may possibly be just $10-50 dollars cheaper somewhere else, I'd still go to Furniture Connextion because of the quality of service and customer service that Tom provided us was beyond the worth of saving only a couple dollars elsewhere.
