I first came to Divine Elysian Wellness for laser hair removal. It's something I've wanted to do for a long time and put off because it seemed overwhelming. I am SO glad I found this place. I have had amazing results and within 2 sessions was seeing less leg hair. My leg hair was thick and dark, I never thought it was be possible to have it fully removed. I have done 6 sessions and maybe shave my legs once a month. Alyssa is awesome and I look forward to my appointments with her. She is very knowledgeable about the services she provides and what to expect. She answers all my questions and I feel comfortable talking to her about private topics. The entire process is completely painless and only takes 30-40 minutes (for full legs). I was a little self conscious about some mosquito bites I had on my legs and she made me feel completely at ease. Alyssa - thank you! You are a gem and trustworthy person. Recently, I decided to try their tattoo removal. I have a small tattoo behind my ear that I have been in the process of removing for almost 4 years. I had been going to a tattoo removal specialist in Hermosa Beach and my tattoo was very slowly fading. I had easily done over 10 laser sessions. The tattoo was probably 75% gone/faded. After 2 sessions with Alyssa my tattoo is almost completely removed! The place I was going to before had not been turning the machine up high enough. Although it was painless, I spent thousands of dollars and countless hours driving to appointments for very minimal results. I still have a credit at the other place that I will not be using it. The WORST experience I thought about writing a review and was not sure, but it keeps bothering me I went for injectable, treated by some woman named Nancy- I am not sure if she was on some type of drugs - but she was talking really fast, unclear on the pricing- I should have walked out but stayed- she spilled more Botox down dripping on my face than in my face- she was so careless in her skill. Was sooo rushed. Talking as if she was on speed. Then when I paid the receptionist charged me a different price and the receipt said juvaderm injection- I told her I did not have juvaderm but she said that the price is the same- which is not at all what Nancy said- by this time I just wanted to get OUT. When I got in my car I had blood dripping down my face, Nancy did not even clean my face after injecting me- Unbelievable - the worst most unprofessional experience - I hate to complain but not only do I think they are on drugs but charging inappropriately This is not my first experience doing injectables but went there because it was close and one friend recommended- NEVER AGAIN- stay away from here!!! read more

Last year, I bought a package of 10 laser hair removal for full legs, underarms and private areas, and I really wanted to wait until all of them were used and decide if I would write a review. I'm writing this to help future clients set expectations. I wanted this business to work, but reliability was a consistent problem. Today I was already in the salon and waiting for my last treatment, when the owner called the salon to say she was still at home and didn't know when she would be able to leave. This came more than 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. This was the third last-minute cancellation I've experienced. On a previous occasion, my appointment was canceled without any call or notice at all. This is especially frustrating because hair removal appointments require shaving in advance, which makes sudden cancellations inconvenient and uncomfortable for clients. I was always early and always seen late. Unfortunately, after 10 treatments, I've also seen little to no results. Between the repeated scheduling issues and the lack of effectiveness, I can't recommend this business. I hope this helps others make an informed decision before booking. In the last two months, this doctor's office has gone completely downhill. What used to be a smooth process has turned into a nightmare of disorganization and poor communication. Nancy called to switch my appointment to a phone visit, and ever since then, my insurance has denied my prescription because the office isn't sending in the correct paperwork. My insurance even provided a number for her to verify over the phone, and she still hasn't called. As a result, I've had to pay out of pocket for my semaglutide. The first time I picked it up, I was given only part of the dosage and had to return so they could correct it . Since then, I've had to call every single week just to check if my medication is ready--only to be placed on hold, ignored, and never called back. I've even waited at the reception area for over an hour with no staff in sight. I'm beyond frustrated. What should be basic care has become a stressful and expensive mess. They Told me I'd get a call the next day which I never did a month later I'm still waiting I was told my prescription was sent in three days ago called the pharmacy. No prescription yet. When I first started going to Devine Elysian, it had a great staff very accommodating but now the last 9 months this business has gone downhill the turnover inside the office is really bad. I understand now that they've been diluting the IV bags. I would ask why the different color always an excuse, but her own employees are telling secrets. The doors are closed & locked half the day. Nobody answers the phones. Bill collectors, threatening letters pounding down the doors and Nancy is nowhere to be found. She's there one or two hours a day and checks out so many clients have left messages for her and she will not return calls. This business is going nowhere. read more

