Save time money and aggregation. The first two times I went I saw the same person. The second time the technician clearly did something wrong with the dip or top coat. With in hours the top coat and some of the yellow were gone. Dull and missing. I did call and they said to come in and they would fix it. While I appreciate they fixed I needed to find time and comeback and sit for another hour. It really was not really not a a courtesy, they were damaged after a few hours and there policy is if they break or don't stay on they will fix with in two week. I have also been told by technicians three week. Today I went in and saw yet another technicians. She wanted me to rub my nails on the paper towel in the acetone. Even told me I was not doing it correctly. After way too long in the actetone I told her no more soaking. I like my nails extremely short. She decided I needed them cut. She cut one too short and proceeded to search the black towel for a piece of my nail too glues it back with super glue. I have never ever seen this done. I told her that I needed my nails to be on the thicket side or else they chip and break. I asked for another coat and she said it would be fine. Thick enough. Not even a week later and one is chipped. And now 2 days later most are broken. The owner said my nails were thin and cracked. My nails are not cracked and if they are too thin this salon made them that way. I have not had nails since last year. I am all for people having fun and enjoy their work environment. However there were 7-8 technicians waiting for customers. They were extremely loud,'laughing squealing and talking. incredibly loud. As I said I am all for having a good time but, this is a nail salon not a party. I don't want to be that person but I also want to relax. I did speak with the owner who did not seem bothered nor cared. Then her computer and payment method had issues so I had to stand there for at least 5 minutes. I have been getting my mail done for close to 30 years. I know what the process is. All in all awful. I have had my nails done. For 30 years and I have NEVER had someone search for a piece of my nail to glue it back. That would be called a tip. read more

I requested acrylic with French tip, which came out decent however the Polish could have been done much better it seems kind of rushed in the polish is streaky. The nails were also bumpy. When I walked it the order of chemicals is pretty strong. They could use some serious ventilation. I made an appointment but had to wait about 10 mins. I was offered a beverage and noticed there was only one nail tech. Linh was sweet and once she got started, diligently worked both of us. Her work is good but with the technique she applied my nails just didn't last even a week. A tad of a bummer but I'll be back because she was good and quick. I've been coming to this nail salon for 5+ years and have loved every minute of it up until my last visit. I had called in to make sure my nail tech was available and was told she was. As I got there, there was a lady who started the prep of my nails and I had asked her if my tech was there and she replied no, I was wondering why you then lied to me on the phone as I would have waited till another day for my tech to be available. I had gave Alice (a new hire tech) a chance to work on my nails and man was it a mistake and a DISASTER! The way she was doing my nails was like it was her first time doing nails in general. She also was taking so long doing them that her husband took over one hand while she did the other (I was there for over two hours). I got a French blue dip painted on (instead of dipping it) the color is now wearing off (days later, not even a week) due to this and her only doing one coat. I came back a week later because I broken a nail and her husband ended up fixing my nail which was ALSO A DISASTER! He couldn't even figure out the right color to match my other nails and had to redo them twice (after I had argued with him that they didn't match, he still didn't wanna change it until I said you're going to have to redo this) and still not matching. Highly HIGHLY DON'T recommend going to Alice or Sam, they will leave your nails looking a mess!! read more

Mia does an incredible job every time! She was more than ready to help me in finding exactly what I wanted and she was able to do things other salons didn't dare to! Most salons don't have nearly as large a selection of colors, nail charms, and nail stickers! This design and charm work was no easy feat and Mia did it with ease and care! I got a pedicure a few weeks ago. I wasn't able to write a review until now because I was sick with COVID. However, this is NOT a place I would recommend despite the pretty interior. Phoebe gave me a manicure and pedicure and it ended disastrous. While doing my pedicure, she cut my big toe deeply with a tool. Instead of her applying pressure to stop the bleeding, she continued to paint around my toenail, putting some green drops on for disinfectant. My toe was still bleeding 25 MINUTES later! My toe still hurts to walk on. The biggest issue I have is that these nail techs are trained on how to stop bleeding and disinfectant procedures, which she did not follow. (She even told me how her school kept making her do disinfectant procedures, only for her to do this to me). She continued to paint my toes and literally painting around my toes. I told her about it and she just used more disinfectant. I watched her become more and more irritated and rush through the rest of the process. When she was done, I had dried blood under my entire foot. I had to SCRUB my own foot to clean off the dried blood that she left on there! This is unacceptable!! If I'm being honest, this is enough for me to turn her/Lycoris in to the TDLR (Tx Dept of Licensing & Regulations) because she didn't follow procedure and the manager did not uphold any standards. On top of that, she didn't do pink and white nails, she painted on a French manicure and charged me an extra $5 for something I didn't ask for. When I told the manager, he apologized and offered me $5 off. So basically I got $5 off for the French manicure that I didn't ask for in the first place. This was not handled correctly at all. Not following procedure is how people get infections or even worse. Again, I do NOT recommend this place. If they can be this careless and callous with me, they will do the same thing to you. read more

This place disappointed me deeply yesterday. I came in asking for a simple almond French tip. The color the lady suggested to me was fine on the "finger model", but once applied to my real nails with nail extension, you could see the transparency between my real nail and the tips. I mentioned I did not like the way it was turning out, and how we could fix it. The "owner" lady walked up to my station with a passive aggressive attitude, justifying what a good job the nail tech did and saying "you chose the color". I explained I agreed to the shade, however it was not turning out well and wanted to fix it. Instead the lady who claimed to be the owner was attacking me verbally and in Vietnamese speaking on me to her employees. I asked to please just remove them and we could end it there. All they did was clip the extensions and did not soak off the base. Also, I did get cut during some aggressive filing and it hurts like hell. No one offered to clean the blood or disinfect. Customer service is HORRIBLE. Please speak up if you do not like a service. As a customer, we are paying for a service. It should not be a problem to perfect/ fix an issue. I don't know how this business is standing today with the customer service the "owner" provides. The lady sitting next to me for her service had a minor complaint on her nails and asked to have it fixed and the owner over stepped to justify the tech's work as well, disregarding what she wanted. I have been coming here for a while each time it was great until my last time. I came in for a manicure and pedicure. the front desk person was nice asking me what I wanted etc. I was the only person in the salon and it took about two hours for my service to be completed. I expected it to take a while but not two hours... not sure if that was normal. On top of that, my nail artist did not greet me at all. No hello/hi. he just reached for my hands and began. when he began after there were so many miscommunications and he ended up leaving to help someone else after he already started. about 10 mins later I was told that the front desk person would pick up where he left off but she never did. I then returned to the man and he completed my nails once again not greeting me or apologizing for the long wait. I wish there would have been communication and better customer service and my experience could have been way better. I had a great experience with employees, and they did a great job on my nails and nail extensions/design; however, the acrylic nail extensions lasted about a week and a half (as opposed to the usual 4-5 weeks that I'm used to), and each one broke off in such a way that it tore off all of my fingernails and made all of them bleed, hurting terribly. It's been a week or two since my first fingernail ripping, (5 more have ripped off since then) and I'm still bleeding. I understand that this is sometimes a natural experience with nail extensions, but not after just 10 days. That just feels ridiculous to me, after a $50+ appointment. read more
