Food was Amazing had not had their food for a while because there are so many places to eat in Mount Pleasant but we definitely return.

As an extreme Cava lover, I never thought a bowl-centered fast food place would be better than that, but I stand corrected, because Kairos has become my absolute favorite place to get a bowl. I usually just make my own bowl based off of my mood. It's always good and the ingredients are always fresh and flavorful. The MP location was a little bit dirty at the time I was there, but they were also busy so they might not have had a minute to wipe down tables. The service is pretty reliable. Not to compare too much but I've had some issues with the service at Cava recently, so Kairos is winning in my book! read more

Went there for a takeout order while traveling. Ordered 2 Bowls, one with a salad base and chicken and the other with Lamb and rice. The server made no attempt to explain what any of the options were as I moved through the line,ie, how many toppings you could take or what the indistinguishable food choices were. Also observed that many vegetables were scooped up by hand. (glove on but would prefer a clean spoon.) When we returned to the hotel and ate dinner both the lamb and chicken were dry and tasteless (as were the entire bowls) We ate a small amount and were not interested in the leftovers. read more

Good place for quick Mediterranean bowl or pita wrap dish. Although I am not a fan of bowl type meals, this place is pretty good. The pita wrap is much better. You can build your own but for your first time I recommend you go with a set dish, especially the bowls. The Refresh was better than the Moroccan. The staff is friendly and have patience. First meal of my girls Labor Day weekend vacation. Two of us ate here while waiting for the other girls to arrive. I wanted to start light with a salad knowing how many delicious southern meals awaited me over the long weekend. My local friend highly recommended this place. We both got the power green salad. Wow! It was the perfect lunch! The falafel was freshly made. I got the dill yogurt dressing in the side and it was perfect. All three spreads (humans, tzatziki, red pepper feta) were tasty. Wow! So pleasantly surprised by this place. We ordered a platter with spicy chicken and tons of toppings and a falafel bowl. Both were tons of food with great flavors. Hubby loves good Greek food, and my coworker brought a Greek bowl for lunch that smelled amazing, so I asked her where she got it and she she told me about this place. It is set up almost like a Moe's, where you pick your base item and then get to choose how it's constructed and topped. I got hubby some Gyros and myself a bowl similar to the tantalizing one of my coworker. The ingredients were fresh and there were so many delicious additions it was hard to not just get everything, but I was able to control myself and build a yummy but sensible bowl. The pita was pillowy-soft and the hummus looked so good I took a tub to go. The lamb gyro was not anywhere near as good as the chicken gyro, hubby says. The lavender lemonade was refreshing and delicious, and I will definitely be back for more. Every time I come to the Charleston area, I make it a point to visit Kairos. I've had amazing experiences here in the past, and this most recent visit was no different. Came in at peak lunch hour (1pm) with 4 other people. It was busy inside, with a lot of people eating in, and there was a slight line, but it moved along very quickly. I ordered the Love Heart Pita and added Kairos hot sauce, tomato's, and pepperoncinis. My pita, and everyone else's orders, were ready very quickly. Thats one thing to love about Kairos: the service is quick, and all of the employees are friendly. Now, the food. My pita was amazing, packed with the perfect amount of lamb and toppings. All of the flavors worked well together, with no flavor overpowering the other. The fries were another highlight, topped with a generous portion of feta and drizzled with a delicious vinaigrette. The food was surprisingly light but very filling. If you find yourself in the area, I'd definitely recommend giving Kairos a try. read more

Kairos is located in mount pleasant on a shopping mall with plenty of parking and very convenient when visiting the stores across the lot. It is fast food Mediterranean in which you can build your own gyro and choose the toppings that you want. I went for the beef Gyro and took one of their eclectic drink/ juice mixes which were really unique an enjoyable. I though it was cool to be able to customize my gyro with the topics that I wanted and that allows for so many different combinations to have a different dish each time. It is conveniently located near Nordstrom Mall as I was running errands. Ample size parking lot. I got the platter with two proteins. The Harissa chicken was more flavorful than the lamb. As I mentioned, the meats are cooked ahead of time and kept on a steam table. Hence, the accompanying spreads with warm pita and salad is what makes the meal. I was a fish out of water when ordering. The food was assembled front of us by choosing different items. Since I wasn't familiar with the ingredients I chose the Moroccan Bowl. Even though the bowl contained certain ingredients, they still asked if I wanted that particular ingredient. The food was delicious and I very much enjoyed my meal.