Very disappointed with the clinic I had went to get a eyebrow tattoo removal an employee working there talked me through the process and told me I would see a little difference so I agreed to proceed with the procedure. I did my research and they didn't do nothing to my eyebrows no pain no swelling no less color NOTHING. I went to show them and the employees there agreed with me they talk to the Nancy, she didn't approve her employees to do a touch up. She said in the first and second section there wasn't going to be any difference but many videos and other places say otherwise that the difference would have shown a little bit. I was a first time customer, referred by my co-worker and good friend, even though I had heard you say you heard "rumors" that they dilute their products I trusted my coworker and she talked me into to trying it, I made an appt and saw the owner Nancy, she suggested I get 120 units of Dysport (I normally only get around 100) I paid almost $600 including tip? after two weeks it looked like I had nothing, so I waited another week and half and went back and showed her (Nancy the owner) she agreed I most likely needed more, and offered to inject me 20-40 more units at an additional (about $300) so I said "so my injections would cost $900?" and she said "yes". i declined, I walked out feeling ripped off, I can't believe how expensive how much this stuff doesn't work, I've been getting injections for almost 15 years and I've never paid that much, I don't recommend this place at all! read more

Follow up- I had a missed call from "Divine Elysian Wellness" and assumed this was an attempt to make things right and so I called back. That's what I get for having expectations... The receptionist took my call and asked me why I'd left them a bad review to whom I explained that it was unusual for fresh needles to not be opened in front of you and, as well, filled in front of you... this way you know everything is fresh and clean and on spec. To which he replied and said something along this same lame lines as the owner here off keeping their product in the refrigeratorin he back which is fine but you can bring that from the fridge along with the unopened syringe and still do all of that in front of me. WHICH IS WHAT LITERALLYECRU LEGITIMATE PLACE DOES. I mention that she also didn't dispose of the needle or syringe upon completion which you should always see them immediately do...WTF There were a few more comments along the lines of, "We've been doing this for 15 years!" and "Well she's our lead training technician!" Never once an apology or even recognizing that maybe their practices aren't exactly up to code. Absolutely zero attempt to make things right. I'm not stopping here... you guys are all too defensive and doing shady business. I'm definitely going to be making some calls to have this place looked in to before I forget about this gross experience. ***PSA*** Ladies, your nurse or technician or preferably PLASTIC SURGEON should always have no problem doing all of this in front of you and will honestly never even have to be asked to do so if they're on the up and up. YOU SHOULD ALWAYS SEE THEM OPEN AN ENTIRELY NEW SYRINGE, FILL IT FROM THE BOTTLE IN FRONT OF YOU, AND AFTER ADMINISTERING, YOU SHOULD PLAINLY SEE THEM DISPOSE OF IT IN A BIOHAZARD SHARPS BIN... I've been to this spa 2 times in person asking for acupuncture coverage for my insurance. Both times I left my insurance information with the front desk in hopes someone would let me know coverage information. Also my wife called to follow up 2x and she was told someone would get back in touch with her. In all, 4 occasions where we asked about this and never heard back about services. My wife nor I ever heard back at all. Overall I think the staff are nice but there is a disconnect with the customer service. Even if you don't take my insurance I would expect at least a courtesy call letting me know after all the back and fourth and to maybe explain what out of pocket costs might be. What sucks is I live quite close to this spa and now I'm going to have to find a place that actually wants me as a customer. read more

The nurse that did my Botox was competent and friendly however when I'm about to pay the front desk guy Kevin asking me how much do I want to put for tip? Excuse me? I have never been asked to tip at any medspa I have been to (I have been to many!). Is this a recent thing? Do you tip when a person spent literally a minute on your face? I understand if it's a facial or massage but for a Botox? Are you serious? If you read this review please consider this. I highly recommend this place, I had laser hair removal with Alyssa on my forearms and full legs , she is awesome and so sweet!So far and I haven't had barley any hair growth since my treatments, just a few hairs but not even enough that I notice. I came here originally for a massage. My massage therapist was amazing. She ended up recommending their chiropractor because of my herniated disc. I was hesitant to go to another chiropractor because in my 15 years experience, they're all the same. Dr. McGee does chiropractic differently. He actually does an assessment every time, reassesses you after he adjusts you, and the adjustments aren't always the same, unlike other places I've been. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. McGee! His patient plans are individualized, whereas with other Chiros, they always try to get you in 5x a week, then 3x and 2x and then once a month. Dr. McGee started seeing me 2x a week, then spaced me out to whenever I needed, which turned out to be maybe even once a month. He really cares about his patients and I am very grateful that I got to experience this type of chiropractic care and his services. The staff there are also incredibly nice and attentive. Didn't try their other services, but I know they offer IV drips amongst other things. read more
