The ladies here are so sweet, I feel like Courtney went out of her way to fix the nails I didn't like but I left super unhappy and didn't have the heart to say anything. I'm not sure what is happening with my nails right now. They are super thick and actually hurt, my index finger nails look awful still even though they were redone completely when I complained. She was very patient and accommodating but... I've seen other nails she has done and they've looked nice, mine on the other hand... I just don't know what I'm going to do now. I'm way to nice of a person to call and ask for a refund but going back to have them fixed would make me feel uncomfortable. So I guess I'm out $55 and have to pay someone else to file off the gel and just have them redone elsewhere? Super sad to go and have a great atmosphere, then be so let down on end product. read more

I've been going to Divinity to get my nails, toes and the occasional hair color/cut for well over a year now. "My girl," Carly, is absolutely fantastic! She is professional, courteous and super fun to be around. The salon is always clean and everyone is incredibly welcoming. The quality of service they provide is unmatched by any one in town. They are always busy and booked out, but scheduling in advance is worth it, to me, to have the highest quality experience in town! I highly recommend them! read more

I've been going to divinity salon for about a year and a half now and won't go elsewhere for a cut. Before moving from eugene to springfield, I had tried 5 or 6 salons with but was not impressed with any of them (including some of Eugene's most expensive salons). Kristi at divinity was the stylist I was looking for! Very reasonable prices!! And she does a great job with my long, thick curly hair. I can usually book an appointment either later that week or the next. Yes, there's gossip but nothing that seemed out of the ordinary for a salon. It is a salon after all... I recommend Kristi for cuts or trims. I gave 4stars because we're still working on getting my color just right, but I'm confident the girls there will make sure I'm happy in the end. read more

I like it here. At first I felt out of sorts, but it is a pretty friendly place. Now that they have seen me a few times, they are friendly. They were always helpful, but now they are downright nice. Getting my daughters nails done soon and will be bringing her here. read more

I love this salon! Its spendier than the strip mall chain places but well worth it. I havn't had bad service yet and I have been going for 3 years now. They don't take tips either. Word of mouth is all they ask for. They know what they are doing. Exceptional service and very friendly girls. A little hard to get into so call ahead. read more

I went to go see Mckenzie today and I absolutely loved her. I was going on a recommendation by my roommate since my previous stylist moved to Seattle after getting married. Now I'm extremely picky about my hair and when I find a stylist I like, they're stuck with me for life, or relocating to a new state. I scheduled my appointment and lucked out with Makenzie. She did a wash, cut and style to my hair and some facial waxing. The results have made me pre-book my appointments in advance. read more

I went into Divinity Salon today to see how much it would cost to get my hair color corrected/re-dyed after accidentally dying it too dark (Note, my hair is also very long) As soon as I was explaining what I wanted to the receptionist, one of the girls (stylist) interjected with excuse after excuse for why it couldn't be done. "What do you want done?" "I want my hair a lighter shade of brown" "NOPE can't do it" The first excuse was because the "bleach would leave my hair bright orange." OK. Finding this ridiculous that they would even suggest they would leave my hair like that I asked if they could re-dye it to which she said that, "The dye would leave your hair too damaged. Like seriously a third of your hair will break off." I am pretty annoyed at this point and because not only have I had this done before, I have had none of these experiences. I explain this to them but they are being so evasive and unprofessional about this (under the guise that "they're just being honest" and "giving me the worst case scenario") that at this point I don't even want to have anything to do with this salon. My friend who was fresh out of cosmetology school did this for me a long time ago and it turned out perfectly fine. My guess is that since the tip is priced into the cost of the cut (they don't accept tips) they wanted to get rid of me as soon as possible. This isn't my first negative experience here either. They aren't motivated to provide basic customer service here since they know they're getting a tip no matter what. Avoid. read more

Mikayla was great. That's why it's a one star. I have stopped going because I surprised about how much talking there was among themselves about each other's periods, and other people's kids in school and parents that they don't like, and gossip about anything and everything non-stop including stories like the owner's about teaching her child how to wash their butt. I really don't need to know and it has really turned me off. The tanning services were sub-par. They did just enough to get by, and made me feel like I was hassling them when I showed up. I used to go pretty regularly, and bought some hair services for a friend as a gift. On my next visit in I asked if they would sign off for it, but they refused because it wasn't the same day. What a rip. Threw it out and was appalled when they tried to offer me one again. What's the use, if they won't use them?? I went to this salon specifically because my sister had been there, and enjoyed it, previously. We went a couple hours before they were closing for gel nails. Even though we had an appointment I had to wait an extra 30 minutes to be seen, meanwhile my sister and mother went ahead of me. In an attempt to catch up and be able to go home my nail tech rushed through my nails. She complained about having to do a round tip, hardly consulted me about the length, broke off the tip of my thumb nail and had to start over, and on a couple of nails added a tip that was too small so you can see the edges of my real nails and definitely looks like I have a smaller nail on top. One of my thumbs has also lifted at the very tip and there's a tint gap between the gel and the extension tip. At the end she did added a top coat but did a very messy job, the side of my pinky isn't even covered, and some of my nails already look like they need to be filled because she didn't reach the cuticle areas at all. However looking at my nails from a distance they do look super cute, and I wish I would have gone earlier when they weren't in such a rush to get out and go home. read more
