My only qualm with this place is their procedures for booking appointments. The dentist himself is great and always had a great experience with him. I even recommended him to other family members. However, their procedures make it really difficult for patients who have busy schedules and other priorities. Basically, I booked an appointment for my 3 children and I on the same day. I wanted them to get in before school started after summer break and also wanted to get everyone in on the same day to avoid multiple round trips as gas right now is expensive. I booked this appointment weeks in advance and put it on my calendar. The appointment day comes and the office calls and says I need to reschedule the appointment. Their reason? Because I didn't CONFIRM my appointment via text message. Not once did the office call OR leave a voicemail. I saw the text message, but only glanced at it because I figured it was a reminder text message of my appointment. I get reminder texts frequently for other medical appointments. I've never dealt with a business that needs to confirm an appointment via text or it would be rescheduled, so I wouldn't have thought twice to confirm it. Also, I would think it'd be best to call and leave a voicemail regarding this. OR inform patients when scheduling that they will NEED to confirm the appointment the day prior. I get that they're trying to make up for the "no shows", but at least attempt to call the person. It was difficult enough for me to coordinate with my kids dad who has them half the time to get them this appointment, let alone coordinate for myself. Just a complete inconvenience really and makes me not want to bother with this place anymore. read more

Coming in I was nervous and Denee was the best the sweetest ever. After having the worst experience at Bright Now dental! Meeting the Miracle Dr. Randall Sagisi was the best experience in my life and huge thank to the coordinator Ericka for taking her time and explains it all and so patient. I really hated going to the Dentist until I went to Prestige Dental care. Everyone that provides the services at this Dental Office are to be acknowledged. First, there is Clair at the reception area and she is pleasant and welcoming, then there is Denee the Dental assistant/ Xray technician who is very gentle with every touch. I hated having my X-rays because other places I had Dental care would shove that hard cardboard in my mouth for the X-rays so by the time I met the Dentist I was hurting all over my mouth. Now, let me shout out the best Dentist in the world, it's Doctor Randall. His hands are so gentle, steady and his demeanor is so calming and his knowledge and expertise is so reassuring. I had to have a root canal done and instead of just doing it for doing it sake/ reimbursements, he referred me to a specialist. I was hesitant at first when I saw the endodontist he sent me too, but I had to remember that Dr. Randall always had my best care in mind and trusted his referral to go ahead and have the work done. Also, he would make sure I always leave his care with a SMILE. The other person that is very special there is Erica. Erica always and I mean always call to check on me after a procedure or to remind me of my appointments or just to make sure I didn't need any Dental care since I have a habit of avoiding the dentist. I usually don't do reviews but this Dental practice and the people working there needs to know how grateful I am to be part of the Smiling family. Unprofessional dentist. Has a bad temper toward his assistants but treats the customer right. I was told I needed an inlay but in reality it was just a filling. They charged me $800 for the procedure before the procedure and when I said I didn't want their services anymore because I found a better price else here, they wanted to keep my money. They try to up-sell you which is fine I guess but not very honest practices for a dental facility. Wish they were more honest and treated the client as a patient and not a customer. read more

I loved the service I received here. I walked in for X-Rays on my impacted Wisdom teeth and I walked out with my problems solved. If I could give this place a zero I would. I've been going here for a couple of years. No wonder the staff has turned over so many times and the partnering dentist left. When I first started coming here it was fine but the other dentist was there. Each time I come there is new staff members and some of them take my daughter's or my X-ray's over and over. Today we didn't have that problem. The problem I keep having with this dentist is his attitude. Don't be a dentist if you can be kind to people and work well with people. Find a different profession. I had a cavity that was seen on a X-ray about one year ago that he never even told me about. I didn't find out about it until I went to another dentist recently because he requested I go to for a second opinion on another tooth. They told me I had a cavity and they fixed it. Unfortunately, the other dentist fixed it wrong so I went to back to this dentist because I was in pain and he's my regular dentist. He refused to work on my cavity because another dentist did it even though the dentist never billed me for it. Then when he decided he would work on the cavity he wanted to charge me 200 dollars for a fill. Then he showed me the X-ray of that same tooth back in 2019. He showed me it had a cavity so Why didn't he ever fix it then? Why did I have to go to another office to find out I had the cavity from 2019. He keep telling me my teeth where fine but they where not. Another issue I had with this dentist was once when I was unable to make an appointment. I was unable to make my appointment because I was sick and he personally got on the phone with me to YELL at me about me wasting his time for canceling the same day!! Who does that!! Who calls their patients to yell at them because they were unable to make it due to illness. Charge me a fee don't call me to talk mess to me. I should have stop going to him then but I believed sometimes people have bad days. Here's another incident my insurance approved a root canal and a temporary cap. He told me he can do the root canal but he refused to do the temporary cap. The root canal and temporary cap that was covered by my insurance is all I could afford. He told me he will only do a permanent cap which would cost me 900 dollars. It had already took a long time to get the procedure approved for the temporary cap & root canal however when the approval came he somehow doesn't do temporary caps even though my insurance covers it. Yet he can sell me a 900 dollar cap. Wow if I could afford that I wouldn't need the insurance I have. Also I would get dental approvals in the mail from my insurance and not hear from them until a month later that I got approved. Then I would have to wait another month to get an appointment. Another time I made an appointment and they forgot to write it down and somehow it was my error. Unfortunately, I had just throw out the reminder card a couple of days before the appointment while at the car wash. When I went to the appointment I had no appointment. The only reason I continued to go to this dentist was because they were the only office opened on the weekends which fit my schedule because I work such long hours on the weekdays. With Covid-19 They are not open on the weekends but are open until 7pm which still worked for me. However my conclusion on this dentist is he is impossible to deal with and needs to work on trusting what his patients are saying instead of making them feel like they are under interrogation by a terrible want to be detective. I saw a unopened book wrapped in plastic on his desk about how to get along with others. My advice is read it!! read more

First of all, when it comes to my dental visits, it gets very very detailed for me. Due to some conditions from my younger childhood to now, I only look for the best and only am satisfied with the best. When I was visiting my mother back in Antelope Valley, I had an emergency come up. One of my fillings had a crack and gave me a unbearable toothache. I immediately looked for a good dentist around the area. Then I found Prestige in Paldale. When I read their small count of reviews, I was skeptical, but their business statement on Yelp.com convinced me to give them a try. When I walked in, there was immediate warm greeting from their staff. then I was assisted very shortly. I was treated by Dr. Michael Ortega, who was fantastic! He took his time, didn't rush or anything, explained everything that I needed to know and proceeded with caution.
