And day of, they message you through the system and give you a way to check in, as you arrive. We had intended for this to just be a few inches off for summer, but decided to go all in with a full summer chop! Rachel was game!! She asked for any inspiration photos and gave a detailed consultation to ensure every detail. My wife asked for her to cut off the bulk of the hair dry.. to avoid shampooing all of the extra length.. and to get some cute photos and videos of the long hair chop!! Rachel was amazing! She cut the full length (7") in batches to continue to check if she wanted more. She helped to explain how even minimal face framing would help the short cut look better. Then she went above and beyond helping to explain how to best style it, give tips on products and tools, and recommendations on continued haircare. The haircut is shear perfection!! Going long to short with a new stylist is not common, but Rachel doesn't make you feel like a first time guest.. and she is very knowledgeable about hair to give you exactly what you want Needless to say, my wife already booked her next appointment with Rachel and intends to be a client for cuts to come! A one chair shop with Sarah making you feel dapper... As soon as I walked in, she treated me like she knew me and was so easy to talk to. You can tell that she loves to build relationships with her clients and make your haircut a fun time for you too. She has been cutting hair for over 14 years and honestly knew exactly what to do for my hair. She took time with every detail yet I was in and out of the chair quickly to start my day. I scheduled through Facebook with her and she immediately responded to my request.. even when I adjusted the appointment due to a change in plans.. the booking was flexible and simple. The haircut is great!! After cutting, she offered to wash my hair.. which is such a great service. Washing away the stray little hairs... plus there's something relaxing of someone shampooing your hair and scalp. Jumping back in the chair, she blowdried and consulted on styling. She added texture spray to help style it without the feel of a gel. With the added wash and style, I could head straight to work without needing to head home to shower after the haircut. I love that they have online appointment setting (but you can also call as well). It is a small salon, so you need to book in advance rather than trying to walk in or get same day appointments. The nail area is small, but clean and beautifully decorated. There are two pedicure stations and two nail stations. The pedicures don't have those massaging chairs you see at mall salons but they don't need them. The great experience and service you receive more than makes up for a silly addition like that. There is a large variety of color options (including many with sparkle and some of the newest releases from OPI). One thing to note is that the nail salon is up a flight of stairs. I had an ultimate moisturizing pedicure with Erica. She was friendly and courteous but not overly chatty. The pedicure was extremely relaxing and she took time with each step. My feet were in pretty rough shape since it had been several months since my last pedicure and she made them look and feel fabulous.
