    Birthday ice cream
    Pearl L.

I came here for my birthday as they have an amazing free birthday package and I really wanted to get my pink crown replaced as my dog broke it thinking it was a toy. We arrived around 9pm-ish on a Saturday where they had live music playing at the bar. We asked to be seated away from the bar as we wanted to have conversations and felt the music was too loud to do that and our hostess was more than happy to accommodate that. Our server Wizz was absolutely the highlight of our visit as he ensured everything we ordered was brought out, checked in us at appropriate times and had a great sense of humor. Unfortunately, they were out of the pink crowns which seems like it is a popular choice as our server shared they only had the yellow and blue one. My brother got the sausage pasta, my boyfriend got their beef fried rice, my mom and I shared the Just the Basics seafood boil, and we got onion rings to share. I know last time I did the birthday package, I was only allowed to use from the alcohol options of a margherita or a Blue Hawaiian but I prefer fruity drinks and the Blue Hawaiian is a slushie drink. Luckily it seems you can choose a Roy Roger or Shirley Temple (used to be for kids' birthdays) and I went with the Shirley Temple. It was okay, I feel like it was more Sprite tasting and not much of the grenadine. The food arrived and everything tasted great. We were really impressed with the seafood boil and everyone got to try it out even though it is suited for one person. The yum yum sauce that comes with the fried rice is heavenly and my boyfriend who doesn't use too much sauce doused his fried rice with it but it was absolutely the best. My brother enjoyed his sausage pasta as well. We got our ice cream which was refreshing after all the food we devoured. They even brought out the magic candle which they say is reserved for parties of 6 and more but it just shows that Wizz wanted to make my birthday memorable. Two employees came over with Wizz to sing me happy birthday which felt genuine and not forced like at other restaurants. We got our photo which also came in this cute green frame to take home, that's a huge set up as I was just given the photo when I last celebrated my birthday. Definitely looking forward to come back to use the $10 gift certificate and for an amazing time.

FOOD: 2/5 ( stars) all around We ordered: *chicken wings, 2x (5/5 stars) *Sweet Potatoes (5/5 stars) *Crab cakes 0/5 stars) mushy and needs improvement . I would not recommend this dish. We did not finished it. It taste yucky! *Fried calamari: 2/5 stars It just taste weird. I've had better ones. Maybe it if it's strips instead of round like a onion ring? *Pot of tea (unlimited) (5/5 stars) *Liquor drinks (5/5 stars) SERVICE: (5/5 stars) Awesome service all around. our servers were very attentive and helpful AMBIANCE: 5/5 stars This venue features an exciting ambiance with modern decor. It is beautifully designed and spacious. The cleanliness and excitement are impressive. The live music was great. The 2124 Band performed amazingly. I highly recommend this place for a night outing and would return. Parking space is plentiful.

The food is so good and the happy hour is great! The truth is that the atmosphere is just positive, I will be back! Great happy hour too for Cajun boil!

Was greeted immediately upon entering and offered restaurant or bar seating. For a change, I requested restaurant. When offered the choice of table or booth, I selected booth. Waiter Wayan was right there offering me a drink. They made my Tanqueray martini straight up with olives, a little bit dirty, perfectly! I selected steak and lobster tonight as this week has been brutal and while I hoped to drive home for 11 hours tomorrow, I now have at least 4 hours of work before heading home. The filet mignon was done medium rare as requested, Wayan even threw in some shredded cheese for my mashed potatoes, in addition to the brown gravy. The spring salad was fresh and had a nice variety of lettuces. Croutons, cabbage, cherry tomatoes and a lemon slice(?) with a generous container of vinaigrette. Mashed potatoes were delicious and the lobster was tender. This restaurant has a huge dining area that is rustic yet modern: a lot of wood, but the learher(?) upholstery looks new. A bit more overpriced, my final bill after a glass of wine, dessert and coffee was $124. The filet and lobster was $78. At those prices, I expect a small pitcher of cream for my coffee, not two tiny plastic sealed half and half containers. It is sadly becoming more common. Overall, a very pleasant meal and service!

I never like to write these reviews when a restaurant is really trying but misses the mark. First what is this place? Is it a crab boil, a sports bar, karaoke/entertainment venue, or a steakhouse? To do it well you need to choose. The boil was underwhelming in all flavor aspects. The quality was missing on the sausage and the butter sauce was oil. There are other amazing places around Tacoma. The fish and chips were oily but passable. The oddly sweet bitesized hush puppy's were cooked but I have had better. Service was attentive then they just never came back. The cocktails and sangria drinks were all juice and sugar. The happy hour menu has extended hours but dont get too excited as the money off ranged from 95 cents to 2.25. Personally I would pick 1 area to focus on what do yoy want to be known for? Another thought Reduce hours of the happy hour increase % off, reduce @ of offerings. I hope they find their clientele as Lakewood needs more options.

