Had lunch at DJ's Dugout with a group of 10+ friends to celebrate a coworker's new job, and it couldn't have gone smoother! We all arrived at different times, and since it's a seat-yourself kind of place, we found a few large tables in the back that worked perfectly for our group. We were greeted quickly, and drink orders were taken right away. I went with a Diet Coke, which hit the spot. After giving our chatty group a few minutes to browse the menu, our server came back to take orders. I decided on the Cornhusker Chicken Sandwich with a side of honey mustard and extra-crispy tots. Around the table, there was a nice mix of burgers, melts, and wings. There is truly something for everyone. The food came out fast, hot, and fresh. My sandwich was so good. It was one of the better chicken sandwiches I've had in a long time. I skipped the shaved ham, and honestly, I didn't miss it at all. The flavors stood perfectly on their own. Everyone at the table seemed to love their meals, and the conversation flowed easily as we laughed and reminisced. They recently made their menu smaller and prices seem a bit higher, but the wings are still good and relatively affordable, service is standard a little slow but food came out hot and table was clean. Standard sports bar atmosphere so loud tvs and conversation. Definitely a bit of a cigarette smell from the smoking area outside but overall a decent place to go for lunch or dinner and catching the game. Watching in the distance I see a waitress holding a plate with a literal mountain of chips and cheese walking toward us. I said, "what the hell is that thing?!" And my friend says, "oh yeah...that's our nachos!" As I'm looking at this thing in amazement, I notice everyone else around me doing the same thing and saying, "holy crap! No way I could eat all that!" There were three of us total and we decided to share this monster nacho plate they have, and I had NO IDEA what I was getting into, but I'm so glad I did! It was worth every calorie, and it wasn't even that pricey for that monstrosity. Less than $20 I believe. I love the selection of sports here too! On any given day you can walk in here and find whatever game you're looking for on one of the TVs. On this particular day it was the Nebraska women's volleyball semifinals. I know 5 stars might seem a little suspect, but i have come here quite a bit the past few months, and either i have perfect timing or the staff and management are just that excellent. If you have ever heard of expectation vs. reality, this place gets it right! Food comes out piping hot, looks perfect, and the prices are pretty dang good. They have food specials every day, also their own 32oz drinks that are really good. The interior is really spacious with tons of seating for any sport that is on. This review is based on food, service, cleanliness, atmosphere, and value. The Cobb salad was disappointing. The egg smelled bad, the avocado was sour, the chicken was dry, and seemed old. I picked all three off, and ate the remainder. I also ordered some wings. The wings themselves weren't terrible, but the sauce I picked was Mango Habanero. There was no heat. Definitely not habanero heat. There was a lack of mango, also. They were just sweet, like they were tossed in a sugar syrup. My daughter said the NY strip was okay. Best part of the meal was the cheese curds. Service was slow. Especially when we were finished, and was trying to pay and leave. Sat there for about 20 minutes twiddling thumbs. Cleanliness was an issue. The table was dirty, the seat was dirty, the menu was sticky and gross. I felt gross after being there for 5 minutes. The atmosphere was like a casino. Great if you want to lose a lot of money. I didn't care for it. The value of some things were okay, others, not so much. Will I be back? No. read more

We had a really great bartender. She was so friendly, very attentive and very helpful. We played some Keno with the help of staff to explain the game to us and we even won some money. The very large margaritas aren't that great and are way too sour. They're made from a sweet and sour mix which I didn't much care for. Cool place. Lots of TVs with sports on. You won't walk into this place and find NCIS or Law and Order on! They have Keno, which I know nothing about and still didn't after reading the Keno rules book. Went there after a game at the CHI and not being able to get a seat at Let It Fly, my daughter's first choice, and all I can say is pretty standard sports bar. Lots of TVs was a good plus because we got to watch the game we came to see on both a TV right in front of us at the bar and was also on a bigger screen as well. Woefully small beers on tap selection for a sports bar and service at the bar was not great. Yes they were busy but it took a good 5-10 minutes to get acknowledged we were even there. Another bartender joined and things were much better and she did seem to be much more service-oriented so give her kudos over the guy we started with. Ordered wings and the bartender said she didn't know much about the sauces they had, but I always go with the hottest anyway and got the Smokin Hot Scarlett and the sauce was pretty good and wings good sized but needed to be crisper. Daughter got popcorn chicken which was cooked too much and sort of just like little hard pellets of chicken. The tots however were pretty good. Can't say, given the multiple sports bars right in the area I would stop here again before at least trying the others. read more

