The location is convenient. I always been able to get in within an hour or so, without having an appointment. The staff are fun, outgoing, friendly and enertaining in a good way. The space is a bit tight, having to step over feet and not a lot of waiting area, but they make it work. If it were just a bit larger, it would get a five star rating. On my last trip, I desperately needed a hair cut and style. It was a treat to be waited on by hairstylist Denise. She was creative, sweet and did a great job. I enjoyed her throughness and attention to detail. The time she spent on my head was was unexpected, but awesome. She made it an experience, not just a haircut. They offered a check-in offer, which was a neat addition. Knowing they keep in touch with technology and offer such an option is fantastic. Overall, the staff makes me giggle, the experience is worth the money and the hairstylist did a great job. I will go back and would reccommend Devine to others looking for a quality hair experience in the Latrobe area. read more

Worst hair experience of my life and very overpriced. I have never paid so much to get my hair done. The girl that did my hair got bleach all over my clothes, destroying two layers of clothing. Not only did I have to pay an outrageous amount to have this disaster done, I also have to buy new clothes. If that is not enough, my hair looks terrible and I am going to have to pay to go somewhere else to have it fixed. My suggestion, don't take the risk. I'm sorry that I did. read more

I was in Latrobe and needed a hair cut but had no idea where to go for it. I searched on Yelp and went to the top rated place. It turned out to be a great move. Divine Hair Studio gives the best hair cut in the Latrobe area. Specifically, for a man's hair cut, Jamon has some of the best skills I've ever seen. When I'm in Latrobe I would not go anywhere else and I would travel a good distance to get a cut from Jamon. He's a true pro. read more

I am new to the area and looking for a stylist. I moved here from a diverse west coast metropolis. I booked an appointment to have my hair shampooed, blown out and set so I could check out the place. The place is conveniently located right off route 30 and there is plenty of parking. I found the salon to be small, space was tight between work stations and the chairs for waiting customers where too close to the work stations for my comfort. I requested a service rarely performed around here as my stylist wasn't sure where the hot rollers were kept and the set was dusty and outdated. The stylist was a bit rough on my roots when back-combing and unfortunately my style did not hold and had already begun falling out before I made it home. I saw a customer getting color and noted there was a lot of dye on her skin. Another stylist applying highlights remarked about getting the chemicals on her hands and I wondered why she wasn't wearing gloves. All in all, it wasn't for me - I like to go to the salon to escape and relax. On the positive side, the staff was very friendly, offering me a beverage and even some food that was delivered while I was there. And the close quarters are conducive to lively group discussions and the place was hopping with a lot of walk-in regulars. Definitely had the small town family vibe. read more