We came here because we wanted to get some steaks. Little did we know when we walked in, it was more known for seafood boils. I had never experienced one before and when we passed the table who had one we decided hell why not go ahead and try it out, it looks amazing. We ordered a seafood boil with crab and shrimp and all the yummy extras. We committed. We wore the bibs and we wore the weird plastic gloves and we drove in. I felt like I was a child again eating with my hands, it was kind of freeing! It was very messy, don't get me wrong. But oh my gosh was it so flavorful, such a different experience than anything I've ever had. The service was also top-notch, they can anticipate everything we would need like fresh drinks, extra napkins, a new discard tub, a fresh pair of gloves! I also really liked the ambience and was really comfortable in the restaurant itself. It was sectioned off, the tables were really private, and there was also a cool bar area that was on a lower level. Looks like they have a space for karaoke or live music. We often talk about our experience here and when we'll make it back! It is on the pricier side for that experience so it's a once in a while meal, but I can't wait to try it again soon!

Everything was a 10/10! From the food to the service. I would definitely come back. My favorite was the jambalaya rice and the garlic butter wings! The molten chocolate cake was AMAZING. I didn't get a picture because me and my daughter ate it too quick lol

This place is da bomb! Very unexpected! We stopped in to do a quick date night in a place we haven't ventured. Food and drinks are fire and on-point: cooked to perfection! They offer Happy-Hour 3pm-6pm Mon-Sat and 12-close Sundays. Check out the Happy Hour menu: it's worth it! The service and ambiance is great! I could see this place packing out for events too as it's HUGE. Go, you won't be disappointed!

Omg I would drive again the 2 1/2 hours away from home and come back to this place. The service was great, but the food was superb. I have a terrible terrible dairy allergy and they made sure I could have what I craved and that was their crab pot which they made with no butter first me. Doesn't look that impressive on the outside, but the inside is welcoming and the staff from the first hello until when we said good night was very warm and attentive. My husband had a steak, and he said it was great and raved about his chocolate dessert too.

My first job in high school was at Gilchrist Buick where the sales guys would walk over to Hans' for lunch (and likely a few drinks). Had never been myself. It's an old school tavern, and very clean. That chicken is epic. I know it's "broasted" and the broaster sets it apart because most taverns can't spare the square footage they take up. The end result is crispy, seasoned, moist, flavorful chicken with a crust not found elsewhere. We got the hand cut fries because most jojos are underwhelming. The crust on the fries make me KNOW the joes are also solid. Half chicken and fries or jojos for $18 is a deal in 2026. We were greeted by regulars and when one found out it was our first time there, he bought us both a round. True neighborliness! Both Jason and the other staff member were attentive and welcoming. We were assured this chicken left over and reheated holds up, and I don't doubt it because of that beautiful crust. I've been to other places folks crow about: the Spar, Anglea's, Terrys Office Tavern, Buddys. This chicken is superior, service was great, and it was welcoming. We will definitely return and likely order out, too.

The server, he was one of the reasons I was actually excited to come back. Unfortunately, my second visit was memorable for all the wrong reasons. Before we even sat down, we were greeted by the owner--or, more accurately, acknowledged as an inconvenience. The pub was nearly empty except for one gentleman at the bar, and she seemed far more interested in continuing that conversation than welcoming what appeared to be paying customers. It genuinely felt like interrupting someone's first date. When she finally came over, she somehow managed to be both smiling and incredibly hostile at the same time. It takes a special talent to make an entire group feel uncomfortable while wearing a grin, but she pulled it off flawlessly. The passive-aggressive Olympics would have awarded gold. I have no problem with owners having personality, but treating customers like they're a burden isn't a business model--it's a fast track to empty tables. Add in parking her Jeep in the closest customer spot right in front of the entrance, and it gave off the impression that customer convenience wasn't exactly high on the priority list. If the goal is to use the bar as a personal dating lounge, that's completely fine--but maybe rename it something like F-boy Island, Love Is Blind: Happy Hour Edition, or The Bachelorette Tavern. At least then customers would know what experience they're signing up for. To be fair, the place itself is adorable. It's cozy, unique, and obviously decorated with a lot of love. Between the Christmas lights, faux clouds, flowers, and whimsical touches, it feels less like an Irish pub and more like someone combined Pinterest with a Hallmark movie. Honestly, I'd hire her to decorate a little girl's bedroom in a heartbeat. After reading other reviews, I was disappointed--but not surprised--to see that this doesn't appear to be an isolated experience. It's unfortunate because the food, drinks, and atmosphere have so much potential. A welcoming attitude from the owner would had made all the difference. I'd happily return for the food and the server from my first visit. Returning for the hospitality? That's a much harder sell.