A great place to eat, drink and watch various sports on wall to wall tv screens. The wait staff are friendly and make us feel welcome. I always feel relaxed here. The Reuben is my favorite go to item. It is delicious! My son's fav is the Sweet Bourbon Burger. DJs in Bellevue has a great space, and is definitely set up nicely for a sports bar. The customer service is usually good and friendly, if a bit slow at times. Usually has good drink and lunch specials. That said, their food is a bit of an embarrassment, especially the items you'd traditionally think of as bar food like the chicken wings. As a blanket statement I can say the majority of the food I have had has been oily, and seems like it came out of the "value" bulk freezer boxes you can find at low income stores. Nowhere does seem more apparent than with their anemic, poorly cooked chicken wings. The wings are the smallest, saddest things I have seen at a retaraunt, and frankly DJs needs to hire someone that knows how to cook them. They are usually pretty dried out, and it's hit or miss if you get a good saucing on them. They offer a "char-buffed" option, which I would caution you against ordering as they don't seem to know what that means and you will get wings so overdone and dessicated you'll want to throw a funeral out back for them. I just feel like at a sports bar, chicken wings are kind of the baseline, and these are priced very expensively for a very poor product. read more

My wife and I went here a couple weeks ago to eat lunch with some of her co-workers. It was pretty packed, but easy to find a seat. the place is pretty big with nice, big TV's everywhere you look. It would be a great spot to watch some football. I ordered their special of the day, Prime Rib sandwich and fries for $7.99. The sandwich was good. It could have used some seasoning and a little more meat. The fries were amazing, almost double coated or something. Overall, I would definitely go back and try something else. This is the second time I have been to this location. He staff here is extremely friendly and the kitchen gets your food out to you quickly. It is a sports bar so do not expect to come here and have a quiet meal, and there are tvs everywhere for the sports fanatics! One suggestion would be to put up a swinging door of some kind between the kitchen and the booths near the keno area. Guests can see into the kitchen and see what the staff is and isn't doing. Plus it will cut down on the noise coming from there. read more

Had a good experience the previous two times I have been here but on July 28 I was immensely disappointed. They two out of the four orders wrong. I ordered the peanut butter burger and instead got horse radish. I don't know how peanut butter and horse radish get confused with each other but it happened. They also forgot dressing for the salad. 1 star goes to their Cheddar Jack Fries because these things are to die for!! The other star goes to the atmosphere. They have so many screens to watch whatever sporting event you're looking for!! No more than two stars though because the service isn't very good unless you're drinking a lot of alcohol. The waitresses know that the tables that are drinking more are going to tip more so they don't pay much attention to the tables that aren't drinking. I tip a fairly good amount, if the waitress comes to my table more than to just take my order and drop off my food (and sometimes it's the bus boys dropping off the food). Also, they got rid of my popcorn chicken!!!! That was one of two reasons I come to DJ's (the other is the fries I mentioned earlier). Even though the fries are amazing, I need the popcorn chicken to compliment them. If you're just looking to drink and watch sports, this is the place for you. Overall, a pretty good sports bar. Their Rueben is the best thing on the menu. Service is usually speedy, and their staff is friendly.

Quite possibly the worst chicken fingers we've ever had. Tepid vegetable soup. And the crackers were stale. Service was full of errors. We shouldn't have empty glasses and dirty dishes left on the table while the server walks away with empty hands. And it wasn't busy. At least the TVs were large and functional. It has been years since I've been here. Our server did a good job, not much has changed except the value isn't there. Schooner for $6 are you kidding me?!?!? Wednesday wing special used to be .25, then to .40 and now you can be the proud owner of a buffalo wing for .65 but only on Wed. Other nights it will cost you your hood ornament off your Mercedes. My first review of DJs was a little harsh. One thing I commented on, the awkward and depressing droning of the keno calling girl. it's not the fault of the restaurant. I don't even think it's the same company. I did state that it took and exuberant amount of time to get our food, but we had a really large group. The overall Takeaway, is that the owner of DJs took full accountability for everything that I commented on, and that goes a long way. It's a locally owned business so give them a shot. Cool place to watch the games... big screens and lots of space make this place ideal. They offer Keno, which is fun to play... Their food menu includes wings and on game days they have beer specials. So far I've tried the wings and prime rib sandwich, and both are delicious! I also like that they have these little raffle drawings for prizes on game day... Very cool. We come in here a lot and I have always been heisted in putting in a review. The Menu is good and their daily specials are the best around. Tuesday and Thursday's are my favorite. Once you have been there a few times, you know where to set to get the better servers. Having KENO in the restaurant is also a plus. The KENO writers are also very good ladies. I will say that their drink prices continue to raise and seem a little harsh. read more

My guess because it is 25 cent wing day it was going to be busy. But to wait 2 hrs to get your food was a bit much. DJ's Bellevue location is great. There are TVs all over the place. I always get giddy on gameday when I walk in and can see all the games playing somewhere. The food isn't too bad. Their wings are solid, but nothing out of this world. Prices are reasonable. They're also one of the few sports bars in Omaha, that I've found thus far, that have NHL ticket. So when I'm able to watch a game of my team, DJ's is at the top of the list for my choice of destinations. read more
